The song is from Alicia?s latest album ?The Element of Freedom?. Speaking of Beyonce, the R&B singer is also rumored to star in the remake of the classic ?A Star is Born?. Russell Crowe may play the aging, alcoholic musician who mentors and falls in love with Beyonce?s character. I?m all for the classics but I?m not sure about the remake of that movie. Beyonce is definitely no Barbra Streisand.

The 17-year old singer recently spoke to MTV about it, saying ?The music video relates to the song in a way that a girl has so much to say to the guy, and it feels like he?s not listening, and she wants him to remember everything that they had. And so instead of having a love interest in this video, it?s all about being fierce and kind of, like, taking control as a girl. It?s like girl empowerment. Yeah, divas!? Or it can just be the Disney star?s way of saying that she doesn?t need a man in her life.

The video was directed by Joseph Kahn and also features producer Swizz Beatz and rapper Lil Wayne. The rapper wrote ?IT HURTS ME TO SEE THE OLD AND VERY WRONG VERSION OF THE PARANOID VIDEO GET LEAKED ALL OVER THE NET WHILE I WAS ON AN 11 HR FLIGHT AND COULDN’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. IT’S JUST FRUSTRATING WHEN THIS STUFF HAPPENS BECAUSE I REALLY CARE ABOUT THE PRODUCT AND SINCE VIDEOS NEVER GET PLAYED ANY WAY YOU MIGHT AS WELL TWEAK THEM AND MAKE THEM AS SPECIAL AS POSSIBLE.
