Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and the LA Lakers are getting sued by a company that claims that they all used knockoffs of their big screen in concert. Large Audience Display Systems says in a federal lawsuit filed in Texas that the concerts in question used a large audience display screen that was identical to their patented gigantic monitors. Britney uses the screen on her Circus tour. Justin used the monitors on his FutureSex/LoveShow tour and the Lakers use them for the games. The Pussycat Dolls were also involved in the lawsuit. The company wants an injunction prohibiting the defendants from using the knockoffs in the future as well as unspecified damages.
We all know that the Pussycat Dolls are done and over with and it looks like the girls are ready to admit to it. Kimberly Wyatt recently explained to Chris Younie on The Hits Radio that the group has zero plans for another album. However, she gave some hope that it wouldn’t be the last that we’ve heard of the band, it just might not be the same girls. Kimberly said “Here’s the thing. I think the Pussycat Dolls was always created as a brand, and it will always be that way. No matter what happens, the Pussycat Dolls will always be around.”
The Pussycat Dolls are going on a break and member Kimberly Wyatt has opened the floodgates for the rest of the girls to follow by telling reporters how she really feels about band mate Nicole Scherzinger. Kimberly said “I get on with most of the band but not everyone. Look, at the end of the day it’s a job – we all have our own lives to lead and our own projects going on…I think of Nicole as just a business associate not as a friend. You cannot simply group girls together and just expect them to get on, can you? Life doesn’t work like that.” Kim isn’t concerned in Nicole leaves the group saying “If Nicole left tomorrow, we could still carry on. I can see this band going on forever.”

The Dolls shot the video for “Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny)” at an abandoned train station museum in snowy Vienna with director Thomas Kloss (Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus).

It looks like everything is not so peachy keen between the Pussycat Dolls and the head of their record label, Jimmy Iovine. Basically, the Dolls want to take their backup dancers on the road with them for their opening gig for Britney Spears’ ‘Circus’ tour. Unfortunately, Iovine gave the girls a harsh lesson in reality and economics. When the girls pleaded for the dancers to come along, Iovine responded with “We can’t afford it. I’m sorry its hard enough right now with the album not selling that’s why we did jai ho and re releasing the album. And we want to be able to keep the whole thing going at this level its not a choice its a reality.”
