Panic at the Disco has recently premiered the music video for their song “Ready to Go”. The track is the official second single from the rock band’s latest album, and the first work as a two-piece group, “Vices & Virtues”. The video was directed by Shane Drake, who also directed several other visuals for Panic at the Disco, including “The Ballad of Mona Lisa” and their 2006 VMA-winning video for “I Write Sins Not Tragedies”. I love this song and I love the video. Anything by Panic at the Disco, I’m a fan of. Add the fact that Shane directed it, even more so.

Usher is set to hit the stage at the 2010 MTV VMAs and he couldnt be more excited. The 31-year old R&B singer shared It is an honor to once again be a part of the MTV Video Music Awards. I cant wait to perform for my fans all around the world who have helped to make this album a success and my being here possible. You never know whats gonna happen on an MTV VMA stageI look forward to making it a night to remember. I wonder if Usher knows about Ne-Yo getting cut off the performers list to make room for him.

Kanye West is back with a new song called Power which features soul singer Dwele. The song is off of the rappers forthcoming album, tentatively called Good Ass Job. In the song, Kanye attacks Saturday Night Live for mocking him after his infamous interruption of Taylor Swifts win during last years MTV VMAs. There are rumors going around that producers at Saturday Night Live are working overtime to book a surprise cameo by Kanye West when Taylor Swift hosts the comedy show in November. Sources are saying that the plan is highly likely to take place. I think that the country singer would have a very good sense of humor about the whole VMA thing after all this time that had passed and it could prove to be a great career move for the rapper who I?m sure has had his fair share of the backlash from his douche bag actions last month.
I?ve been waiting to hear what Beyonce has to say about the whole VMA incident revolving around Kanye West and Taylor Swift since it happened. When recently asked about the incident that will go down in MTV history, Beyonce said ?Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he’s like, ‘You have this award. And when they didn’t call my name he was, like, completely shocked. And when he walked on the stage, I was like, ‘No, no, no!’ and then he spoke, and I was like, ‘Oh, no, no, no!’ But in the end, it ended up being a great night, and Taylor Swift did get her moment ? and I didn’t have to make an acceptance speech.?
Lady Gaga is the latest artist to weigh in on the whole Kanye West-Taylor Swift drama that went down at this year?s VMAs. While promoting their now defunct joint tour, the singer told a Las Vegas radio station that her first reaction to the rapper?s interruption was ?Oh gosh,? but that she thinks it?s ?unfair to judge somebody on one mistake they’ve made.? Lady Gaga said ?He feels so fucking bad. He really does. I think that everyone can get so caught up in gossip and stuff. I felt like that moment kind of like really portrayed him in a way that he really isn’t. It was just a random moment.?

If he didn?t sound like someone younger than Taylor Swift in his apologies, it might. The rapper released another apology via his blog earlier this week and it?s just as crappy as the first one. He said ?I feel like Ben Stiller in ?Meet the Parents? when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave? That was Taylor’s moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry.? Who uses a stupid comedy as an analogy for his apology?

They took the stage with house band Wale at MTV’s VMAs show where front man Tyson Ritter debuted a new glittery look. After rocking the proverbial house, Ritter caught up with MTV news
and confirmed the long standing rumor that he will in fact be teaming up with pop powerhouse Rihanna for a yet to be recorded track. With AAR’s stock rising by the day, it only made sense for the quartet to cap their week by ringing the opening bell for the New York Stock Exchange

Taylor Swift has spoken out about the rude and bizarre incident at the 2009 MTV VMAs involving Kanye West, all the while remaining as humble and as professional as ever. Those are some words that you will never hear being used to describe the rapper. When asked about the moments on stage, the country singer said ?Well, I was standing on stage because I was really excited because I had just won the award. And then I was really excited because Kanye West was on stage. And then I wasn’t so excited anymore after that.? Celebrities left and right offered their support to Taylor after the incident but Taylor herself doesn?t hold any ill-will, saying ?I don’t know him, and I’ve never met him, so? I don’t want to start anything because I had a great night tonight.?
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has said that singer Lady Gaga’s VMA Performance will be “Next-Level”.
This year’s MTV video music awards is set to be jam packed and Perez has said GaGa’s performance will be especially good.
Gossiper Perez can’t wait to see what GaGa, 23, real name Stefani Germanotta, has up her sleeve for this year’s Video Music Awards on September 13.
Hilton promises that the star, known for her wacky dress sense, will deliver.
The 31-year-old told MTV: “I was with Gaga in Japan recently, and we absolutely talked about the VMAs.
“I’m going to be Gaga’s date. Well, I’m not going to be on the carpet with Gaga, because Gaga might be having some special guests with her ? that’s all I can say. I can’t reveal too much. Special guests!”
Hilton described the performance as “next-level.”
He added: “I think, without a doubt, Gaga’s gonna be that big star of the night, just because her performance really is next-level.
“That’s the thing about her: She’s always trying to top herself, and I think she’s going to.”
