The DJ has recently released a new music video for the song “I’m on One”, which features Drake, Rick Ross and Lil’ Wayne. In DJ Khaled’s new music video Drake seems to be the one that does most of the singing, but Rick Ross and Lil’ Wayne do their part also. The music video is mainly comprised of seemingly random footage and a few appearances from the artists behind the song… nothing too extraordinary. The song is a rather strange sounding Electropop/Hip-Hop piece. DJ Khaled’s new music video might manage to turn a few heads, but most likely not too many.

The singer has recently released a new music video for his song “Like This, Like That”. Jay Sean’s song is a basic Pop/R&B piece with nothing too amazing in it, reasonably catchy, but not as much as any other of his earlier hits. The music video isn’t too special either since it’s basically just Jay Sean interacting with his female companion in some pretty abstract environments. There is also an intervention by rapper Birdman, but that goes pretty unnoticed as well. Still, the song is not too hard on the ears so it may have some sort of lifespan. The music video however will most likely be very soon forgotten.

The group have recently released a new music video for their song “Champagne Showers”. As one would expect from LMFAO the music video starts out pretty interestingly, with messages written in mirror view. The video supposedly has some sort of story behind it, but it all unfortunately degenerates into a party video. Still, it is not your average party video and that’s certainly going to score it a few points. The song itself is in LMFAO’s reasonable stile of electropop/hip-hop with a bit of a twist of dance in there. All in all, not a bad piece of work, although it could have done a bit better in retrospect.
The singer has finally managed to release a new music video, this time for her single “Man Down”. The music video begins pretty harshly with the murder of someone, but this basically just sets the mood for the song itself which is actually a reggae/R&B murder ballad. The imagery that follows is reasonably interesting and it is mainly focused on Rihanna… and of course there’s no lack of the very common eye candy. The music video isn’t a bad piece of work, and the song is a pretty steady piece for anyone who likes reggae and the sound of Rihanna’s voice. This one will probably garner itself a reasonable following and for a reasonably long amount of time.
The band has recently released a new music video for their song “I Feel Like Dancin’”. The song itself isn’t too amazing, a rather catchy pop/rock tune that seems to work pretty well. The music video however is the really interesting part since All Time Low seem to be trying at a satire on how things go in the music industry these days. It’s not a bad idea, but doesn’t seem too well implemented since they’ve put so much of the elements they’re trying to mock in the music video that it somehow looks like they’re going for reverse psychology. Still, the really fun part is how they make fun of a very well known artist of today towards the end. So all in all, it’s a pretty fun music video to watch at least once.
Steven Tyler recently released his first solo track off of his upcoming album. However, the rock singer admitted that the song, “(It) Feels So Good”, was originally penned for his band Aerosmith. The rest of the crew turned it down though. Steven reveals that he’s had the song written for a few years and when he brought it to his band mates, they just didn’t like it so it got tossed. Steven explained “I wrote the song at the Sunset Marquis hotel in Los Angeles a few years ago. I swear it’s going to be a hit. I can hear it coming out of people’s cars this summer. I’m a fool for melody, man. I’ve got to have melody. I miss it, and there it is.” There’s a reason the rest of Aerosmith decided to toss it but it’s Steven’s solo career so he can take whatever risk he wants to take.

Steven Tyler – (It) Feels So Good – Lyrics
Something cool went down
As I was walking with a friend of mine
And I, I still remember,
How she was smelling like the summer time
And oh, how it changed my mind
Changed everything, about that, come on girl
It feels so good, loving you
Yeah, it’s so good, the way you do the do
It feels so good, and I need oxygen,
Little bit of heaven doin’ 24-7 again
Yeah, again and again
Like I was sayin’
My little cupid was real super freak
By the time that I came down
I’ll get locked up in a room for a week
And oh, how she changed my mind
Changed everything about this crazy world
It feels so good, loving you
Yeah, it’s so good, the way you do the do
It feels so good, yeah and by the way
Little bit of heaven 24-7 times a day
A long hair
A double dare
And I swear
A Little bit will do you some good
Say where
I’m goin’ there
And I swear
Can’t get enough of you, oh yeah yah
Ma bonsoir
Excuse moi
Ya oh la la
Is gonna doing to me good
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Oh yeah, it feels so good, loving you (loving you)
Yeah, it’s so good, the way you do the do
It feels so good, yeah I need oxygen
Little bit of heaven doin’ 24-7 ah
Oh yeah, it feels so good, loving you (loving you)
Yeah, it’s so good, the way you do the do
It feels so good, lovin’ you (loving you)
It feels so good, making love to you
Uh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah eah
The singer has recently released a new music video for his song “Bounce”. To make things a little more interesting Kelis is actually featured in this music video too. The song is mainly an electropop piece with the occasional pop vocals from Kelis. It’s pretty catchy, especially in comparison to most other songs of the genre without being overly annoying. The music video isn’t really too amazing either. It starts out with Calvin Harris breaking-up with his supposed girlfriend and then continues with a collage of all of the fun he has with a few friends of his afterwards. Despite the lack of amazing here, it’s not too bad a listen and the music video might just find its way on a couple of charts too given a little time.
Lady GaGa has released her long-awaited music video for the song “Judas”. This new “Judas” video isn’t really as controversial as some was expecting, there are some biblical references but nothing too extreme. I guess she is not happy with her love life according to this video.

