Although Jennifer Lopez filed a $10 million lawsuit against her ex Ojani Noa, it may not be enough to keep her most private moments from going public. Ojani?s agent Ed Meyer states ?Jennifer Lopez does not want the home videos to be entered into the open court record, where the media and the public can get copies of them and watch or share them.? He entered the tapes in court this Monday. I?m not sure how well that will fare with the court order banning the videos from public eyes. Meyer even sent the Jennifer Lopez?s legal team an email detailing his plans.
Miley Cyrus? alleged stalker will not be facing any attempted stalking charges after a jury ruled that there wasn?t enough evidence to convict him. Mark McLeod was arrested twice over the summer when the Disney star was filming ?The Last Song? in Georgia. Not only did he make inappropriate comments to some of the singer/actress? fans but he also claimed that he was engaged to Miley who sent him secret messages on ?Hannah Montana?. However, the grand jury at the Chatham County State Court had the final say on what happens to him and they agreed that they couldn?t indict him due to the lack of evidence. Here?s to hoping that he doesn?t cause any more problems.
?Gossip Girl? actress Leighton Meester is determined to make a name for herself in the music industry. The aspiring singer?s official debut single ?Somebody to Love? is already out and it features R&B singer Robin Thicke. I like the Blondie vibe that the song is giving off but it?s far from great. It?s good but it could be loads better. And why would she want to do another collaboration after her summer hit with Cobra Starship on ?Good Girls Go Bad?? Leighton should have done her own thing and showcased more of herself as a solo artist. Big names could just overshadow her.
Just last month, it was reported that Lil Wayne became a father by his baby mama, actress Lauren London, who gave birth to a baby boy. That was the rapper?s third kid. He already had one with his ex-wife and some college student. However, it was also reported back in June that singer Nivea Hamilton was rumored to be pregnant with Lil Wayne?s kid too. Months later, the rapper has confirmed the news during a BBC interview where Lil Wayne said that he and Nivea are expecting a baby boy. That kid will be the fourth for the rapper. Someone needs to learn how to use a condom.

The Broadway adaptation of ?Spider Man? is having difficulty getting into the Great White Way but that?s not stopping U2?s Bono from giving away details about what the show is supposed to be like, including describing what kind of character the superhero would be. The singer said ?Our Peter Parker is much more?not Kurt Cobain, but a kind of slacker, a more kind of shy sort of guy.? Bono also said that the show will touch both opera and rock n roll. It?s not surprising considering it?s a musical of a different kind. What is surprising though is Bono?s praise for actress Evan Rachel Wood, saying ?She’s the greatest actor of her generation, she’s the one to watch. She happens to sing like a bird, it’s like a true voice. She’s a very pure spirit and a very bright mind and she brings the part of MJ to life really.?
Leighton Meester hit up the Katy Perry Concert at New York City?s Hammerstein Ballroom last week. The 23-year old ?Gossip Girl? actress, who was accompanied by her younger brother Lex and boyfriend Sebastian Stan, arrived late to the concert because she had to work. She had actually arrived just in time for the last three songs. Leighton only stayed backstage though. Cobra Starship opened up for Katy and Leighton actually wanted to perform with them during ?Good Girls Gone Bad? but work got in the way. That would have been cool if she made it on time but we all know that work comes first before some fun.
Land Of The Lost star Anna Friel has admitted that she twice turned down a recording contract with Simon Cowell.
Friel, 32, found fame in British soap Brookside and has gone on to win international fame after playing the lead role of Chuck, in US sitcom Pushing Daisies.
She is currently starring in new movie Land Of The Lost alongside Will Ferrell.
Friel revealed that American Idol boss Simon Cowell twice offered her a recording contract, but she refused.
“He [Cowell] offered it to me twice. I was about 19 and he’d heard me sing. I’d just left Brookside and was very flattered, but I wouldn’t be here now if I’d said yes,? she said.
“You can either say, ‘I want to be a singer and I’m willing to be moulded when I sign one of those contracts, or I can keep the acting path ongoing.
?It might take me a lot longer to make the money he’s offering or to create that kind of fame, but I’ll have longevity.’
?I bumped into him in New York about five years ago, and he said: ‘Well done, Ms Friel, clever girl. You said no.’”

Jennifer Lopez is currently busting her butt working on her upcoming film ?The Back Up Plan?. Apparently, that?s not all the 39-year old actress is up to. The actress and singer is already working on her next album which could be out as early as this year. She recently told MTV News about it saying ?I worked on music while I was pregnant and while I was at home, but now to really get into it and focus on it and to finish the project is exciting. You can?t help but put not only your kids into it, but to put anything you are going through in your music. That?s the only thing you can really sing or write is stuff that you know. The more music you make and the more that you get into it and the more you write, the more you realize that?s all you can write.?
Miley Cyrus attended the 2009 MTV Movie Awards which was held at the Gibson Amphitheatre this past Sunday in Universal City, California. The 16-year old ?Hannah Montana? star snagged herself one of those golden pop corn trophies for her hit song ?The Climb? from ?Hannah Montana: The Movie? which won Best Song From a Movie. It?s pretty clear that tweenies had a majority vote in the awards ceremony considering there were songs in that category that was much more deserving of the win. Oh well, congratulations to Miley on the win regardless. It will probably be the only award she would win anyway.
