And it looks like this time really was the American Idol contestant?s last and very unlucky charm. Aaron Kelly got voted off of American Idol last night since his ?Fly me to the Moon? rendition from Frank Sinatra didn?t manage to convince the audience to well. Ryan Seacrest gave the following words of encouragement for Aaron Kelly: “You are truly an inspiration,” Seeing as how he only made 5th he?s probably an inspiration to Danny Gokey and the like? and that?s not going to stop him from rising in the pop world in a flash. Unfortunately for him, he?s going to have to do it from home and not this season?s American Idol podium.

Michael Lynche brings it home

Well, it?s pretty obvious who the star of last night?s American Idol episode was. A mere glance at Simon Cowell?s comment about Michael Lynche?s performance will be more than an answer to that question: “The first three performance have been OK. Now, with you, that’s all changed. … I actually felt that you listened and that everyone worked together on that performance. … Fantastic. Well done.” It looks like the American Idol contestant really managed to sell Frank Sinatra?s ?The Way You Look Tonight? to the judges? and to the audience from the looks of the Idol Meter. There?s really no doubt now about who?s going to be safe this week.

Amy Winehouse’s dad Mitch is reportedly planning to bring out his own album following his daughter’s success.

Amy, 25, has had two successful albums and is currently working on her third album.

It is claimed that her dad Mitch now fancies trying his hand at music and producing some material.

Reports say Mitch has been working on tracks including some Frank Sinatra covers as well as some of his own tracks.

A source said: “Mitch has been working on it for a while now. Amy always credits her dad with getting her into singing. He loves music. He has a good voice and wants a go at turning pro.”

Mitch has reportedly approached his daughter’s record label Island Records about getting a deal together.

However, if that falls through, he can work with daughter Amy on her own label, Lioness.