Jessie J recently had a talk with Interview magazine where the 22-year old British singer/songwriter talked about her struggles and making music that means something. On going through her struggles, Jessie J said she doesn’t mind them at all, saying “I’m glad I’ve had to struggle. It’s made me the artist I am now.” As for making music, she shared “I’ve been surrounded by male egos my whole career and sometimes just wanna go, ‘Oh, f— off.’ I’m going to make sure that each song is more than just ‘I’m in the club, shaking my booty.’” Good on you Jessie J!

The singer has just released a new music video for his song “The Lazy Song”. The song and the video are about as simple as simple can be: it’s a rather commonplace pop/R&B piece with a video of Bruno Mars and five dudes with monkey masks doing a few dance routines in an empty room. The choreography is not really that complex and it’s mainly meant to be funny and simple… like the song and its message. The fact of the matter is that it works, it’s pretty catchy and of course very fun to watch. This is how music videos should be done: all it takes is a good and simple idea. And Bruno Mars really nailed it with this one.
The singer has finally premiered her long-awaited music video for the single “Till the World Ends”. Check it out below Britney Spears – Till the World Ends – Music Video:
The singer has released a new music video for her single “Wonderland”. This new piece of Natalia Kills’ is pretty interesting, the song is a rather catchy pop/electro combination with a bit of a darker theme, but pretty up-tempo nonetheless. The music video is pretty consistent with the song, although it does bring to mind Marilyn Manson’s old stuff a bit… pretty chaotic, obscure and hard to understand, but if you take a little time to piece it together it does start making sense. Still it is at least an interesting watch, if not more and Natalia Kills sure seems to want to shock and awe… and she’s probably going to succeed in doing it.
The recently discovered singer has just released her first music video for the song “This is what Rock’n’Roll Looks Like”. It’s a bit hard to believe that Porcelain Black was discovered by Lil’ Wayne… she looks a bit more like something Marilyn Manson would promote… well, apart from the dance elements and moves in the video and the song. Lil’ Wayne of course wasn’t going to let Porcelain Black do all of this by herself so he pitches in on the music video a bit as well. The video itself borders somewhere between interesting and annoying: on the one hand you have this weird girl who’s a cross between Lady GaGa and Marilyn Manson, at least at first glance, and her singing’s a bit off too, but not annoying. On the other hand, you have the same old party video with lots of enticing females and what have you. The song doesn’t sound too bad either: a cross between the dance of decades past and something that kind of sounds like Rock’n’Roll. This one is probably going to have a very polarized following.

