Lil Wayne is one very lucky guy. The rapper?s tour bus was detained in Falfurrias, Texas last week after Border Patrol officers found some marijuana on board. The great part about it for Lil Wayne was that he managed to escape a citation. He and 11 others were questioned by Border Patrol last Friday night and a couple of the guys in his crew were cited for possession. The rapper obviously dodged the bullet big time or he would be serving more time in jail on top of the time he?s set to serve starting in early February. When is this guy going to learn?
Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and the LA Lakers are getting sued by a company that claims that they all used knockoffs of their big screen in concert. Large Audience Display Systems says in a federal lawsuit filed in Texas that the concerts in question used a large audience display screen that was identical to their patented gigantic monitors. Britney uses the screen on her Circus tour. Justin used the monitors on his FutureSex/LoveShow tour and the Lakers use them for the games. The Pussycat Dolls were also involved in the lawsuit. The company wants an injunction prohibiting the defendants from using the knockoffs in the future as well as unspecified damages.

Boyband The Jonas Brothers have bought a $2.8m home in Texas.
The boys have reportedly bought a new pad together in the Dallas suburb of Westlake.
According to American newspaper The Dallas Morning News, the trio, consisting of Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15, have bought an expensive six-bedroom house in a gated community known as “Vaquero”.
The boys, who currently reside in Los Angeles, will be neighbours to former British Open Champion Brian Watts and major leaguer Mark Teixeira.
