The legendary artist Tony Bennett released a video in memory of Amy, called ‘Body & Soul’.
The song was recorded by the two artists a few months ago, in Abbey Road studio in London. There was filmed the video too.
“Body & Soul” was the last song recorded by Amy Winehouse before she died on 23rd of July, 2011, at her home in London.
The single “Body & Soul” is included on Tony Bennett’s album, “Duets II”, released this month. The disc contains, among other things, collaborations with Lady GaGa and Michael Buble.
Amy Winehouse was born on September 14th, 1983. On July 23rd, 2011, Amy Winehouse was found dead in her home. At the autopsy, doctors have not found traces of banned substances in the artist’s body.
Nadine Coyle’s first solo single ‘Insatiable’ was nothing short of disappointing but it apparently has a hot music video. It’s apparently so hot that it’s been banned for TV. The singer recently went on her Twitter to talk about the video saying that it “failed a test for TV”. It has since been forced back for a re-edit after it was deemed too sexy. Nadine said “It was so much fun making the video – even though I was sprayed with water and had a bad neck afterward after all the hair flicking and rocking out I did!” It’s too bad no amount of sexiness can cover how bland the song is.

An impressive list of top stars have arrived in Los Angeles to record a charity single to raise money for the victims of the Haiti earthquake.
The singers and actors all met at the Jim Henson Studios in Hollywood on Monday afternoon to begin the recording of We Are The World.
Among those spotted entering the studio were: Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Justin Bieber, Vince Vaughn, Kanye West (pictured) and girlfriend Amber Rose, Julianne Hough, will.i.am, Wyclef Jean, T-Pain, Randy Jackson, Gladys Knight, Brandy, Keri Hilson, Faith Evans, Rob Thomas, Nancy Wilson, Nicole Scherzinger, Harry Connick jr, Katharine McPhee, Robin Thicke, Josh Groban and India.Arie.
Other stars rumoured to be participating included Miley Cyrus, Bono, Lady GaGa, and Sheryl Crow.
Producer Quincy Jones – the man behind the 1985 original version of the song that featured Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and many others – confirmed the remake.
He said: “It’s the 25th anniversary and it’s perfect timing. It’s not an accident, man. That’s God. It will be We Are The World for Haiti.”
The music mastermind and talent show king is going to be doing his own part in helping the victims of the Haiti disaster. Simon Cowell will be making a single in which he will gather of bunch of famous voices from around the globe in order to raise money for Haiti. This is what Simon Cowell said on the matter: “It’s very, very short notice. We made the decision today, so I’ve got to get it all together in about 48 hours. It’s going to feature as many people as possible. I haven’t made up my mind on the song yet, I’ve got a couple of ideas. It will be a cover version, yeah.” Why donate yourself when you can make others do it for you? and maybe gather up a little extra for the effort. And if anybody can do that, then it?s most definitely Simon Cowell.
It seems the singer is so busy lately that she just can?t make enough time to release her new single and promote the upcoming movie ?Avatar?. A source said the following about Leona Lewis? reluctance: “Leona was delighted to be part of ‘Avatar’ but the song was never supposed to be released. But her cover of ‘Run’ wasn’t meant to be released either – and look how well that did.” Leona Lewis is probably working on her own first movie and probably can?t be bothered right now. All in due time? maybe Leona Lewis is on to something and knows that if she releases the single after the movie it will be even more of a hit.
David Cook recently scored his third Top 10 Single on Adult Radio. The 26-year old American Idol champ?s introductory single ?Time of My Life? reached number 7, its follow up ?Light On? peaked at number 4 and his latest single ?Come Back to Me? moved into the number 10 spot last week. The singer has announced that he also has plans to extend his first ever solo tour, ?The Declaration Tour ? 2009? through October 2009. It?s good to see that his career is flourishing. More power to him and congratulations on scoring that third top 10. I wonder when he?ll score a number 1.

Travis Barker has revealed his band Blink-182 have finished a new song for their next album and will be playing it on tour this summer.
Travis, 33, is working with his old band again after they recently reunited.
He said: “We all got together and met up and, almost immediately, we got inspired. So it went from just playing around together to being like: ‘Let’s lay down demos! And tour!’”
He added: “And, to be honest, it was crazy. I was still recovering from all my surgeries [from his plane crash in September], and was way out of it when we first got back in there.
“I was in no shape to be in the studio, and we were kinda held back a bit. We decided to just get used to playing with each other again.”
Their new track will be called Up All Night, and Travis said fans will be able to hear it on their tour later this year. He admitted that their new songs have been inspired by old material.
He said: “When we do go in [to make the new album], it’s gonna be like that. You can’t help but have everything on the table… all the stuff we’ve done – like +44 and Angels & Airwaves – since we last played and recorded, it will influence the new stuff.”
He added: “In the case of Up All Night, it feels like it could’ve been on the last record, or right where the last one left off.
“It’s kind of heavy. It all makes sense. The pieces are all together.”

Kanye West recently took to his blog to talk about how his latest video for his single ?Paranoid? was leaked on the internet. The rapper wrote ?IT HURTS ME TO SEE THE OLD AND VERY WRONG VERSION OF THE PARANOID VIDEO GET LEAKED ALL OVER THE NET WHILE I WAS ON AN 11 HR FLIGHT AND COULDN’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. IT’S JUST FRUSTRATING WHEN THIS STUFF HAPPENS BECAUSE I REALLY CARE ABOUT THE PRODUCT AND SINCE VIDEOS NEVER GET PLAYED ANY WAY YOU MIGHT AS WELL TWEAK THEM AND MAKE THEM AS SPECIAL AS POSSIBLE. THE VERSION THAT GOT LEAKED FROM THE CAMERA PHONE LAST WEEK IS AT LEAST A LITTLE CLOSER TO THE FINAL PRODUCT. THANK YOU EVERYBODY FOR YOUR SUPPORT BUT THAT VIDEO WAS NOT UP TO MY STANDARDS.?
