Lana Del Rey has made her TV debut by performing her song “Video Games” on the UK show “Later… with Jools Holland”. The 24-year old internet sensation, whose real name is Lizzy Grant, recently sold out her first UK show in about 30 seconds and has already racked up more than 2 million views on YouTube. I’m not surprised at all considering how talented she is. I love her unique and sultry vocals. And I love that she’s singing in the jazz/soul genre. Her performance was captivating simply because of her voice. But I just have to ask, is anyone else seeing a resemblance between her and Natalie Portman?
The soul singer has recently released a new music video for the song “Bodies”. This one is a really creepy ride and what’s amazing is that it seems to be done a pretty low budget since it does look like more or less of a collage of images, but it’s done very well and Cee-Lo Green’s song comes as the essential piece in completing the atmosphere. The song is a soul/R&B piece and the lyrics seem to hold a rather disturbing load of negative emotion that fits very well with the general theme of the music video. It also features a spoken part at the beginning and a rather disturbing ending to top it off. This one is definitely worth a view or even more.

Cee Lo Green was recently asked what he thought of Gwyneth Paltrows cover of his song Fk You, which will appear on Glee this week. The soul singer said I must say hearing this song sung by Gwyneth Paltrow, an Academy Award winner, is a timeless flattery I wont soon forget. Are you excited to see Gwyneth sing Cee Los song on Glee? Watch for it tonight. Im hoping for another epic episode like last week and not just another stunt episode. I think Ive had enough of those already. Heres to hoping for a great plot and a great episode.

Kanye West is back with a new song called Power which features soul singer Dwele. The song is off of the rappers forthcoming album, tentatively called Good Ass Job. In the song, Kanye attacks Saturday Night Live for mocking him after his infamous interruption of Taylor Swifts win during last years MTV VMAs. The lyrics go Fk SNL and the whole cast, tell them Yeezy said they can kiss my whole ass / More specifically, they can kiss my ahole / Im an ahole? You nas got jokes. They say I was the abomination of Obamas nation, well thats a really bad way to start the conversation / At the end of the day, God Dammit, Im killing this st, I know damn well they feeling this shit / I dont need your py, bch, cause Im on my own d**k.
The singer recently decided to share with us all how content she feels about all the relationships she has had thus far? even though they have all run their courses as it seems. This is what Alicia Keys said on the matter:”I’ve never dated a ton of people, I’ve always been a one-guy kind of girl, but I have to say that I’ve always been lucky with love, blessed with it. Overall I haven’t had any terrible relationships – apart from a couple of little stupid ones when I was younger, but at that age you kinda can’t help it. But I’ve always had really great guys in my life, you know? They’ve been very stable men as well. I need a guy who is strong-minded, not intimidated by me – I don’t like those kind of guys.” For such a string of stable and strong-minded guys, it?s really strange none of them stuck around Alicia Keys long enough. That might tell you a bit about how the singer herself behaved in her relationships.
