An eBay seller is claiming to have a boatload of Madonna?s personal items, including journals from 1988 to 1992, an address book with famous contacts like Antonio Banderas, Dennis Hopper, Lenny Kravitz, Matt Damon, John Malkovich, Oliver Stone and Al Pacino, as well as personal family pictures. The set, which is now being sold on eBay, is said to have belonged to the Queen of Pop?s personal assistant Melissa Crowe, who worked for the singer from 1987 to 1996. There?s no word yet on how the seller obtained the items but Melissa has told a fan site that she wants the items back and tells fans to not bid on the items. I can only imagine how juicy those journals are.

It seems that the rocker recently admitted to lending a helping hand for Madonna when she was facing extreme pressure regarding the adoption of Mercy James and needed a place to lay low. That place turned out to be Lenny Kravitz?s French mansion as the singer himself relates: “It has been tough for Madonna. But she’s doing good. She’s been staying in my place in France while it was going on. I’m glad it’s worked out.” Indeed, what more inconspicuous place to hide from the media than a French mansion? especially one that belongs to Lenny Kravitz. Really, what was the catch? Was the mansion haunted? Abandoned? How come Madonna actually managed to find peace there?
Lenny Kravitz has just unveiled the video for ?Dancin? Til Dawn,? the third single off his 8th studio album, It Is Time For a Love Revolution. The video was shot and directed by seminal French photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino who has helmed videos for Madonna, David Bowie, Sting, Bjork and more. The single, ?Dancin? Til Dawn? comes across as the materialization of a career that has spanned almost two decades of classic rock, old-school soul and gritty funk sculpted into a contemporary rock smash.
The fourteen tracks that complete It Is Time For A Love Revolution were written, recorded and produced by Lenny Kravitz himself. The album is available in stores and at digital retailers now.
While Lenny Kravitz was taking in the sights, several tourists were taking a sight of him. The rocker kept his cool in a tank top while strolling through the streets of Florence, Italy this past weekend. The singer is currently on tour in Europe. That day was probably one of his days off. Lenny was seen being snap happy by taking a lot of pictures and even spent over an hour at a local wine store. It sounds like someone had a fun time. Then again, it?s Lenny Kravitz. The only time he may not be having fun is when he?s thrown in a big controversy.
