Ubisoft recently announced the expansion of their multi-million selling experience franchise with a video game that will be 100% dedicated to the Black Eyed Peas. The Black Eyed Peas Experience will feature hit songs and super hip dance moves from the popular hip hop band. Fergie seems to be very excited about the game, saying “It’s a perfect fit for us. The Black Eyed Peas are bringing the party to the people.” If you find yourself always bouncing on your seat or finding the need to get up and dance when a BEP song is on, this game would be perfect for you. The game will be available for both Xbox 360 Kinect and Nintendo Wii.
The Black Eyed Peas hit the stage at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards which was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas this past Sunday. The hip hop band performed a medley of their songs “Just Can’t Get Enough” and “I Gotta Feeling”. Fergie, will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo always put on a good show but I can’t help but feel like they need to come up with some new music already. I’m just already sick of having to hear “I Gotta Feeling”. That’s just me though. Anyways, they had a great performance on the show. It definitely kept the energy up.

The Black Eyed Peas performed their latest single “Don’t Stop the Party” on the French version of X Factor earlier this week. The performance was very entertaining to watch but I think it’s really ridiculous how much their vocals are edited. Besides showing some love to the hip hop band’s French fans and supporting the latest single from their album “The Beginning”, the Black Eyed Peas also visited channel M6’s hit talent show to get the hype going for their upcoming stadium tour in France. They will play on June 22, 24 and 25 at the Stade de France in Paris.

Hip hop band Black Eyed Peas have recently announced that they plan to officially retire their 2005 hit “My Humps” and will no longer perform it live in concert. Rapper will.i.am explains “For a while, [we did] My Humps and then it got to the point where we didn’t want to play My Humps no more. You know, ’cause, ‘I met a girl down at the disco,’ I just didn’t want to say that no more, lyrically.” Or maybe the song just gets way too annoying after a while. I know that’s how I feel about it so I can’t blame them for wanting to retire it.
Lady Gaga is already breaking new records and making new landmarks on history with her latest single “Born This Way” but that doesn’t mean that other tracks sung by the princess of pop have stopped hitting milestones. “Just Dance” has officially become the second song to top the six million mark in paid downloads, following the Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling”. Imagine what those numbers would look like if no one downloaded the song illegally. If there are any naysayers left with regards to Lady Gaga and her staying power, there you have it. The singer is here to stay and here to rule.
On the big day of this year’s Super Bowl it seems that the Black Eyed Peas have decided to hold a big super-star bash, since they’re going to be performing during half-time and all that. Fergie who is a co-owner of the Miami Dolphins had this to say of the band’s party plans: “As an NFL owner and a football fan, I cannot be more excited to join forces with Sports Illustrated for the hottest party of the season. It will be the kick-off to an amazing weekend in Dallas and we can’t wait to get it started.” Well, certainly all of the big celebrities are going to be there. It doesn’t seem to be invitation based. Black Eyed Peas are probably scoping out the other NFL fans out there.
Sources are reporting that The Black Eyed Peas are set to headline the Super Bowl Half Time Show at the 2011 championship game on February 6th. The hip hop band will be the first urban music performers to play the Super Bowl since the infamous Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction in 2004. Over the past couple of years, rock stars like Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones and Prince have been given the coveted spot. But BEP seems to have planned this perfectly as the Super Bowl performance will lead up to the release of their upcoming album The Beginning.

Theres just no stopping these guys will.i.am is a freaking magician when it comes to plagiarism. The Black Eyed Peas are once again being sued for plagiarism, this time by Bryan Pringle who says that the group plagiarized his song Take a Drive for their big hit I Gotta Feeling. His lawyer had this to say on the matter: “A simple listening of the two songs will tell you that the songs are substantially similar, and that the hooks of the two songs are virtually identical in rhythm and lyrics.” Well, this is not the first time The Black Eyed Peas are being called to answer for their lack of creativity. But its no big deal for them, a settlement and thats that. They probably make more money off the track than the original artist ever dreamed of they can probably spare a few crumbs from their big table for the poor sap too. And so the industry works!
Lady Gaga has sold over 4 million digital copies of her music in the UK! That makes the princess of pop the number 1 digital selling artist across the pond. The singer broke Rihannas record which was at 2.5 million digital downloads last year. The Black Eyed Peas came in at second place to Lady Gaga as the hip hop band raked in 3.3 million digital downloads. Congratulations to Lady Gaga for once again making history and breaking another record! She is unstoppable! I cant see an end to the craze surrounding her. It just goes to show that shes not just some passing fad.

