American TV hosts could not contain their excitement about X Factor’s Danyl Johnson as they played his stunning audition on their show.
Johnson got his own segment on NBC’s Today Show, in which he was compared to overnight British singing sensation Susan Boyle.
Johnson wowed judge Simon Cowell and has since become an internet sensation after his audition was posted on YouTube.
The Today Show is now reportedly trying to land Johnson for a performance on its hugely popular morning show.
“He does seem to have great range, but he also has this incredible presence,” said co-host Matt Lauer.
“If you want to go online and watch his whole audition, it is just extraordinary, his presence onstage and how he captivated the audience and judges.”
Johnson was hailed by Cowell as the best first audition he had ever seen when he performed a rendition of a Beatles track, With A Little Help From My Friends.
Now Johnson is being tipped as a favourite to win the talent show.
Michael Jackson’s doctor has posted a bizarre video on YouTube – speaking for the first time to tell family and friends he is ‘fine’.
Dr Conrad Murray is currently under investigation over The King of Pop’s sudden death on 25 June.
Dressed in a suit and tie, Murray protests his innocence in the one-minute video, insisting: “I have done all I could do. I told the truth and I have faith that the truth will prevail.”
He reveals on the video that because of the ongoing police investigation that he is afraid to call friends or family – or even use his email – and has posted the video on YouTube because he is unable to contact them personally.
Dr Murray says in the video: “I want to thank all of my patients and friends who have sent such kind emails, letters and messages…
“Because of all that is going on, I am afraid to return phone calls or use my email, therefore I recorded this video to let all of you know that I have been receiving your messages.
“I haven’t to been able to thank you personally, which you know is not normal for me.?
So far, less than 250 people have viewed the video on YouTube.

Susan Boyle may not be able to complete the national Britain?s Got Talent arena tour as she seems to have cracked under the pressure of intense media coverage. After thousands of tickets were sold and 7 additional tour dates, promoters fear that ticketholders may want their money back now that the YouTube sensation may not perform. A source says ?We are working on a day-by-day basis here. This is about someone’s health and future.? Some have criticized the talent show for not taking better care of Susan and perhaps some others, saying ?There’s a need to look after people properly around the intense process.?

Britain?s Got Talent runner up Susan Boyle was admitted to a London clinic this past Sunday, a day after her shocking loss on the show. The YouTube sensation is said to be suffering from exhaustion. One of the show?s judges, Piers Morgan, talked about the singer on a Brit TV show saying ?Nobody has had to put up with the kind of attention Susan has had. Nobody could have predicted it. It has been crazy, she has gone from anonymity to being the most downloaded woman in history.? I would have gone crazy if that much pressure was on me. I wish that Susan get better soon and show the world just how big a star she truly is.
Susan Boyle captured the attention of millions of TV and YouTube viewers around the world when she first performed ?I Dreamed a Dream? in her Britain?s Got Talent audition. In the finals that went on this past Saturday, Susan once again hoped to wow the crowd by singing the same song from ?Les Miserables?. Prior to the show, the 48-year old unemployed Scottish singer was favoured to win. However, when the results were announced, Susan was beat out by dance troupe Diversity. The judges were apparently divided in their opinion and chose the street-dance act over Susan, who took second place. Diversity won 100,000 pounds ($159,000) and will perform for Queen Elizabeth II as part of the Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium in December. Don?t be sad for Susan though as reports are saying there are a lot of things being offered to her right now.

A mere two years ago, Esm?e Denters was just a pancake house waitress with a webcam and a dream. An aspiring singer who fell in love with her father’s Stevie Wonder albums as a child, Esm?e was 17 when she began posting videos of herself on YouTube singing her favorite hits by Beyonc?, Alicia Keys, P!ink, and Natasha Bedingfield.”I had seen all these videos of amateur singers, which gave me the idea,” she says. “I was just interested in what other people thought of my voice.” Within nine months, Esm?e’s videos had racked up 21 million views, and she became the number one most-subscribed musician in the history of the popular video-sharing website.
Esm?e’s clips soon caught the attention of Justin Timberlake – one of her musical idols – who was drawn to her silky, soulful voice, natural charisma and songwriting talent. He then signed her to his label Tenman Records, an imprint of Interscope, and began executive producing and co-producing the majority of her debut album. They lined up an impressive list of noted songwriters and producers to collaborate on the project including Polow Da Don (Usher, Ciara), Stargate (Rihanna, Ne-Yo), OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder (Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield), and Toby Gad (Beyonc?, Fergie). The result is an edgy, soulful pop-R&B set that Esm?e says truly reflects who she is as a person.
Relatability was something that was important to Esm?e on her debut outing, which is why she was thrilled for the opportunity to co-write the majority of the songs. Her first single, “Outta Here,” sends a message of female empowerment through a hybrid of urban beats, pop lyrics and rock attitude. Sneak a peek into the studio to learn more about the Dutch beauty when she recorded the track with Justin Timberlake and Polow Da Don.
Hollywood hair metal dreamers Steel Panther have launched an all out attack on the pop mainstream with their newest video ?Death to All But Metal?. Asserting their alpha male dominance with plenty of hairspray, spandex, and sick stage moves, Steel Panther have taken shots against anyone NOT flying the hair metal flag. Kanye West, Madonna, and 50-Cent are among the superstars targeted by lead singer Michael Starr?s wrath in the clip.
?Death to All But Metal? is an homage to Van Halen?s classic ?Hot For Teacher? video and also features a cameo by smart mouth comedienne Sarah Silverman as the school principal.
Steel Panther?s new album, Feel The Steel, hits stores on 6/9 (how fitting is that date?!)

Check out the new song by Kate Voegele, ?Manhattan From The Sky,? now available at iTunes. The track was featured on last night?s episode of One Tree Hill and is one of the several shiny new gems featured on her upcoming release, A Fine Mess, due out in May. Voegele, who plays the spunky Mia on the popular teen drama, calls the placement of ?Manhattan From The Sky? ?the most amazing set-up ever.? “The coolest thing is how they worked the song into the show so that it enhanced the scene, and how the scene enhanced the song.?
She says the idea for the piano-driven pop number came to her while sitting in a plane, 30,000 feet above New York City. “I was just thinking about how Manhattan looks like a little piece of Lego,” Voegele recalls, “but once you’re inside, it’s totally crazy and messy and there’s a wonderful chaos going on all around the city.”
In case you missed the episode last night, check out a montage piece of the show featuring footage of her character Mia?s budding romance with Chase set to the music of ?Manhattan From The Sky.? Voegele even took to her video blog yesterday straight from Wilmington, NC to talk about how excited she was about the song?s debut on the show. Watch her update on MySpace.com/kateontour.
