By now, everyone knows that the Adam Lambert song that leaked last week is actually a couple of years old. It turns out that the American Idol runner up was looking for quick money back then and lent his voice to some songs to pay the bills. The singer said ?Back in 2005 when I was a struggling artist, I was hired as a studio singer to lend my vocals to tracks written by someone else. I was broke at the time and this was my chance to make a few bucks, so I jumped at the opportunity to record for my first time in a professional studio. The work I did back then in no way reflects the music I am currently in the studio working on. I’m thrilled to be working with some of today’s hottest songwriters and producers and can’t wait for people to hear what my music really sounds like.?
It has recently been reported that some ?new? material from Chris Brown leaked onto the internet recently. The general belief is that the material in question is about the rapper?s recent events with his former girlfriend Rihanna. However, his record company says this is not the case as they released the following statement in regards to the so-called new Chris Brown tracks: “There are several old demos circulating that are being falsely promoted as new material from Chris.” It looks like somebody isn?t too happy about how the whole trial thing went for Chris Brown and is trying to bring a bit more to the sentence.
It seems like no one is safe from getting their albums leaked on the net. Kelly Clarkson just suffered the same fate last week and now, she?s joined by the iconic rock band U2. The Irish band?s ?No Line on the Horizon? has leaked, just a week before its official March 3rd release. Apparently, Universal Music Australia?s getmusic.com.au was responsible for putting the album up for sale for a hot minute. A U2 fan site grabbed it up and now the album in on the internet for everyone to steal. After hearing their first single, I already had my doubts. Hearing the rest of the album just cemented them. It?s not worth the money, trust me.
The new Kelly Clarkson album has just leaked on the internet in its entirety. While that may come off as bad news, that?s where it ends. Everything else is good news after that. The great news is that the album is really good. I love it a whole lot even after just listening through it one full time. The whole thing is great! Almost every song has the potential to be a massive single for the original American Idol. That makes it official. Kelly Clarkson is back and she?s back with a vengeance! Congrats! I bet that the leak will even help her sell more albums rather than make her lose money.
3 Doors Down have just leaked some behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot for their single, ?It?s Not My Time.? The clip features interviews with the Mississippi hard rockers and director Shaun Silva along with extra footage from the shoot. The single is currently the #1 song on the iTunes Rock charts. While Kelly Clarkson is busy performing at the Palladium in Cologne, Germany on Thursday, 4 possible tracks from the American Idol alum?s upcoming album have been posted and shared on internet forums and sites. The singer is said to release a pop album slated to drop in stores later this year with songs selected by Clive Davis and his team. That?s too bad for Kelly, having songs leaked months in advance of the album release. But on a good note, at least she can get feedback on what would sell on the market and she could change those 4 songs if they weren?t received well.
