Pitbull had posted a 3-minute interview on his official website PlanetPit.com where he shares his thoughts on the lawsuit that Lindsay Lohan filed against him. The actress is suing the rapper over a lyric in his hit song “Give Me Everything” which, according to Lindsay, disparages her name. He didn’t really have to explain himself but my hat’s off to him for doing so. Pitbull said “When I mention Lindsay Lohan in the record it’s really a positive message. When I say I got it locked up, if you play at the park, if you from the neighborhood, when they say you got it locked up, that means you run that area.” He even invited Lindsay to come with him to the VMAs where he will be hitting the stage with Ne-Yo to perform the song.

The official second single to come off of Selena Gomez’s upcoming third album “When the Sun Goes Down”, which is out on June 28th, has been revealed to be “Love You Like a Love Song”. The Rock Mafia-produced track sees the 18-year old pop singer/actress return to her dance influenced ways from “A Year Without Rain”. If you loved the track “Round and Round” from that album, you’ll love “Love You Like a Love Song”. It’s catchy, sassy, well-produced and will make you bop around. Selena is bringing her A-game with this new album of hers. I’m not the biggest fan of hers but even I can admit that.

Beyonce is featured on the cover of the July issue of Dazed & Confused magazine. The summer music special features the 29-year old R&B singer/actress in what the magazine calls “a scorching hot trailer park fantasy”. When asked about taking her little time away from the music industry, Beyonce said “I needed some time to live. I’ve been signed to the same label since I was 12 years old and never had more than a month and a half off since I was 13. I’ve worked so hard for so many years and just felt like, ‘Well, why not?’” She definitely deserved that break but it’s also great to see and hear her new music.

Moby is back with the music video for his song “The Day”. The track is the first single to come off of the singer’s upcoming album “Destroyed”, which is due out on May 16th. In the video, the very beautiful actress Heather Graham stars as an angelic nurse. The visual is also loaded with some very spiritual images depicting the battle between good and evil for a dying woman’s soul. That’s pretty deep. I usually don’t understand any of Moby’s videos but this one is definitely an interesting watch. Check out the video and tell me what you think of it.

Amber Riley recently took to her webcam to cover Adele’s new single “Someone Like You”. The “Glee” actress also took to her Twitter to express her thoughts on the British singer and her song, saying “I don’t care who sings it, NO ONE can sing an Adele song like ADELE, she is perfect but I’m glad you guys liked my version too….” Amber isn’t the only “Glee” star to cover the likes of Adele though. Last night’s episode of the hit TV show saw Gwyneth Paltrow take on “Turning Tables”. The Foo Fighters were the music guests on this past weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, which saw Oscar award winning actress Helen Mirren as host. The American rock band took the stage to perform some tracks from their album “Wasting Light”, namely the lead single “Rope” and “Walk”. It was a solid effort and it looks like their appearance on SNL has paid off as their album has since gotten back in the top 10 on the US iTunes. I’ve always been a fan of the Foo Fighters so I’m really happy that they’re garnering success for their current record.

Miley Cyrus poked fun at herself and a few other headline-making celebrities during her opening monologue on Saturday Night Live this past weekend. The Disney singer/actress addressed her previous controversies singing “There’s a photo of me being kissed by some dude and [photographer] Annie Leibovitz trying to get me nude. For those of you who think that’s very crude, I’m sorry that I’m not perfect.” In another verse, she pokes fun at Lindsay Lohan and Tiger Woods, singing “I never stole a necklace or got a DUI. Never cheated on my wife like that golfer guy. So what you can see a little boob from the side? I’m sorry I’m not perfect.” Kristen Wiig and Bobby Moynihan also chimed in, saying “You didn’t make a dirty tape and pass it along. You didn’t text a photo of your dong.” To which Miley replied “Don’t both of these things seem worse than a bong?” Epic. She also did an impersonation of Justin Bieber in a skit.
Grammy and Oscar award-winner Jennifer Hudson recently premiered the official music video for her latest single “Where You At”. The R Kelly-written ballad is the first offering from the singer/actress’ upcoming sophomore album called “I Remember Me”, which is due to come out on March 22. At first I just thought that it was a pretty song but I really fell in love with it after seeing Jennifer’s live performances of it. Those diva notes are no joke. As for the visual, it’s cool. It’s a bit boring at some points but it’s well shot and the locations were amazing.

