Mel B, former band mate of Victoria Beckham in Spice Girls, will give birth to her future child in the same salon where her girlfriend brought the world Seven Harper Beckham in July.
The former Spice Girls band component said she reserved the same salon where Victoria Beckham gave birth a month ago at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, announces Female First. In an interview with the British magazine Hello!, Mel B – who will give birth in a few days – has revealed the fact that she wrote an invitation to Victoria to the party in honor of her future child, but she could not make it.
Later, she mentioned that she’ll give birth in the same salon as the new mother. “The funniest thing is that I will give birth in the same room at Cedars-Sinai in which Victoria has brought to the world Harper,” said the British artist.
Mel B married Stephen Belafonte and has two children from previous relationships: Phoenix Chi (12), and Angel Iris (4).
Seeing as how his American version of the X Factor is in the building plans, Simon Cowell is trying his best to bring on all sorts of interesting folk to join in the fun. Next on the list would have been Victoria Beckham for one of the judge?s seats, but the former Spice Girl apparently turned Simon Cowell down more or less. This is what a source related about Victoria Beckham?s refusal: “Victoria told Simon she needs time to think about it as she is so busy with her fashion work right now. Looking at her hectic schedule, some of the dates mooted could be problematic as David is away, so she wants to work from home and look after the kids. Simon is incredibly charming so who knows. they did have a long conversation and although Victoria thinks he will be too manic to commit, she loved her time on the Idol panel.” Well, that?s what you get when you ask a working mom to dedicate herself to a career. But Simon Cowell is probably going to find a way? he always does.
American Idol has kicked off its new season with stars like Katy Perry, Mary J. Blige and Neil Patrick Harris lending their judging talents to panel regulars Kara DioGuardi, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell in choosing singers who would make it to Hollywood. The first guest judge Victoria Beckham recently spoke to People magazine about the auditions, saying ?I believe in constructive criticism and I am a very positive person, so I always tried to find something good and helpful to focus on, be it someone?s singing, their looks or their overall style. Having been a performer, I know how difficult it is to be that person standing there being judged. I didn?t want to trample on people?s dreams.?
The next season of American Idol is shaping up to be a good one. The reality TV talent show is back on the air on January 12 for a 2-night, 4-hour premiere event featuring the auditions from Boston and Atlanta. They have quite a star-studded guest judge list to boot! Not only is Ellen DeGeneres taking over for Paula Abdul for the whole season but Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris, Joe Jonas, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry and Shania Twain will be guest judges throughout the season. I am definitely looking forward to this new season!
