Jay Sean is back with a new single called “Hit the Lights” which features rapper Lil Wayne. The song is a definite club banger. The J-Remy and Bobbygass-produced track will officially be released in the UK on February 8th. Jay’s new studio album “Freeze Time” will hit stores two weeks later on February 22nd. I think this song is going to kill on the radio. The singer’s latest track needs to get to number one because I think it’s miles better than “2012”. But if he’s planning to release this in the US, he better ask for some help with Lil Wayne if he wants to score another number one on Billboard’s Hot 100.

Jennifer Lopez recently gave Ryan Seacrest the go signal to premiere her new single “On the Floor”. As announced, this is the final version of the RedOne-produced track and I’m glad to say that it’s so much better than the leaked demo. There’s more of JLo in the intro and rapper Pitbull’s minute long verse was divided into two parts, one at the beginning and another to close the song. The beat is also neater along with some improvement on the pop singer’s vocals. Overall, this version sounds and feels hotter. Now that the song is on US radio, I wonder how long it will take for her to perform it on American Idol.

Chris Brown released a song this past Friday called Where Do We Go from Here via his official Twitter. The Jim Jonsin-produced track features rapper Pitbull. All I can say about it is that I absolutely love it! The song has an electro dance vibe that screams hit. Pitbull is actually in charge of the verses while Chris takes over for the choruses. Its a great effort that I hope to see on the R&B singers upcoming album FAME. However, it seems like its just a buzz record to increase the hype for Chris new music. I cant help but say thanks though for giving out such a great tune.

An unreleased track of Eminems has found its way online. The track is called Cocaine and it features the vocals of R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan. This collaboration was part of the recording sessions for the rappers Recovery album but it missed the final cut. It is now thought that the song will be used on a future re-release of the LP. Its a great song that both of the artists killed on. I never thought that they would actually collaborate but Ive learned to never say never. However, I dont see this song getting the single treatment though. It deserves to be part of an album but I dont think its strong enough to warrant single status.

Jamie Foxxs music video for his new single Fall for Your Type recently debuted on BET. The video shows the singer going through the ups and downs in his relationship. I think its ok but perhaps the pace is too slow. I guess it was done to fit the songs vibe. The song is a ballad with a deep message so I think Jamie played his role pretty well. This collaboration with Drake becomes the third official single from the singer/actors upcoming studio album Best Night of My Life which hits stores on December 21st. While I do like the full R&B side to Jamies music, I dont think it will do so well due to lack of hype for his new CD.

Michael Jacksons first posthumous LP Michael leaked on the internet recently and with it, one of the most anticipated songs to listen to. Im talking about the collaboration that the King of Pop recording with 50 Cent called Monster. The track was produced by Teddy Riley and I absolutely love it. Its a funky song where both the iconic singer and the rapper killed it. While the song was recorded several years ago, it sounds like something that would work out in the current market of the music if its released in the right manner. What do you think of the track?

It looks like things arent going too slow for Christina Aguilera in her new relationship. The singer recently met the family of her new boyfriend, Matt Rutler. This is what a source related on the event: “This is the first Thanksgiving she was without Max. It was really hard for her and she was feeling sad, so she decided to go to the East Coast with Matt and a group of friends. Since his family lives so close, they decided to drop in for a few hours.” Christina Aguilera sure doesnt waste any time, does she? But what happened to the whole Max is everything to her and whatnot? You wouldve expected her to be after sole custody first of all, not new boyfriends.

Slash and his wife Perla Ferrar have recently reconciled after initially filing for divorce. Now, the rock star has filed for a dismissal of his divorce in LA County Superior Court. Hopefully, the court will sign off on the dismissal. If both of them want to be back in the marriage, I dont see any reason why they shouldnt get a second chance to make things work. I wish them both the best of luck and I hope things will be sweeter for them this time around. They should learn not to rush into making any decisions so no one has to be troubled with this kind of thing again.

For several weeks, Michael Jackson?s tomb at Forest Lawn Memorial Park was under maximum round the clock security. It?s now being said that the extra protection has been scaled back. Sources say that the mausoleum that house?s the late singer?s body was being monitored by a private security firm hired specifically to protect the King of Pop?s grave. Wino is scheduled to make a comeback performance in London at the end of this month and they are saying that she might not make it.

Amy Winehouse was taken to the hospital in St. Lucia this past weekend. The singer?s spokesperson said that the reason behind the hospitalization was dehydration. Wino?s publicist said ?She fainted at home (in St Lucia) and they took her in for observation, mainly to do with her medication to check everything was OK. They told her that she was dehydrated and needed to drink more water.? Her publicist further claims that Wino was running around with a group of children before she passed out. She?s expected to perform at a jazz festival in St. Lucia later this week so I hope she feels better.
British songstress Leona Lewis has suffered a horse-riding incident when her own horse delivered a nasty headbutt. The horse, which was a birthday present from her friends, turned on Leona after an early morning ride and hit her in the face so hard that it split her lip open and knocked her to the floor. According to sources ?Leona has been riding since she was a child and has never had a fear of horses. So she was really shaken up when the horse turned on her. Something startled the horse and it flicked its head back and smacked Leona full in the face. She was knocked flying by the force of it. Thankfully she didn?t need any surgery, but she was told to stay at home and rest just in case she passed out with concussion.? Unlike Madonna, Leona isn?t blaming anyone or anything for the incident.
Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry were spotted together in Barbados last week. 24-year old Katy and 27-year old Kelly were among the stars that were in town to perform at Chum FM?s 24th anniversary celebration at Harbour Lights on Bay Street. 21-year old Barbadian native Rihanna was seen cheering for the two singers in the audience. Rihanna and Katy were also seen hanging out on the beach. I wonder what it would be like to have these three very talented singers collaborate on a song. I bet that it would be wonderful. Having them on a collaboration would be like a dream for me.
Green Day have just released a behind-the-scenes look at their new video for ?Know Your Enemy.? The clip, while short, gives a glimpse into what?s in store for fans in the forthcoming video. The Matthew Cullen (Weezer) directed video was shot in Los Angeles and will make its premiere on April 24th via 250+ MTV on-air and online outlets worldwide.

Britney Spears has released her new music video for her single ?If U Seek Amy?. The controversial song is the third single to be released from her album ?Circus?. The track was co-written and produced by famed producer Max Martin, who also provided the classic Britney hits ??Baby One More Time? and ?Oops!? I Did It Again?. Just like her videos for ?Womanizer? and ?Circus?, Britney is still the hot mama that she is in her new video. I wonder if the video will be received with the same amount of controversy as the single itself. I hope not. It?s too hot of a video to just get censored or aired only when the kids are asleep.
The new Kelly Clarkson album has just leaked on the internet in its entirety. While that may come off as bad news, that?s where it ends. Everything else is good news after that. The great news is that the album is really good. I love it a whole lot even after just listening through it one full time. The whole thing is great! Almost every song has the potential to be a massive single for the original American Idol. That makes it official. Kelly Clarkson is back and she?s back with a vengeance! Congrats! I bet that the leak will even help her sell more albums rather than make her lose money.
