Cuban-American rapper Pitbull recently premiered the music video for his new smash hit “Give Me Everything” via VEVO. The track, which features Ne-Yo and up and coming singer Nayer, has peaked thus far at the #13 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100. I think it’s likely to crack the top 10 now with a visual in support of it. Speaking of the visual, the David Rousseau-directed clip captured the song’s essence and showed a non-stop party. If you want more of Pitbull and his music, his new album “Planet Pit” will be hitting stores on June 21st. What do you think?

Ne-Yo’s new music video for “One In A Million” was debuted today on Youtube Page. TNe-Yo’s One In A Million, R&B song is the official third single from Ne-Yo’s upcoming album called “Libra Scale”
Usher is set to hit the stage at the 2010 MTV VMAs and he couldnt be more excited. The 31-year old R&B singer shared It is an honor to once again be a part of the MTV Video Music Awards. I cant wait to perform for my fans all around the world who have helped to make this album a success and my being here possible. You never know whats gonna happen on an MTV VMA stageI look forward to making it a night to remember. I wonder if Usher knows about Ne-Yo getting cut off the performers list to make room for him.
Ne-Yo has admitted that he feels naked unless hes wearing a hat. The singer is known for his huge collection of hats. He began to collect them after he started losing hair at a young age. I wore my first hat to when I was very, very young. I was in high school. Like all men in my family I started to go bald at a very young age, and the children in school can be very cruel said Ne-Yo. Ne-Yo debuted in 2006 with the album “In My Own Words, released under the Def Jam Recordings.
Ne-Yo has been slapped with a lawsuit from the promoters of his cancelled 2008 New Years Eve concert in Washington State. The promoter claims that not only was he not refunded the money for the cancelled gig by the R&B singers booking agent, but he also has a damaged reputation. The lawsuit seeks $1 million in damages, to refund the $95,000 deposit and the rest to clean up his rep. Why did Ne-Yo cancel in the first place? If he has a decent excuse, he may walk away with a win in this court and for the promoter to just have his ruined reputation.
Rihannas last album Rated R was a big disappointment and I am hoping that whatever new music she has in store would be much better. The Vice President of Def Jam, Bu Thiam, recently shared a little about the singers upcoming album. He told Vibe, Im trying to push her to where every song will be a hit from 1 to 12. Im talking about NO album fillers. Our bar for this album is Michael Jacksons Thriller. We got smashes from Stargate, Ester Dean, Mel & Mus and Rock City. Were definitely going in with Ne-Yo, The-Dream and other writers and producers that have always been a part of her creative process since day one. I hope they deliver the goods.
It seems that Rihanna was somewhat of an unexpected guest at Mariah Carey?s Halloween party last weekend. Sources are saying that the two ladies refused to be photographed together and didn?t even speak for the whole night. A source said ?It was Mariah’s party, but Rihanna didn’t want to be seen with her. And Mariah was not going over to greet Rihanna. Mariah needed six guards to clear a path to the bathroom so her wings wouldn’t be dislodged.? The Barbadian singer partied with Ne-Yo and some friends in a booth while Mariah stuck close to hubby Nick Cannon in a VIP area. Are these the makings of a diva rivalry?
You can add R&B singer Ne-Yo to the list of celebrity wannabes aiming for a crossover career as he will be taking a break from the music business by joining the cast of ?Battle: Los Angeles?. The science-fiction war film will also star the likes of Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan and Michael Pe?a. Ne-Yo will play a corporal in the platoon fighting off the aliens. It sounds like a lame version of ?War of the Worlds? or ?Independence Day? to me. The singer has also landed a gig with Disney, penning and performing the closing song for ?The Princess and the Frog?.
UK fans who wanted to see Ne-Yo?s performance at Mercy nightclub in Norwich last Sunday received some major disappointment. Not only did the singer not show up until 2Am, but he also only performed one and a half songs before leaving the stage abruptly. The nightclub was forced to issue a statement on its website saying that they were apologizing for the failed event and that they will be issuing full refunds within a month. However, the club was forced to retract that statement due to legal reasons and that they are still in negotiation to resolve all the issues regarding the matter. I think ticketholders will just get screwed.
