Justin Bieber’s documentary “Never Say Never” has already grossed $63,300,218, landing it a spot as the third highest grossing documentary film of all time. If the pop singer can keep it up, he could reach the top spot. The teen sensation just has to surpass the $77 million to beat “March of the Penguins” for #2 but needs to gross over $120 million to beat out Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 9/11”. It sounds like the penguins are done for. I’m not sure he can beat out Michael but there’s still a possibility. And here I am wishing he would go away.

It was recently announced that the Michael Jackson documentary ?This is It? will remain in theaters through Thanksgiving weekend. In a press release, the chairman of Sony Pictures, Jeff Blake, explained ?In just 5 days, Michael Jackson?s THIS IS IT has become the highest grossing concert film of all time and we are elated by the response to this special film by fans, critics and moviegoers from all over the world. With this kind of global response, it?s clear that the motion picture deserves an extended run and we are going to do everything we can to make the film available to everyone who wants to see Michael Jackson?s THIS IS IT on the big screen.? Considering the weekend turn out, I think they are seriously over-estimating the public interest in the movie.

Blur will be featured in a new movie

The famous British group will be the subject of a documentary that will tell the story of their rise to fame, the peak of their glory and their steady downfall? and maybe the stuff that led to their present-day reunion. A source said the following about the upcoming project: “Everyone in the Blur camp is really excited. There’s plenty of material to fit in – their first five years of struggle, their Britpop heyday with all the drinking and their gradual and bitter demise.” Sounds dreamy, the whole story of Blur in one neat little package? what?s a bit strange is that the band would be so eager to let the world see how they managed to screw everything up because of drinking.