The band has released a new music video for their song “Rope”. Actually, this can hardly be called a music video since it’s mainly just a performance video in which the band just plays their song in a white room. But then again this is pretty fashionable for alternative rock bands it would seem and Foo Fighters don’t want to fall in behind. The song itself isn’t really half bad, the instrumentation and the lyrics are within reasonable limits and Dave Grohl’s vocals seem to add a bit of a twist to everything, even though this sounds like your basic alternative rock piece. There’s also somewhat of a light show toward the end of the music video. If there are any Foo Fighters fans out there who are tired to just listening to the song and want a few images to associate with the music, then they might want to give this music video a view or two.
With the release of the singer’s much awaited music video for “Born this Way” it seems that Lady GaGa has embarked upon a path of conquest that is somehow reminiscent of the Blitzkrieg of ages past. Apart from “Governmental Hooker”, Lady GaGa will have yet another single called “Judas” coming in the near future that will also have its own music video. Of this latest single the singer’s creative director, Laurieann Gibson, had this to say: “So, visually, the dance, the costuming, the idea of how big we’re trying to go, it’s going to be a rollercoaster ride. What is a traditional music video? Even if we go with a traditional music video, the directors that we love are not traditional, so the idea that they get to collaborate with us means they too want to live outside of what people expect a traditional music video to be.” Lady GaGa and her crew sure seem to have high expectations of themselves… well, maybe this time it will actually be as earth shattering as they say.
The singer has recently released a brand new music video for his song “More”. The music video isn’t really anything to actually scream at, however the song it seems to be promoting doesn’t sound half-bad. It’s a very catchy pop/R&B piece… nothing that hasn’t been done before, but Usher seems to be singing it the way they used to back in the good old days. The music video is mainly made up of concert footage together with a lot of close-ups with Usher. Not the most amazing combination, but it’s practically free and also ensures that the songs gets more promotion since that’s probably what Usher was going for. So anyone who likes Usher’s singing might also want to take a look at this music video.
The very successful recent hit of Dr. Dre’s, “I Need a Doctor”, finally has a music video. As with the song, the music video features Eminem and Skylar Grey doing almost all of the singing. This one is pretty epic and it seems that Dr. Dre hasn’t really spared any expense with it: 7.5 minutes long, plenty of special effects like Dr. Dre crashing a Ferrari, but there’s also some serious product placement here. The music video it’s basically a metaphor for what the song stands and it looks like whoever thought it up did a reasonably good job of it… but then again, who wouldn’t with what seems to be unlimited funds. Still, there’s no denying that it is an interesting view and Dr. Dre’s fans and Eminem’s fans will most assuredly love it.

The band has recently released a new music video for the song “Burning in the Skies”. This new music video of theirs can most accurately be described as slow. Not much going on in Linkin Park’s new video even though it has a lot of special effects, but it does seem to fit to the mellow and melancholic tone of the song itself. The director of Linkin Park’s new music video certainly saw something in “Burning in the Skies” and he tried to distill its essence and transmit it through images, but he doesn’t seem to have managed not to be too cryptic. Still, it will probably prove a good view for Linkin Park fans and others, even though the song too is not so much reminiscent of what the band is best known for.
The band who have recently released their brand new album a day earlier than expected have also released a new music video for the song “Lotus Flower”. Radiohead’s new music video is rather strange as it is shot completely in black & white and it only features Thom Yorke dancing in front of what appears to be a warehouse of sorts… the dance itself is rather unnerving. The song mainly follows the same line… no Radiohead alternative rock here, just a steady electro beat and a few variations in-between, but it mostly all concentrates on Thom Yorke’s singing. This is probably Radiohead’s idea of an experiment so maybe their fans will want to check it out, but even they might find it a bit hard to interpret and even like.
The soul singer has recently released a new music video for the song “Bodies”. This one is a really creepy ride and what’s amazing is that it seems to be done a pretty low budget since it does look like more or less of a collage of images, but it’s done very well and Cee-Lo Green’s song comes as the essential piece in completing the atmosphere. The song is a soul/R&B piece and the lyrics seem to hold a rather disturbing load of negative emotion that fits very well with the general theme of the music video. It also features a spoken part at the beginning and a rather disturbing ending to top it off. This one is definitely worth a view or even more.
The alternative rockers have just released a new music video for their song “Never Gonna Leave this Bed” from their new album “Hands All Over”. The song is pretty much what you’d expect from Maroon 5: the pop rock, semi-melancholic, crescendo ballad with Adam Levine’s James Blunt-ish vocals. Not a bad listen. The music video is basically what its title says: Adam Levine and Russian model Anne V spending most of the clip in bed. The bed does change from time to time and they travel around in it in a glass box and Adam Levine does get up to sing with the band from time to time, but true to the song’s title: they don’t really leave the bed. Not a bad way to spend three and a half minutes… however ironical that might sound.

