The pop singer is seen belting out her song with soaring diva vocals from the sandy shore of a Malibu beach, moving along with the uplifting beat while seated in a convertible and enjoying a fireworks display at night. I’m not that crazy about this video. Leona looks beautiful in it and it’s obvious that the camera loves her but it’s just too boring. And considering what the song’s lyrics are about, the whole concept is just so wrong. I honestly don’t expect this to help her single any.

Jessie J has a new song out called “Domino”. The upbeat track, which was produced by Dr. Luke, is a song that wasn’t included in the 23-year old British pop singer’s debut album “Who You Are”. It makes me wonder if this a bonus track or a new song or just something that didn’t make the cut. If it’s the last one, I’ll never understand the reason because I really think it’s a great song. It has a catchy tune and a refreshing vibe. And with lyrics that go “Rock my world into the sunlight. Make this dream the best I’ve ever known. Dirty dancing in the moonlight. Take me down like I’m a domino. Every second is a highlight. When we touch don’t ever let me go” how can you not think of it as fun?

It’s not the typical material from Lil Wayne but I actually like it. Drake better watch out because he may have some competition when it comes to this style of music. Lil Wayne shows off a softer side in this new song, mostly singing instead of rapping throughout the guitar-driven production. Once you get used to the idea of Lil Wayne as a singer, you’ll get into the song. It’s been on repeat ever since I heard it.

Steven Tyler recently released his first solo track off of his upcoming album. However, the rock singer admitted that the song, “(It) Feels So Good”, was originally penned for his band Aerosmith. The rest of the crew turned it down though. Steven reveals that he’s had the song written for a few years and when he brought it to his band mates, they just didn’t like it so it got tossed. Steven explained “I wrote the song at the Sunset Marquis hotel in Los Angeles a few years ago. I swear it’s going to be a hit. I can hear it coming out of people’s cars this summer. I’m a fool for melody, man. I’ve got to have melody. I miss it, and there it is.” There’s a reason the rest of Aerosmith decided to toss it but it’s Steven’s solo career so he can take whatever risk he wants to take.
