Nicki Minaj Wins at BET Awards

Ξ June 28th, 2011 | → 0 Comments | ∇ BET Awards, Los Angeles, Nicki Minaj |

Nicki Minaj was on hand at the 2011 BET Awards which were held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles this past Sunday. The 26-year old rapper picked up the award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist during the show and had a hard time getting what she wanted to say across to the audience. Nicki started her speech by saying “Wow, I can’t believe I won,†which ended up getting some laughs from the crowd. She then said “That’s not what I mean!†But seriously, who else would have taken that trophy away from her considering the oh so stiff competition she had in the category?

Lady GaGa performs at the MuchMusic Video Awards

Ξ June 20th, 2011 | → 0 Comments | ∇ Lady Gaga, MuchMusic Video |

The singer was also among the acts that performed at the Award Ceremony. Lady GaGa chose to sing “Born this Wayâ€. Her performance was reasonably interesting and she even brought a sort of egg-capsule on stage, not to mention the rather large outfit she chose for the performance and the wig that went with it. She did change the suit for something a little more comfortable a bit into her show. She didn’t have any problems with performing the song which is not surprising since she does seem to take her music seriously… even if she does exaggerate with it from time to time.

Justin Bieber got frisky with some lovely ladies at the BRIT Awards

Ξ February 16th, 2011 | → 0 Comments | ∇ BRIT Awards, Brit, Justin Bieber, Performance, Singers, Video |

The singer who snagged an award for “Best Breakthrough Act†apparently couldn’t help but brag about meeting Rihanna and Cheryl Cole at the ceremony. This is what Justin Bieber tweeted on the matter: “I got nervous up there and couldn’t rememeber anything. Lol. I did get to kiss cherylcole and rihanna on my way to the stage.” Well, well… Justin Bieber sure isn’t letting any of that charm of his go to waste. Still he might want to keep in mind that he does have a girlfriend now and such interactions might be frowned upon a bit. But then again, Justin Bieber does seem like the kind of dude who can get any girl he wants.
