The French DJ David Guetta, was declared to be the most downloaded artist in the history of dance music, according to a study made by Nokia Ovi Music Store. According to contactmusic.com, David Guetta’s songs were downloaded by more than a half of Nokia Ovi Music Store users. By collaborating with artists like Kelly Rowland, Akon and Fergie, David Guetta made it three times to the top position in the British charts. Following David Guetta in the Nokia Ovi Music Store chart there are: Cascada, La Roux, Ministry Of Sound and Basshunter.
Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland has praised Beyonce for how she acted at the recent MTV VMAs.
Beyonce, 28, won the video of the year award and gave up her stage time to 19-year-old Taylor Swift.
Kanye West interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video to say he felt Beyonce deserved to win.
Rowland said: “Beyonce is such a classy, gracious woman. I actually Tweeted that, and everybody was like: ‘It’s so true.’”
She added that she thought Kanye’s interruption was “disturbing”.
She told USmagazine.com: “I think that as a music industry and a fellow artist, it’s important to know that there is room for everybody. Kanye is a genius – no one takes that away from him, but [he should] be moral and be a [good] person.”
