B.o.B has premiered the music video for his new single “Magic”, B.o.B collaborate with Rivers Cuomo who is a member of band Weezer, Magic is third official single from the rapper’s debut album “B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray”

Weezer has announced plans for a retro tour where the band will spend two nights in each city. The first night, they will play the entire ‘Blue’ album, and the second night, they will play the whole ‘Pinkerton’ album. Lead singer Rivers Cuomo said “We’re just running it by promoters right now to see if there’s sufficient interest in the markets to do something like that, and if they’re on board, it’s gonna happen. The fan response has been incredible so far for the idea. And, if they want to, they can contact their local promoter and tell them to make it happen.” I’ll be shocked if this doesn’t go down.
Weezer was recently the talk of Twitter world. The first big announcement regarding the band came from Brett Gurewitz, the head of independent label Epitaph, who tweeted “Rivers, Pat, Brian and Scott, Welcome to Epitaph homies! FT=W=.” Soon after that announcement, lead singer Rivers Cuomo tweeted “Hey, Weezer is happy to announce our signing to @epitaphrecs and release of new album ‘Hurley’ on Sept. 14.” Along with the band’s upcoming release, Epitaph will soon be releasing new albums from Bad Religion and Social Distortion as well. Weezer seems to be in great company over there. All that great music! I’m so excited!
After 16 years with the label, the boys of Weezer have left Geffen Records and plan to start producing their own music all on their own, also known as being indie. What that means, even the band doesn?t know, but bassist Scott Shriner told Billboard Magazine that they are definitely working on new music and are scheming something big for fans. One of the things that they have in store is a collection of B-sides and rare recordings the guys have had over the years. That sounds like a great way to recycle. Weezer?s tour was put on hiatus after lead singer Rivers Cuomo got injured in a tour bus accident that left him with a punctured lung. The singer recently took to his Twitter to let everyone know that he was coming back. He said ?Doctor says my lung is all healed – cleared to fly to Florida for the show. Turns out I broke 5 ribs!!! RC.? Rivers was spotted limping around LAX to make his flight to Florida. He and the rest of the band have kicked their tour back in gear after having played at the Florida State University on Wednesday night.
Rivers Cuomo of Weezer has revealed that he will be working with Katy Perry on her next album saying that they will be writing together this week and that he?s very excited about it. Katy herself has just headed back in the studio last week to start working on the new album which the singer said is going to be very different from her smash record ?One of the Boys?. She said ?I’m kind of thinking I want to do my record like a mesh between ‘Lovefool’ by the Cardigans and ['The Sign'] by Ace of Base. I want to make songs that people want to hold hands and roller-skate to. I’m not looking to alienate my fans, but I can’t be that grown-up Shirley Temple girl wearing the stupid strawberry in her hair all the time?because I’d kill myself or someone else would for me. So I’m really excited to always be evolving and changing ? with my look, with my music, it keeps me entertained as well.?
