Troubled British pop star Amy Winehouse isn’t planning to sober up anytime soon – if her rider backstage at the MOBO Awards in London is anything to go by. The Rehab singer, who suffered health problems this summer after an apparent drug overdose, hasn’t cut back on her heavy drinking ways. Wasted talent.. she really should go to rehab poor thing she must have some really emotional heart agues for always wanting to be drunk she cant handle it sober.. is anyone surprised? I am not, really once these girls get into boozing and stuff like drugs then it really a matter of time that they start screwing up where ever they go, where they can. The awards ceremonies and parties are the perfect get away escapes for the drunkards and druggies with the comforts of lavish lounges and night clubs to party they just can?t resist the temptation to booze and get high all night till they are carried away by some friends to their homes or hotel rooms.
The pop star has arrived in Las Vegas for her much anticipated opening performance on Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards and has already checked in to the Palms Casino Resort.
Clad in jeans, a white shirt, floppy hat and sunglasses, Spears touched down in Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon with pal Alli Sims and another girlfriend and went straight to the Palms Sky Villa, a luxury suite equipped with pop-up plasma TVs, a rotating bed and views of the Strip. Brit singer Lily Allen is most likely not going to make the MTV Video Music awards in a few weeks. But it?s not because MTV pulled her from the show as some rumors are saying.
A source close to the show leaked that the network ?wishes she could perform? but it looks like issues with her visa won?t be resolved by September 9th when the show airs. However, if she can get her immigration issues worked out on or before the said date, Lily ?has a standing invitation to attend the event?. And despite the rumors, the network would ?love? to see her perform on the show.
Amy Winehouse is still not completely out and about after her frightening drug overdose last week. And she?s keeping it that way.
The ?Rehab? singer has cancelled her appearance in Germany where she was supposed to open for the Rolling Stones. She also won?t be opening for them at another concert later in the week. Who the heck refuses the Rolling Stones? That is such an honor.

Her record company won?t comment on these reports and still is rigidly maintaining that the whole incident took place because of pure exhaustion, yes we know now that exhaustion = drug over dose, if so why would the medics had to pump her stomach. She?s now been taken to her home and has been advised complete rest. Amy has had to pull out of gigs in Norway and Denmark. They?re the latest in a long line cancelled shows. Now how could she be performing anywhere when she is addicted to drugs, she will be out of her minds most of the time, singing drug related tunes that won?t be understandable to her.
The latest rumour is that Simon Cowell will be producing a film. At the moment it is tentatively titled as ?Star Struck?. The movie is set behind the scenes of a singing contest where the top 10 contestants are battling their way to the top. Apparently the story is shown through the eyes of those people. Cowell himself said that he wants it to be a feel good underdog story. So far it?s sounding pretty darn lame to me. Almost as lame as that movie they made Justin and Kelly do after the first season of American Idol. For some reason Cowell believes that making a movie that is basically just American Idol still, will be relatable to audiences. And because it is more or less just American Idol in a movie, the cast will be selected after a series of open call auditions. The worst part about all of this is that no matter how absolutely crappy this movie is, people will still go see it. Don?t we have better things to do with our time and money than feed the American Idol monster?

“I was going out with this girl for two years — the most beautiful girl in school — but she cheated on me with my best friend,” the Miami-born, Jamaica-bred Kingston says about his first heartbreak.
The experience, though, served as inspiration for the record-setting “Beautiful Girls,” from his self-titled debut, due July 31 via Beluga Heights/Epic Records. The single, which samples Ben E. King’s 1961 classic “Stand by Me,” entered the Hot 100 Airplay chart in June at No. 58, and in just four weeks jumped to No. 5, the quickest climb by a new male artist since Lou Bega in 1999.
Kingston, who is the first artist signed to J.R. Rotem’s Beluga Heights label, was so eager to work with the producer that he “wrote a message asking him to check out my music and sent it via MySpace. I kept going back and copying and pasting the e-mail and resending it to J.R. three times a day for weeks,” he says. “I knew eventually he would have to reply.”
Rotem’s younger brother Tommy, who manages his page, weeded out Kingston from the many requests and started to correspond with him. “(Tommy) saw the promise in Sean when he first heard him, so he started to work with him, giving him beats and direction so he could present him to me in the best possible light,” says Rotem. “When I heard him, I knew it felt right.”
Kingston, whose grandfather is Bob Marley & the Wailers producer Jack Ruby, discovered his affinity for music at the age of 10, when he wrote his first song over an Alicia Keys beat. His mother was so impressed that she started to invest in studio time for Kingston. With her support, Kingston spent the next few years penning tracks and recording music, hoping to catch his big break.
