Kanye West is back with a new song called ‘Power’ which features soul singer Dwele. The song is off of the rapper’s forthcoming album, tentatively called ‘Good Ass Job’. In the song, Kanye attacks Saturday Night Live for mocking him after his infamous interruption of Taylor Swift’s win during last year’s MTV VMAs. The lyrics go “F–k SNL and the whole cast, tell them Yeezy said they can kiss my whole ass / More specifically, they can kiss my a–hole / I’m an a–hole? You n—as got jokes. They say I was the abomination of Obama’s nation, well that’s a really bad way to start the conversation / At the end of the day, God Dammit, I’m killing this s–t, I know damn well they feeling this shit / I don’t need your p—y, b–ch, ’cause I’m on my own d**k.”

Kanye West is being serious with his latest blog post. I can tell because the rapper didn?t type in all caps and I could actually read it. He seems a little bummed that people believe a story that he demanded to be seated in first class and has taken to his official blog to complain. Kanye said ?I feel bad that people believe this kind of stuff or any random rumor that is taken as fact because ‘it’s on the internet.’ This rumor is particularly ironic because I was actually happy with a business class seat and was offered a seat in first class. A friend of mine was sitting in coach so asked if they could bump him up to business instead of putting me in first. There was absolutely no altercation in any way? I really could care less about where I sit on the plane? As a good person with a warm heart, it does bother me? The singer recently spoke out about his support of gay marriage at the Grammy Awards and also called out others who have been toying with the idea to just go the distance. An impressive list of top stars have arrived in Los Angeles to record a charity single to raise money for the victims of the Haiti earthquake.
The singers and actors all met at the Jim Henson Studios in Hollywood on Monday afternoon to begin the recording of We Are The World.
Among those spotted entering the studio were: Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Justin Bieber, Vince Vaughn, Kanye West (pictured) and girlfriend Amber Rose, Julianne Hough, will.i.am, Wyclef Jean, T-Pain, Randy Jackson, Gladys Knight, Brandy, Keri Hilson, Faith Evans, Rob Thomas, Nancy Wilson, Nicole Scherzinger, Harry Connick jr, Katharine McPhee, Robin Thicke, Josh Groban and India.Arie.
Other stars rumoured to be participating included Miley Cyrus, Bono, Lady GaGa, and Sheryl Crow.
Producer Quincy Jones – the man behind the 1985 original version of the song that featured Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and many others – confirmed the remake.
He said: “It’s the 25th anniversary and it’s perfect timing. It’s not an accident, man. That’s God. It will be We Are The World for Haiti.”
Madonna is reportedly back in the studio hard at work for the follow up to 2008?s ?Hard Candy?. For the yet to be titled album, the Queen of Pop is bringing in a long list of collaborators including French DJ David Guetta, Fernando Garibay and Kanye West?s DJ A-Trak. The latter of the DJ?s talked about the collaboration saying ?It’s my production, turned into song structure – halfway between rap and electronic and whatever else I listen to.? And with Pearl Jam?s producer Brendan O?Brien on board with the singer as well, it leads me to believe that there?s going to be some rock infused music as well.
Carrie Underwood hosted the 2009 Country Music Association Awards at the Sommet Center on Wednesday in Nashville, Tennessee. Kanye West seemed to think that if he continued to apologize for what he did at Sunday night?s MTV VMAs, he can make up for what he did. If he didn?t sound like someone younger than Taylor Swift in his apologies, it might. The rapper released another apology via his blog earlier this week and it?s just as crappy as the first one. He said ?I feel like Ben Stiller in ?Meet the Parents? when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave? That was Taylor’s moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry.? Who uses a stupid comedy as an analogy for his apology?
Taylor Swift has spoken out about the rude and bizarre incident at the 2009 MTV VMAs involving Kanye West, all the while remaining as humble and as professional as ever. Those are some words that you will never hear being used to describe the rapper. When asked about the moments on stage, the country singer said ?Well, I was standing on stage because I was really excited because I had just won the award. And then I was really excited because Kanye West was on stage. And then I wasn’t so excited anymore after that.? Celebrities left and right offered their support to Taylor after the incident but Taylor herself doesn?t hold any ill-will, saying ?I don’t know him, and I’ve never met him, so? I don’t want to start anything because I had a great night tonight.?
Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland has praised Beyonce for how she acted at the recent MTV VMAs.
Beyonce, 28, won the video of the year award and gave up her stage time to 19-year-old Taylor Swift.
Kanye West interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video to say he felt Beyonce deserved to win.
Rowland said: “Beyonce is such a classy, gracious woman. I actually Tweeted that, and everybody was like: ‘It’s so true.’”
She added that she thought Kanye’s interruption was “disturbing”.
She told USmagazine.com: “I think that as a music industry and a fellow artist, it’s important to know that there is room for everybody. Kanye is a genius – no one takes that away from him, but [he should] be moral and be a [good] person.”

