Michael says that the rapper took selections for his Do it All album without his permission to use on his track Flashbacks. He is also suing rappers Murs and 9th Wonder for the same thing. He is also requesting that all the defendants to stop manufacturing, distributing and selling the works further. Cant we all just get along and agree to not steal?

Snoop Dogg Shocked About Festival Ban

Ξ June 24th, 2010 | → 0 Comments | ∇ Concert, Snoop Dogg |

Snoop Doggs reps are saying that the rapper was shocked after he found out that he was dropped from the Parkpop festival in The Netherlands. The festivals organizers said that they were looking for an act that would match the open and friendly character of the concert and apparently, Snoop didnt cut it. The rappers camp is saying that he has played these gigs many times before and theyre shocked that he got banned. His manager wrote in a statement Snoop Dogg is astonished by the decision of the Mayor of The Hague, a town in the south of Holland, to not allow him to perform at the free festival, Parkpop. Theres been much speculation that, given the enormous response by Snoops fans to the free festival, the local authorities would not be able to provide sufficient security. Mojo, the largest concert promoter in Holland says, ‘We have never had any issues with Snoop, who has played magnificent shows at many of the festivals we promote such as Lowlands, North Sea Jazz and at several other promoted shows by Mojo.’ Snoop is a mainstay at music festivals all over the world and has performed at all of these without incident.

Ξ March 19th, 2010 | → 0 Comments | ∇ Snoop Dogg |

The promoters of the Glastonbury this summer are looking to pick up Snoop Dogg to be a part of the festival. If the rapper does decide to sign on, he?ll be joining a bill of some other big stars, including the likes of U2. I guess it was just in time for the folks at Glastonbury that Snoop is finally allowed entry into the UK. I wonder what made them decide that they wanted Snoop on board for the music fest. It?s shaping up to be one eclectic mix of artists. So are you planning on catching the show or not?

Snoop Dogg can have tea in London once more

Ξ March 6th, 2010 | → 0 Comments | ∇ Snoop Dogg |

After being banned from the UK for an incident at Heathrow airport in 2006, it looks like Snoop Dogg?s lawyers have managed to regain him the privilege of drinking tea in London and all of the other fun stuff he would?ve liked to do in the UK. Snoop Dogg has been banned from the country by the government for three years now, but his legal representatives managed to overturn that with the help of his coaching record and the appearances he has had on family shows. Who would?ve thought Snoop Dogg had such a good track record? maybe the old dog has changed his ways, even though that would be a blatant violation of the age-old expression ?You can?t teach an old dog new tricks.?
