Madonna is reportedly back in the studio hard at work for the follow up to 2008?s ?Hard Candy?. For the yet to be titled album, the Queen of Pop is bringing in a long list of collaborators including French DJ David Guetta, Fernando Garibay and Kanye West?s DJ A-Trak. The latter of the DJ?s talked about the collaboration saying ?It’s my production, turned into song structure – halfway between rap and electronic and whatever else I listen to.? And with Pearl Jam?s producer Brendan O?Brien on board with the singer as well, it leads me to believe that there?s going to be some rock infused music as well.

Musicians Involved in Torture Tactics

Famed musicians, including REM and Pearl Jam, have filed a series of Freedom of Information requests, asking the government to declassify documents that would reveal which artists? catalogs were used in several prisons and military detention centers, including Guantanamo Bay. The music may have been used in controversial interrogation methods in which detainees are forced to listen to music at extreme levels for hours on end. The requests were filed by Close Gitmo Now, an organization aimed at pressuring Congress to support President Obama?s intentions to close Guantanamo Bay prison. Their allegations are based off the testimony of former prisoners and guards that identified music from artists like Britney Spears to AC/DC to the Sesame Street theme song.

One of the guys from Pearl Jam was recently jumped and robbed by three masked scumbags with knives ? and the whole ordeal was caught on tape! According to a police report filed in Atlanta, the band?s bassist Jeff Ament, was pulling up to their studio with a friend when the three muggers darted out of some nearby woods, smashed the windows of his car in and demanded money. According to Rolling Stone, the musician tried to take off on foot but the robbers caught up with him, knocked him to the ground and stole over $7000 in money and goods. Jeff suffered a cut on his head and was treated at the scene. But despite having the scene being caught on camera, no arrested have been made.

Jeff Ament?s bad money-swapping experience

The bassist from Pearl Jam, Jeff Ament, had a bit of a bad experience in changing the ownership of currency. He and a certain Mark Anthony Smith were attacked and robbed outside a studio in Atlanta where Pearl Jam is supposedly recording a new album. Apparently there were three assailants that stole 7000 dollars? worth in money and equipment. The two were attacked when arriving in a jeep at the studio? Jeff Ament apparently tried to run, but was intercepted with great hostility. What kind of a bassist is he anyway? He should?ve been hardcore, he should?ve used his instrument as a hand to hand weapon? after all, a bass guitar does pack quite a wallop.