The singer has finally released the much anticipated music video for her single “S&M”. This one has been on the waiting list for quite some time now and it’s probably not going to disappoint at first glance. Rihanna’s new music video features a lot of very fast, very colorful imagery that is apparently supposed to have a deeper meaning. It’s actually some kind of a metaphor for Rihanna’s relationship with all of the press out there… of course it is pretty easily deducible what “S&M” stands for. There’s even a little shot of Perez Hilton appearing as Rihanna’s pet in the music video… quite befitting actually. All in all, it’s a rather interesting view and no more need be said about the song itself since it has already made its fair round of popularity.
Taio Cruz recently premiered via VEVO the music video for “Higher”, the latest single from “Rockstarr”, featuring the version with Travie McCoy. Taio Cruz featuring Travie McCoy – Higher – Music Video http://www.vimeo.com/18093289
The rockers from Kings of Leon have recently released a new music video for their song Pyro. The video itself is a fairly interesting thing as it features Kings of Leon playing in a sleazy strip bar. Except for the band itself, everything else seems to happen in slow motion and a guy starts a bar fight that has a rather unexpected result. Musically the song is a soft rock piece, very mellow, seemingly melancholic with some pretty cryptic lyrics, but King of Leon have probably hidden a sense in there somewhere for anybody who is patient enough to look for it. All in all its not a very bad waste of four minutes.
The band has recently entered the Christmas spirit vigorously, especially given the release of their latest music video Christmas Lights. Visually, the video is a reasonably fun watch, it isnt too pompous, but it isnt lacking in nice imagery there are even a couple of fireworks at the end which might work for some people. The music on the other hand is disappointing, especially given that Coldplay are the ones singing. The song is a pretty mellow piece about a sad Christmas and Coldplay couldve done so much more with it, but it does seem like they didnt put too much effort into the writing and just went with common stuff.
The singer has recently released a new music video for his also new single, Pray. As you would probably expect the video is a collage of footage from many of Justin Biebers travels where he visits sick children, on duty soldiers and so on and so fourth. At some points it is a bit touching. The images actually manage to augment the songs potential a little bit and thats probably the best thing this video has to offer aside from being a reasonably powerful promotion tool, that is. To wrap it all up, there are also some images of Justin Bieber playing his guitar and singing suspended somewhere in a big metal heart. And if thats not confusing enough, the images are black and white. Thats where the video kind of derails a bit.

The band has released a new music video, this time for their song SING. The video is a bit more epic than any of the other stuff released today as it actually features all the guys from My Chemical Romance in a few very simple action scenes. Unfortunately, thats pretty much all the good to be expected out of this video as the music is very, very repetitive and even annoying and the lyrics arent really any better. My Chemical Romance seem to have gone to a pop/rock sound rather than their old alternative rock and emo days. From what you can see and hear from this video, its not a very good change.
The singer has just released a new video for her hit song Sun of a Gun. What strikes you first about this one is the rather unusual setting which probably wants to be a rip-off of the US governments rip-off of the moon with a lot of lights. Then comes Oh Land dancing and singing to this unusual pop-ish song with a few electro elements. And thats pretty much the whole clip. The moon is revealed to actually be snow or something of the sort when Oh Land interacts with it and the song has a mild crescendo but basically keeps up the same pace as its singer dances. So if youre into pop with a hint of the unconventional, then this video deserves a try.
Lady Gaga has received some backlash due to her music video for ?Telephone? from bigots who claim the lesbian relationships are sadomasochistic and poison and the princess of pop is not at all pleased. The singer has recently responded to the haters and showed them up with her class. She said ?There are transsexual women and transgender women and suddenly it becomes poisonous and something else because there are some people in this world that believe being gay is a choice. It’s not a choice, we’re born this way. That’s why for me this video is groundbreaking because it has one foot in the art community and one foot in the commercial world? Hearing people say the video is sadomasochistic or that the video promotes murder for young people, it’s my personal belief that the video is getting so much attention, not because of those themes because I’ve done those themes before, haven’t I? There are no rules or limits when it comes to love. But I see love as separate from sex.?
Michael Gondry, acclaimed filmmaker and music video director for the likes of The Rolling Stones, Radiohead and The White Stripes has vision but the guy has to be blind by not being amazed by Lady Gaga. During a recent interview, the director basically slammed the pop princess by saying ?I?m not interested. To me it?s like a form of Marilyn Manson. It?s hard for me to talk about it; I?ve seen a couple of videos of hers, and not for very long. I stop watching them each time because I don?t think there?s melodies? And I don?t see it. Her melodies are very conventional. I remember when my friend and I would argue about Killing Joke. I remember him saying, ?It?s so great!? But I said, ?It?s so conventional! How can you find anything original? It?s just surface!? I don?t know, maybe the comparison is ridiculous. But the melody was very, very flat. That?s probably why they are famous. But maybe it?s considered high art just because of the way she dresses?? I?ll compare his next video to the best of the singer?s and we?ll see which is better.