Fox really wants all “Glee” fans to watch the Super Bowl this year as it has recently been announced that actress Lea Michele will be singing “America the Beautiful” during the pre-game festivities of this year’s big event. Following the TV star’s lead will be pop singer Christina Aguilera who will sing the National Anthem. It sounds like a diva off to me. I wonder whose set of pipes will grab the hearts of the nation more. I think it’s a pretty tough call but if Christina messes up, she’s going to live with it for the rest of her life.
Sources are saying that Miley Cyrus handlers knew all about the bong video weeks ago and did everything they could to bury it, including buying off several students. According to sources, a college student contacted one of the Disney actress/singers reps to ask if they were willing to make an exchange for their copy of the video. Money was discussed but in the end, they settled for an exchange of hardware an old MacBook Pro for a brand new one. After that, another student made a similar trade-off for another copy of the video. There could be numerous other trade-offs that arent known but we all know that in the end, the video still came out.
Miley Cyrus was originally set to perform the Poison hit Every Rose has Its Thorn at the 2010 American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles this past Sunday. However, the Disney singer/actress made a last minute switch and performed her song Love and Forgiveness off of her album Cant Be Tamed instead. I wonder if its because of the reports that her parents are actually going through a divorce because her mom allegedly had an affair with Poison rock star Bret Michaels. Its a big possibility. In any case, Miley did well on her performance. Im glad to see that she managed to keep herself together through these tough times.

Taylor Momsen recently had an interview with Bullet Magazine where the Gossip Girl actress and Pretty Reckless lead singer talked about her music career and life on the road. The 17-year old said Well on stage, Im performing. Its another extension of myself. I mean, I dont walk out of my bedroom in the morning with stripper heels on. I see myself as totally insane. Im totally moody. Of course. And Im totally out of my mind. And Im always myself. And that totally didnt make any sense to me. I dont even think that Taylor actually answered the question.
After inviting The 4Troops, a singing group of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, to join Jessica Simpson onstage for her PBS Christmas special in New York City this past Thursday, the vets ended up getting snubbed because of their wardrobe. A source said Jessica’s dad, Joe Simpson, effectively kicked them off the show because he didn’t like what they were wearing. They were in camo pants and blazers, the same outfits they wore to sing for Gen. David Petraeus on the USS Intrepid. They were told they couldn’t perform unless they were wearing tuxedos. She should be ashamed of herself! But the failed country singer and actress told a different story. Jessicas rep said The song was cut due to time. Jessica wasn’t even aware. She is wholeheartedly devoted to the troops. She just returned from the Persian Gulf where she performed for and met with service men and women stationed at several different locations. The military was the source of inspiration for her entire Christmas album, so much so that she recorded a duet for the album with a USS Harry Truman sailor. Whatever.
Taylor Momsens band mate Ben Philips of the Pretty Reckless recently revealed that the precocious Gossip Girl actress turned rock singer loves to play with fire literally. He said Taylor loves setting things on fire, so this is great. Taylor thinks we’re some rock ‘n’ roll badasses. In the studio, there was this pit where the owner would burn stuff. We’d burn old keyboards, computers, stuff them full of TNT and set them on fire. Taylor loves fire. I shouldn’t say this. One morning, Taylor got into the studio really early – she’d just had her dog neutered and brought in the bits. Which she then burned. We were grossed out. It sounds to me like shes got a lot of issues.

Taylor back peddled and said that she was misquoted. She said [I was] arguing the difference between rock vs. pop, and that its a very pop-oriented world at the moment, and that there is no rock. And people that dress [like rock stars] and have guitars in their music thats the closest thing audiences have to rock right now, and were looking to bring back a real rock band. I wasnt insulting Rihanna. Rihannas great. Assuming youre a rock star and implying that youre part of the only real rock band is a little presumptuous.
Lea Michele recently had an interview where she got to talk about makeup, her stand out moment on Glee and who would be a perfect addition to the hit Fox TV series. The actress said Justin Timberlake would be the perfect Glee guest star: He sings, he dances, and hes hilarious. Producers are said to be saving the singers appearance and music for the much-anticipated Super Bowl episode. Lea also mentions how singing Dont Rain on My Parade was her best moment on the show because its her favorite song and felt that it was a dream come true to get the chance to perform it.