Fergie and her hubby Josh Duhamel joined her dad Patrick Ferguson at the Miami Dolphins game this past Sunday afternoon. Just last month, the 34-year old Black Eyed Peas singer and ?Nine? actress was approved by a sufficient number of owners to become a limited partner in the Dolphins organization. Fergie joins a list of celebrities who are partners including Marc Anthony and Emilio and Gloria Estefan. Unfortunately for those celebrities, the Dolphins lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 30-24. Tokio Hotel took home the “Best Group” award at the MTV European Music Awards in Berlin beating out the likes of Black Eyed Peas, Jonas Brothers, Kings of Leon and Green Day. Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav also rocked an epic performance of their international single “World Behind My Wall” complete with insane pyro and explosive stage effects. A singer and producer by the name of FrankMusik has recently accused Will.i.am of stealing his music. Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am has commended Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd for his February 2008 apology to the “stolen generations”, saying it has inspired people around the world.
“I salute … Prime Minister Rudd,? said will.i.am, who is touring in Australia. ?If it wasn’t for that I believe there would not have been that wave of conscious shifting happening and I don’t think there would be an Obama.”
The star was speaking at the opening of an art project – entitled Nomad Two Worlds – which marked the reconciliation of Australia’s Aboriginal population with white Australia.

Grammy-winning Apl.de.Ap will throw a launch party for Jeepney at the ecologically conscious ECCO nightclub in Hollywood on August 11. Apl.de.Ap and Peas members Fergie, Taboo and Will.i.am are expected to join the celebration.
“The Los Angeles-based record label is founded on the principle of giving back, to both Apl.de.Ap’s homeland of the Philippines and the global community,” Apl.de.Ap’s representatives stated.
“Jeepney Music will feature not only emerging recording artists but will also highlight the growing number of disc jockeys and collaborative artists as he continues to build his label on the forefront of the digital transformation of music.
“In an unprecedented act, Jeepney Music is calling all artists in the Los Angeles area to drop off their music demos at the event from 10pm to 12am.”
The Black Eyed Peas are being accused of plagiarizing a song. I don?t know all the details of the allegations yet but I do know that lawyers are already involved. The group?s song off of their new album ?The END?, called ?Party All the Time? is the song in question. The music is apparently a stolen sample of the song ?Mancry? from the act Freeland. According to reports, Black Eyed Peas member and producer will.i.am was at an event last year where he heard Freeland perform the song. I listened to both songs and I totally hear the similarities. I wonder what Black Eyed Peas has to say about this.

Despite putting on one of the biggest productions compared to previous seasons, American Idol season 8?s finale was down in viewership by 12% compared to last year?s finale show. That?s too bad because whoever chose to not watch missed an amazing set of performances. Performers included Queen Latifah, David Cook, Jason Mraz, Carlos Santana, Black Eyed Peas, Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart, Cyndi Lauper, Keith Urban, Steve Martin, KISS and Queen. Of course, every single one of the Top 13 was also there to perform. It was a great showcase of talent. The past, present and future of music was greatly presented in one amazing show.

Rumors are going around that Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am is going to be working with rockers U2 on their upcoming album. Kanye West actually confirmed the news on his blog saying ?Will.i.am is producing U2?s next album. I?m sure it will be dope as s? judging from the crazy beats he?s done in the past 3 years!? will.i.am has also commented on the news saying ?I would love to do something with them. If that ever happens it would be a dream come true! I went to Bono?s house. He has these summer parties and I went and had great food. It was the best. Those guys are the nicest people in the world.?