“I used to go to different studios, barbershops, skating rinks, flea markets … you name it. I was always ready to show talent and hand out my CDs.” But at 14, Kingston experienced the second heartbreak of his young life when his mother was arrested for tax evasion. “I was really close to my mom, and so when she went away it took a big chunk out of me,” Kingston says. “My sister stayed with me, but then she also went away for her involvement in my mother’s crime.” His sister was released after four months, but his mother is still serving time.
Instead of allowing the ordeal to deter him, Kingston, who chooses not to curse in his music (“If a pastor’s daughter wants to buy my CD, she’ll be able to because I make clean music,” he says), used the events to inspire the track “Prosecutor,” in which he recounts his family’s court trials.
“Beautiful Girls,” which will be made available July 24 on iTunes, sits at No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has sold 593,000 mastertones through the week ending July 8, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Kingston is the No. 1 artist on MySpace, with more than 5 million profile views.

New Order without bassist Peter Hook after band members Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris issued a statement today (July 20) saying they vow to continue.
The pair’s statement comes after former bassist Hook claimed recently that he is not working with his bandmates anymore.
Sumner and Morris declared: “After 30 years in a band together we are very disappointed that Hooky has decided to go to the press and announce unilaterally that New Order have split up. We would have hoped that he could have approached us personally first. He does not speak for all the band, therefore we can only assume he no longer wants to be a part of New Order.”
Last week Hook told that the band was over, explaining: “We’ve decided not to work together anymore. It’s been on-off-on for a while and last time we just went our separate ways.”
Sumner and Morris did not reveal any plans about the band’s future without Hook, only to declare that “New Order have NOT split up, they continue to exist.”
James Blunt has been caught in a songwriting dispute. The singer faces a courtroom battle in a long running dispute over the authorship of six songs from his 2005 debut album Back To Bedlam.
Lukas Burton, a Los Angeles producer, claims he co-wrote the tracks with Blunt. Due to the claims, royalty payments to the singer have been suspended since last year, reports The Independent.
Burton, who has worked with Paul McCartney and Dido, is seeking royalties for the songs “Goodbye My Lover,” “No Bravery,” “Cry,” “I Don’t Believe,” “I Really Want You,” and “Don’t Lose Yourself.”
Blunt insists he wrote the songs for the huge-selling album either while serving as an officer with the British Army in Kosovo in 1999, at his flat in Bristol, or at his parents’ home in Hampshire in early 1989.
The singer’s publicist confirmed that he and his publishing company EMI are asking Britain’s High Court to settle the dispute.
She said: “This is true. It is all a matter for the public record.”
Writing on his blog, Burton said of Blunt’s music: “His stuff was crude, occasionally laughably direct, and betrayed his relative lack of musicianship or discernible influence…it would probably be an overstatement to say that in terms of his professional musical aspirations James had nothing going on, but he definitely had next to nothing going on.”
Nikki Sixx, bassist for Motley Crue, revealed details of his forthcoming book Heroin Diaries and premiered songs from the accompanying soundtrack with his new band Sixx:AM at a press conference in Los Angeles this morning (July 16).
The bassist spoke frankly about his former addiction to heroin and other drugs, which is chronicled in the book due out in September.
Heroin Diaries contains excerpts from Sixx’s 1987 diaries during the height of Motley Crue’s fame, and graphically depicts the bassist’s life-threatening struggle with drugs.
It also includes writings from people close to him at the time, including Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, and Prince backup singer Vanity.
“I felt the book wasn’t complete without other people’s perspectives and opinions on what I was like as an addict,” said Sixx. “They would tell me if I was full of sh*t.”
Sixx said the Heroin Diaries musical soundtrack is based on chapters from the book. “We weren’t writing for radio–we wrote music based on what everybody felt from the book,” he said. The musical soundtrack is reportedly the first to accompany a book, and is due out August 21.
Sixx announced that 25 percent of the proceeds from the project will go toward Covenant House California, a charity that aims to keep youth off the street and provides them with shelter and counseling.
“Music gave me the opportunity to get off the streets and gave me something to live for,” Sixx said
It looks like Britney Spears is using her money to bring her kid sister Jamie into the fued with her mother, Lynne Spears. The Toxic star has changed her will as a rebuff to her mom, leaving her assets to her sister in event of her death. Jamie doesn?t know whose side to take. Can?t blame her either, on the one side is the will which makes her inherint to possible multi million dollars of her sister?s wealth and on the other side is a mother whose taken care of her all her life. The guitarist and drummer with Evanescence have left the top-selling rock act for undisclosed reasons.