In the accompanying interview, the 41-year old actress/singer talked about her real life, parts of her past she wishes werent public, and her new album. When asked why theres a question mark in her new album title Love?, JLo said For me, love is the never-ending question. Its confusing. Its the answer, but its also inundated with contradictions and complications. Its about years of experience in different relationships, and kind of the culmination of that, and how even to this day, Im still learning. That was pretty deep.

The former Gossip Girl actress turned lead singer of a punk rock band said Im psyched to be the face of Material Girl! For one, its Madonna so you know its gonna be cool and working with Madonna and Lola has been an unbelievable experience. They have such great sense of style, each brought their personal touch to the styling for the campaign. The line will launch exclusively in Macys stores across the country and on Macys.com on August 3.
The new queen of Disney TV, Selena Gomez, has reportedly lost her voice and subsequently has had to cancel a few of her concerts. Fans of the actress/singer in Delaware and Ohio who were hoping to see Selena live were disappointed to find out that she wont be able to perform at their state fairs due to some strained vocal chords. Unfortunately for the fans in Delaware, arrangements could not be made to reschedule and will instead be offered refunds and a free concert from AllStar Weekend. Those in Ohio were luckier as the state fair officials were able to reschedule the show for November. Get well soon Selena!
Her new music cant be tamed and apparently, neither can her film career. Its been a while but Miley Cyrus is at it again and talking more crap about how shes an adult now and needs to take on more adults roles. The singer/actress said The next film I’m doing is not for the [Hannah Montana] audience. But that is why I did the last season, for my young fans. I want the fans that have grown up with me from 16-26 who will respond to older material. I have to choose scripts that are right for someone who is 18 because that is me. It’s very different going from a show with a huge audience and fan base to somethingindependent. But I’m excited to work on a film that is going to touch people. It’s edgy and different and I don’t know how the fans will react, but it’s something I can relate to.
Kristen Stewart recently had an interview where she talked about the music she listened to in order to prepare her for her role as the Twilight sagas Bella Swan. Im shocked at what the pathetic actress said. Kristen said I just listened to my normal music. Bella’s less tortured. She’s less conflicted. I mean it’s the most she’s conflicted about the love triangle [but] that happens sort of at the end. But I don’t know, ‘The Climb’ is my theme song and I’m sticking to it. Its only been a few months since the actress and A-Rod broke up but sources say that this new relationship is getting serious and that the couple plans to make the relationship public at Britains Glastonbury festival later this month. A source said Matt has been over to America to hang out with Kate. Things are going so well, Kate was planning to fly out to the UK to hang out with Matt at the festival. She wants to watch the band from the side of the stage and meet his pals. It makes me wonder if Kate had anything to do with Matts split with fianc Gaia Polloni.
Demi Lovato has told sources that she thinks that Miley Cyrus is the sweetest thing in the world. The Disney princess/actress/singer has said that because Miley has been in the spotlight longer than I haveI go to her. Demi even admits to texting Miley even when shes crying and stressed out, adding She’ll reply back, ‘All right, here’s what you do.’ She’s the sweetest thing in the world. I get how you can look up to someone or ask for help because theyve been around longer but I highly doubt that Miley is the most competent one out there to approach. Heres to hoping that Demi wouldnt get led down the wrong path because of Miley Cyrus.

If anything comes up that I don?t feel comfortable doing, I can say, ?Can we go in another direction?? They know what they?re doing far better than I do, so I didn?t even get into the musical end of it.?
Jennifer Hudson was on Good Morning America yesterday in New York City to talk about being the new spokesperson for Weight Watchers, her mission for women to stay fit and also revealed the secrets of her weight loss. The Grammy award winning singer and Oscar winning actress said ?I was very comfortable with myself before. I have a child now and I want to set a great example for him. Make better life choices, health choices, and just create a good example for him growing up.? Let?s just hope that she doesn?t lose herself when she loses the weight like a lot of others do.

JLo may be a lot of things but I don?t think she?s Oscar-worthy. She should work on salvaging her music career before she aims that high.
Fergie and her hubby Josh Duhamel joined her dad Patrick Ferguson at the Miami Dolphins game this past Sunday afternoon. Just last month, the 34-year old Black Eyed Peas singer and ?Nine? actress was approved by a sufficient number of owners to become a limited partner in the Dolphins organization. Fergie joins a list of celebrities who are partners including Marc Anthony and Emilio and Gloria Estefan. Unfortunately for those celebrities, the Dolphins lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 30-24. How sad is it that the team with the most famous supporters is the team which absolutely sucks? You have to wonder if they made the right choice.