Rihanna will be making her comeback performance on the premiere night of NBC?s The Jay Leno Show on September 14. This will be her first ever performance ever since she was assaulted back in February. The 21-year old Barbadian singer, along with rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West, will perform ?Run This Town? from Jay-Z?s new album ?The Blueprint 3? which will hit stores on September 11. E! also reports that The Jay Leno show is close to securing Tom Cruise to participate in his new segment ?The Green Car Challenger? wherein celebrities race each other in alternative-fuel vehicles. The singer will be performing at this year?s BET Awards together with her husband Jay-Z and other resounding names such as Kanye West, Ne-Yo, Soulja Boy. Beyonce herself is a favorite for some of the awards including favorite R&B female, video of the year and so on. The rapper wrote ?IT HURTS ME TO SEE THE OLD AND VERY WRONG VERSION OF THE PARANOID VIDEO GET LEAKED ALL OVER THE NET WHILE I WAS ON AN 11 HR FLIGHT AND COULDN’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. IT’S JUST FRUSTRATING WHEN THIS STUFF HAPPENS BECAUSE I REALLY CARE ABOUT THE PRODUCT AND SINCE VIDEOS NEVER GET PLAYED ANY WAY YOU MIGHT AS WELL TWEAK THEM AND MAKE THEM AS SPECIAL AS POSSIBLE. In a recent interview, Kanye West revealed that he doesn?t like to read. The rapper said ?I am not a fan of books. I would never want a book’s autograph. I am a proud non-reader of books. I like to get information from doing stuff like actually talking to people and living real life.? The rapper recently pleaded not guilty to the charges of assault brought to him by a photographer whom he supposedly attacked at the Los Angeles airport last September. It?s amazing that this case actually lingered in the law system for this long. More so, Kanye West didn?t do the pleading in person, he sent his lawyer to take care of that. Now it will probably be just another few months until this case eventually reaches the court, a few more months for the trials themselves and finally, Kanye West is probably going to be given a friendly warming and a ticket? or something of the sort. So this is how things work in the land were anybody can sue anybody else for mostly anything? quite the lovely system they have there.

Soulja Boy?s delusions of grandeur have given a new definition to the meaning of the phrase. The rapper keeps a tally of goals that he hopes to accomplish but the young Soulja has set the bar almost into outer space. First on his list is to tour with Rick Ross and Eminem. Then he wants to collaborate with Jay-Z, Kanye West and Lil Wayne for his upcoming album ?The DeAndre Way?. Do those guys even know him? The delusional rapper boasted to reporters ?Mark my words: This album will go platinum. It will be the best album I’ve put out so far. I don’t want no bullshit. I want, from start to finish, classic #1 records. I’m not playing.?
The rapper has recently confirmed that he will be performing at the famous British musical event along with his prot?g? Mr. Hudson. Kanye West said: We’ve toured together a lot so it’s a real possibility. I do agree with the idea you have to play guitar or some other kind of instrument at a festival. Hudson is a truly talented singer and performer who plays guitar and piano. You can take his record all the way to the festivals.” It?s just utterly amazing! The great genius has finally mellowed down and it seems he is willing to accept those around him as equally great talents. Maybe this is all the result of that South Park episode a while back? The doctor who performed surgery on Kanye West?s mother the day before she died has given up his medical licence.
Dr Jan Adams operated on Donda West on November 9, 2007, performing multiple procedures including a tummy tuck and breast reduction. She died the next day.
Donda’s autopsy concluded there was no evidence that the surgery was botched. The report stated that the 58-year-old died of heart failure, and added: “Multiple post-operative factors could have played a role.”
Although Adams has always denied any wrongdoing, the Medical Board of California sought to revoke or suspend his license because of multiple alcohol-related convictions.
“A series of complaints were filed against Mr Adams, but he chose to surrender his license instead of contest them,” Medical Board spokeswoman Candis Cohen said.