Guitarist John LeCompt claimed on his MySpace.com blog that he was fired during a cell phone conversation with singer Amy Lee, while drummer Rocky Gray said he was asked by band management not to discuss the situation.
However, Lee said in a statement that Evanescence remains “alive and well” and will soon return to the road with new musicians.
“John and Rocky were in Evanescence for four years and we shared some great times together playing live, but they were ready to move on and so we have parted ways,” she said. “Evanescence is something I have loved and nurtured since I was 14, and I will continue to protect and fight for it as I always have.
LeCompt did not paint the situation so rosily on his blog. “Without any warning or negotiations for my future, I was fired for no good reason,” he said. “We have not always seen eye to eye on everything, but who does? Our common goal was always the same. To make Evanescence the best rock band it could ever be. I have always given blood, sweat and tears to make that happen but apparently that is not enough. I have now become just another of the people fallen by the wayside on the revolving door of her life.”
Lee said no shows would be canceled due to the lineup shift, but the group won’t have long to draft replacements for LeCompt and Gray. It is due to return to the stage May 19 at the first Rock on the Range festival in Columbus, Ohio, and has European dates on tap through late June.
Al Gore announced Friday a surprise Live Earth concert in Washington, foiling Senate Republicans who blocked Gore’s attempt to bring his global warming extravaganza to the grounds of the U.S. Capitol. The former vice president said the all-day ”Mother Earth” concert would be held on the National Mall at the National Museum of the American Indian – about two blocks from the Capitol – as part of Saturday’s concert series focused on climate change. The headliners are Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. Independence Day is taking on a whole new meaning for Britney Spears this year.
In the wake of a well-publicized falling out with her mother, Lynne, the tarnished pop princess seems to have little interest in mending their relationship.
Sources have speculated that the mother-daughter feud began after Britney blamed Lynne for forcing her into rehab against her will back in February.
Perhaps as a means of retaliation, Britney has now claimed to be “really concerned” about Lynne, while hinting that her mother could possibly use some treatment herself.
“I’m praying for her right now,” Britney told a crowd of photographers trailing her on Sunday. “I hope she gets all the help she needs.”
Her latest comments came after she was deliberately photographed last week delivering paperwork to a dejected-looking Lynne outside a trailer in Valencia, California.

This is a clear showing that the girl is not only a good singer but she can handle her exs well. Janet Jackson and her long-time boyfriend Jermaine Dupri were spotted leaving a coffee shop in Beverly Hills after having an early breakfast on Wednesday morning.
In the July 2 issue of OK! Magazine, Jermaine confirmed the rumors that Janet is working on a new album with LA Reid at Circle House Studios in Miami. When asked whether he and Janet have plans on starting a family, he said: ?As soon as she finishes her new album. She started in June and she?s working on it right now. Investigators are trying to determine who threw objects from a bluff-top compound owned by musician Kenny G that struck a 9-year-old girl on the head.
The incident happened June 23 when Brooke Porter was at the beach with her family and she was hit in the head, according to Los Angeles County sheriff’s detectives. She needed four stitches to close her wound.
Sheriff’s officials said they believe two teens on the musician’s property ? neither related to him ? threw the objects that hit Brooke 50 feet below.
Although authorities would not say what was thrown, Kenny G’s attorney said Hershey’s Kisses and a Power Bar energy bar were thrown.
“I have been informed a Power Bar hit the girl accidentally on the head,” said attorney Lee Blackman. “It was just an accident.”
He said Kenny G’s wife paid the girl’s medical bill.
The girl’s parents were upset about the incident and believe whoever threw the items targeted Brooke and her brother, Chase, a 12-year-old with Down’s syndrome and autism.
For the last week or two there have been a flurry of rumors surviving the woman formerly known as Britney Spears? love rival. The latest entertainment reports have been stating that she is once again pregnant with the baby of Kevin Federline. The reports have obviously bothered Jackson so much that she teamed up with In Touch magazine to take a pregnancy test to prove to America once and for all that she is not expecting another child. According to one of the latest gossip rumors going around, the British quintet known as the Spice Girls will be announcing their reunion next week. Even the first girl to leave, Geri Halliwell also known as Ginger Spice is said to be on board for the groups multi-million dollar return. The deal has been in the making for many years and no expense is to be spared to make their reunion one of the biggest and most welcome in history. The girls have turned down offers in the past so the amount of money they are being given for this reunion must be pretty huge. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out considering most of the ladies are now mothers and wives. Baby Spice herself is set to give birth any day now. That will most likely add to the time fans will have to wait to see the Spice Girls together again live and on tour. But if the deal really goes through then a slew of fans may be overjoyed. That is, if they have not already long forgotten about the Spice Girls. With newer and bigger fish in the Hollywood Sea, only time will tell.

