Fox really wants all “Glee” fans to watch the Super Bowl this year as it has recently been announced that actress Lea Michele will be singing “America the Beautiful” during the pre-game festivities of this year’s big event. Following the TV star’s lead will be pop singer Christina Aguilera who will sing the National Anthem. It sounds like a diva off to me. I wonder whose set of pipes will grab the hearts of the nation more. I think it’s a pretty tough call but if Christina messes up, she’s going to live with it for the rest of her life.
Mariah Carey ran up a $38,000 tab with a veterinarian who claims that she cared for the curvaceous divas puppies 24/7 and even delivered one of them. Dr. Cindy Bressler has filed a lawsuit against the pop singer in Manhattan this week and claims that she provided extraordinary services for three of Mariahs Jack Russell terriers but that shes only been paid $8000 out of the $38K bill. Dr. Bressler was said to be in charge of grooming and feeding the dogs while Mariah was in LA promoting Precious. According to the vets attorney, Dr. Bressler also brought one of the dogs into this world by delivering the puppy last year.
Well, theres nothing too new or shocking in that, but the way Nick Cannon expresses it and the idea hes trying to get across dont really match up. This is what he said about Mariah Carey: ”Imagine if you’ve got the diva of all divas. If we’ve got to be somewhere at five or six o’clock, I tell her it’s time to go at noon so she gets those five hours to do what she needs to do.” How Nick Cannon can actually consider that to be a good thing is purely beyond understanding, but hey, if he likes waiting around for more than a sixth of his day, why try to stop him?

It?s being rumored that the singer is in fragile health and although her reps deny the claims, there?s no arguing that she isn?t what she used to be. The former diva only sang two songs before she exited the stage to take a break. She appeared out of breath, coughed through songs and when she returned to sing through six more numbers, she handed the mic over to her brother Gary to sing. A concertgoer said ?She was not fit to perform. She seemed to be on another planet, and the concert was laughable. When the back up singer’s performance is the stand out for the night you know something is wrong.?
The singer will be performing at this year?s BET Awards together with her husband Jay-Z and other resounding names such as Kanye West, Ne-Yo, Soulja Boy. Beyonce herself is a favorite for some of the awards including favorite R&B female, video of the year and so on. Still, isn?t anybody thinking of giving Beyonce a ?super-duper-uber-pooper diva of the year? award. After all, she most likely deserves it more than anybody else, what with the fifty meter car rides and all. Really, it would be a real dang shame if Beyonce wasn?t honored for all of her talents at such prestigious events.
