American band Blink 182 is preparing to release the second single,”After Midnight”, from their latest album,”Neighborhoods”.
The new songs by Blink 182, ”After Midnight” was released on Tuesday, 6th of September, during Zane Lowe’s show on BBC Radio 1, informs Nme.com.
“After Midnight” follows the first single, ”Up All Night”, extracted from the ”Neighborhoods” LP. The album will be released on September 26th and will include 10 songs. The band will also release a deluxe edition of the album, which contains three additional songs.
“Neighborhoods” is the seventh album in the history of the band Blink 182 and the first released since 2003, when their successful album appeared, entitled “Blink 182”.
Check out another cut from Pitbull’s upcoming sixth studio album “Planet Pit”, which is due out on June 21st. The track is called “Come N Go”, was produced by Dr Luke, Benny Blanco and Max Martin, and features pop singer Enrique Iglesias. Pitbull once again kills it in the verses while an auto-tuned Enrique jumps into the infectious hooks. The production is so hot! But it’s not like you can expect anything less considering who produced it. With a smash like this, Pitbull will certainly have the party album of 2011. I wonder if this will be another single for the rapper. I think it should be.

Paul McCartney has just finished recording an album that’s devoted to covers of pop standards from the pre-rock years. The iconic singer worked with an orchestra to record nearly a dozen songs, including some with Diana Krall and her band. Paul explains “It’s my dad’s style of music. I’ve wanted to do that kind of thing forever, since the Beatle days. But then Rod [Stewart] went mad on it. I thought, ‘I have to wait so it doesn’t look like I’m trying to do a Rod.’ They’re just songs I admire, I’m trying to steer away from the obvious ones. It’s get-home-from-work music. You put it on and get a glass of wine.” Paul also plans on going the opposite direction and will begin work on another album with heavier rock, with hopes of working with Dave Grohl. He said “It sounds quite wacky, but it keeps it fresh. I love that – you get a crazy idea and go with it. You never know – I may run into a garage to make this other album. But it won’t be in Dave’s garage.” I can’t wait to hear this.
I was quite impressed with Kenny Chesney when his album “Hemingway’s Whiskey” hit the number 1 spot on both the Soundscan Top 200 and the Country Albums charts. Now, the country singer’s success continues as his single “Live a Little” has become his 20th number 1 on Billboard’s Country Songs airplay chart. The song also marks Kenny’s third number 1 country songs hit from “Hemingway’s Whiskey”. Congratulations to Kenny on his success! A couple of weeks ago, Kanye West announced via Twitter that his joint album with fellow rapper Jay-Z would drop on 1.11.11. The date has come and gone and there’s still no album out. Now, it looks like the album has been delayed further as Kanye went to tweet about it, saying “WATCH THE THRONE COMING IN 2 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!” With all the delays that this album has seen, it better be good. I suppose I can forgive them if they do make it good. I wasn’t exactly thrilled with their latest single “HAM”. They’re two of the biggest names in hip hop. I would hate to take that back just because of this one album.

The stars of hit TV show Glee are glum over the show’s smash hit soundtrack. For the singing high school stars claim they have been short changed by Sony Music over royalties from the No. 1 album Glee: The Music ” Journey to the Regionals. More than a million of the albums have been sold to fans but stars such as Corey Monteith and Mark Salling are grumbling they have received minimal payments from it. “I got 400 bucks from it going No. 1,” Monteith told a Washington D.C. radio show. Many of the stars are now choosing to sign with different record labels for their solo projects, including Salling and Matthew Morrison. “The Glee cast is furious because they feel they were misled by Sony,” an insider told the New York Post. “They have all complained to executive producer Ryan Murphy that they want a bigger share of the royalties. “Sony should have known better ” they kept their hands on money that could have been paid to the cast. “But by upsetting the biggest talent on TV, the label is cutting its nose off to spite its face. It is myopic, short-term thinking on their part.” Reps for Sony and Fox did not comment.