This wasn?t the first time the two appeared together. In L.A. at the premiere of Shrek last month they were shot sharing a friendly kiss. Last week they promoted the film together in Berlin.

Lil Mama whose single “Lip Gloss” cracked TRL top 10 this week is very anxious to work with Avril. She says: “I think she was up on ‘Lip Gloss’, but I didn’t meet her or anything”.
“I submitted the remix ’cause I was feeling her song. She had other offers but decided to go with me, so I feel blessed that I’m the one she wanted to work with. The beat is crazy, it’s a rock joint”, Mama added. “I’m into different types of music, so I thought it was a good opportunity for me. I’m just rapping about the song; I’m sticking to theme. Well just leave Sanjay Malakar alone and if the guy has it in him he will make it big or at least he?ll find his share of success and if the boy is just empty then, Mr. Ozzy Osbourne, you will not have to sing with him anyways. But Rock Legend Osbourne called American Idol contestant Sanjay Malakar ?an idiot? and has refused to sing with him. Refusing to sing is fine, you might have your choices and that?s alright but to call a budding singer an idiot is like insulting his own profession. Many people haven?t appreciated Sanjay?s hairstyle and probably his singing capabilities but give the guy some time and he might just turn things around. Osbourne was to perform at the show?s finale but cancelled at the last minute after he learned that he would have to share the stage with Sanjay. Osbourne said he did not want to be on stage with that idiot. Guitarist Steve Perry of Aerosmith was roped in to sing with Malakar.
Alex James has confessed to spending over $1.9 million on champagne and cocaine during the 90s.
The Blur bassist admits he blew the fortune on drink and drug-fueled orgies with groupies during the height of the British band’s fame.
Alex revealed in his new book ‘Bit of a Blur’: “During the 90s I must have spent about $1.9 million on champagne and cocaine, and entertained more women then I can really remember.”
“One night in 1998 I was staying at the famous Copacabana Palace hotel in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and managed to get the penthouse suite. The tour manager found me a Balthazar of champagne – the biggest of bottle that one person can carry. There were lots of fans milling around the hotel, so I decided to invite the prettiest ones to come up to my room.”
“I’d calculated I’d need five for a bottle of champagne that big. After ushering them in, I collapsed on the bed and let them cover me in champagne and kisses. I stopped having sex occasionally, but only so that I could have some more drugs.”
Meanwhile, Alex recently revealed Graham Coxon could be rejoining Blur.
He said: “We’re all heading into the studio together this summer – Graham’s coming too. We’re going to see if we’ve still got it.”
Graham quit the band in 2002 during the recording of the band’s seventh studio album “Think Tank” in Marrakech, Morocco.
The reasons for his departure were believed to be a combination of his unhappiness at singer Damon Albarn’s control over the group’s musical direction and the decision to hire DJ Fatboy Slim as the record’s producer.
Robbie Williams has branded the Hollywood dating scene “f***ing stupid” in an emotionally-charged rant on his website.
The British singer launched a ferocious tirade on-line, branding US dating ‘rules’ “rubbish” – and lashing out at a mystery woman called Tina.
The ‘Rudebox’ star wrote: “There are a few dating rules people adhere to out here in Hollywood. And they’re all f***ing stupid. Don’t call until the next day. Then don’t get back to him for at least two days, etc. It’s all rubbish. If any of these rules are applied to me, I respond in kind by never speaking to them again.”
After ranting about his lack of faith in love in general, Robbie, who recently spent time in rehab for treatment for prescription drug addiction, turned his attention to a woman called Tina.
The star explained how Tina had led him on before revealing she had a boyfriend.
Robbie wrote: “I trust you less than ever now. You have completely blown any trust I had for you by being a devious c***. If I knew my girlfriend had been on a dinner and DVD night with another man I would be livid. I’m furious thinking about it!!!!! And it happened weeks ago.”
The 33-year-old former Take That star, who has admitted suffering from depression, anxiety and insecurity in the past, then claimed: “I was p***ed for all of 20 minutes”.
However, needy Robbie goes on to launch a scathing attack on Tina, writing: “As I left the sweaty eatery I noted her carp-like eyes dancing a merry jig. A jig that said a: He’s got my number, he may call it, and b: Look at the paparazzi swarm his car. He is wanted – I must have him. Indeed, if she had a c**k it would have been standing to attention.”
In a final shocking attack, Robbie cruelly mocks Tina’s looks, saying: “She’s amazing from the front, but from the side she looks like a shed is about to land on her on a special delivery from Kansas”.
