Taylor Swift?s Hilarious SNL Monologue

If you missed out on Taylor Swift?s guest hosting gig on Saturday Night Live, you pretty much missed on one of the greatest episodes of the comedy show ever. The country singer sang and played guitar to ?Monologue Song (La La La)?. She killed it! Here are some sample lyrics: ?You might think I?d bring up Joe [Jonas], that guy who broke up with me on the phone, but I?m not gonna mention him in my monologue. Hey Joe, I?m doing real well. Tonight, I?m hosting SNL but I?m not gonna brag about that in my monologue. La la la. Ha ha ha. La la la.?; And if you?re wondering if I might be dating the werewolf from Twilight. Hey Taylor [Lautner]! (blows kiss, winks) But I?m not gonna comment on that in my monologue.?; and ?You might be expecting me to say something bad about Kanye [West] and how he ran up on stage and ruined my VMA monologue. But there?s nothing more to say cuz everything?s okay. I?ve got security lining the stage. It?s my SNL monologue.?

Josh Groban Returns to Glee

Josh Groban made a memorable, albeit brief, appearance on ?Glee? this season, but according to the singer, we haven?t seen the last of him on the musical TV show. Josh has confirmed that he will be returning to the series before the season is out, saying ?I think I?m going to come back and do one more episode. And we?ll see what happens.? He admits that he?s eager to return because he loves to do comedy and he loved working with the cast, sharing ?I had a great time with that cast, coming from a theater background. It?s so nice to see so many theater actors being hired for mainstream television. And also, being a member of the choir club as a kid, just to see that group of people being represented in mainstream culture is really, really so great.?

Kanye West to Join Taylor Swift on SNL

There are rumors going around that producers at Saturday Night Live are working overtime to book a surprise cameo by Kanye West when Taylor Swift hosts the comedy show in November. Sources are saying that the plan is highly likely to take place. I think that the country singer would have a very good sense of humor about the whole VMA thing after all this time that had passed and it could prove to be a great career move for the rapper who I?m sure has had his fair share of the backlash from his douche bag actions last month.

Lady Gaga on SNL

Lady Gaga will be performing a brand new single off the upcoming ?The Fame Monster? release, which comes out this November, on Saturday Night Live. The singer is scheduled to take the comedy show?s stage on October 3 so don?t forget to tune in if you want to get your Lady Gaga fix. I think that the show is going to be epic because of her. I can?t wait to see how she?s going to bring her uniqueness to that stage. I?m also wondering if they?re going to have some skits revolving around her. I think that they should have some Gaga skits in there.

Kanye West Continues to Apologize

Ξ September 18th, 2009 | → 0 Comments | ∇ Kanye West, Taylor Swift |

Kanye West seemed to think that if he continued to apologize for what he did at Sunday night?s MTV VMAs, he can make up for what he did. If he didn?t sound like someone younger than Taylor Swift in his apologies, it might. The rapper released another apology via his blog earlier this week and it?s just as crappy as the first one. He said ?I feel like Ben Stiller in ?Meet the Parents? when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave? That was Taylor’s moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry.? Who uses a stupid comedy as an analogy for his apology?

Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt took Los Angeles by storm with a packed live show.

The duo did a live performance as The Mighty Boosh at The Roxy on Sunset Boulevard joined by their co-stars on the show Dave Brown (Bollo), Michael Fielding (Naboo) and Rich Fulcher (Bob Fossil).

Fans began queuing at midday on Tuesday for the free MySpace Secret Stand-Up show, which had been advertised on the site.

The Mighty Boosh devotees had to prove that the show was among their top MySpace ‘friends’ in order to get a wristband for the show, with the venue running out of wristbands four and a half hours before the doors opened.

Hundreds of fans, many of them dressed as their favourite Boosh characters, were left disappointed when they arrived for the evening show and were told they would not be able to get in.

The stars of the BBC 3 show took to the stage at 10pm and performed for 75 minutes.

The act went down well with the American audience, in particular Noel Fielding who already seems to have a solid female fanbase in the US.

Among the capacity crowd inside were celebrity guests Robin Williams and Jimmy Carr.

Williams, 51, was seen laughing uproariously at the performance, in particular the final song of the show, which included the lyrics “I took a s*** on your mum, and she seemed to like it”.

Earlier in the day the cast of the show did a DVD signing at Amoeba Records to celebrate the release of the three series of the show in the USA.

Fielding and Barratt dispelled rumours that they were about to split by telling the crowd they hoped to return soon to do a full-length gig.
