It looks like The Killers? front man is getting a bit bored with his band and he?s thinking about trying something different. So Brandon Flowers is going to go solo and on the band?s official site any fans can subscribe to a newsletter that follows the evolution of Brandon Flowers? upcoming album. Considering it?s on the band?s website, they?re probably still going to be playing together as well, which brings in mind the following question: what?s Brandon Flowers going to do for a solo album? Play all of the instruments himself? Because getting session musicians would really be utterly pointless?
It seems the band has suddenly cancelled their Asian tour without any real explanations. There is only a very straightforward statement of The Killers? official site that reads as follows: ?The Killers have been forced to cancel their appearances in Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong, Manila, Tokyo and Seoul due to unforeseen circumstances. The band deeply apologizes to their fans and hope to reschedule their shows in these cities soon. At this time the bands Australian appearances remain scheduled as planned.? Maybe the band found out something they didn?t like about the cities they were supposed to visit? Or maybe The Killers don?t think that videotaping any of their Asian appearances is worth a DVD so why go there anyway. ?Unforeseen circumstances? can mean so many things.
It seems that Brandon Flowers has found an interesting way to promote The Killers? performances. The show they did at the Royal Albert Hall will be playing in theatres this November. Since when do concerts get to be played as movies? Is The Killers? fan base that spread out that they couldn?t make the show so they have to play it in theatres? Aren?t the usual DVD?s and whatnot working any more for the fans? Have people become bored of their home cinemas? But hey, maybe if it?s in 3-D? then we?re talking! Then it would probably be worth spending money to see a recording of The Killers playing.

The Killers star Brandon Flowers has said he tries to “stay away” from fame but he believes fame may have influenced their latest album Day & Age.
Brandon, 28, is the frontman of the Las Vegas-based band and he tries to live his life out of the public eye.
He said to Paper magazine: “I try to stay away from the stuff – though I’m sure it’s made its way in there – ’cause a lot of people aren’t going to identify with that.
“I don’t want it to be about, specifically, being too successful or having any kind of fame. I still take out the trash and vacuum, I change my baby’s diapers. I think we’re pretty solid.”

The Killers’ frontman Brandon Flowers said that he wanted the band’s shows to become more Las Vegas.
He said: ?We had met Jimmy before, at a Comic Relief gig, then we bumped into him again at a party a couple of weeks ago.
?We were just throwing ideas around and having a comedian as part of the show sounded like a Las Vegas thing to do ? it used to be common in the Sixties and Seventies.
?Jimmy seemed to like it so we are giving it a go.?

The band recently related a funny, albeit absurd, incident that occurred when they were on their way to a performance in Glastonbury in 2005. The band?s drummer, Ronnie Vanucci, relates: “The most ridiculous incident we’ve had was probably when we played Glastonbury in 2005 – which, up to that point, was the biggest show of our careers. On the way to the site, we stopped off to get some food at a service station. About 45 minutes after getting back on the road, we realized that we’d left Dave behind. His wallet and his phone were still in his bunk, so he had nothing.” And that wasn?t the end of it, Ronnie Vanucci apparently got afflicted with some sort of food poisoning. The Killers eventually made the show possible, but Ronnie Vanucci kept throwing up between songs. That must have been the curse Dave Keuning spattered when he realized he had been left behind and it most likely materialized and haunted only Ronnie Vanucci.

In an interview where he admitted to having fantasies about beating up their drummer, The Killers lead singer, Brandon Flowers, also admitted to a strange fear he had as a child which has spawned a bit of a discrimination technique today: he does not like bearded men because he used to be afraid of them as a child. He said: I have no idea where the fear came from. Maybe from thinking they were trying to hide themselves. When I was six or seven years old, if I saw a man with a beard I’d cling to my mother. I was just convinced they were going to take me away.” I want you to look at the picture and ask yourself a logical question: but wait, doesn?t Brandon Flowers have a beard? Or by bearded men does he mean the sailor-like bearded men who haven?t shaved since they left home at 16? Still it is a strange little irony.

The Killers? front man Brandon Flowers has a new interview with Spin magazine where he opens up about being a Mormon rock star. He said ?I don’t know why I’m coming to terms with this right now, but in the last few months?I get asked about it a lot. If I were Catholic, no one would bat an eye. ?People look at me like I’m an alien when they ask about Mormonism. It’s there in my music. It’s always been there. It’s obviously, it’s, um, it’s unavoidable.? You just can?t escape the third degree. And he hasn?t done anything! It?s not like he?s done anything like what Catholic Katy Perry did singing songs about lesbian tendencies.
