Tila Tequila was recently a casualty at the Gathering of the Juggalos last weekend when audience members threw pretty much everything, including feces, at the reality TV star. She wasn’t the only victim though as Method Man was also subjected to the attack. According to sources, he and fellow rapper Redman were performing at the festival on Sunday night when someone in the audience threw what appeared to be a full beer can at Method Man’s face, resulting in a pretty nasty wound right by the eye. Redman threw expletives at the crowd before telling Method Man to get the cut looked at, however, he refused to stop the show and continued on performing.
Justin Bieber began shooting his latest video, “U Smile”, and posted on his Facebook account a few photos from the set. In one picture, 16 years-old singer is sitting behind a black piano while singing a song. In other two pictures he appear alongside Alfredo Flores, and the rest of the photos are made while he was filming. The song “U Smile” is part of his the second studio album” My World 2.0 “, released in March this year. Justin said about this song that it is the best which he has recorded so far.

I have some great news for all you Van Halen fans. The band is currently in the studio recording an album of new music. Even bigger news is that this time around, they have their original lead singer David Lee Roth. The last time that David recorded with the band was on their best-selling 1983 release, ‘1984’. It’s been almost twenty years since Van Halen released a new studio album so you know that they’re going to make this one good. And if that wasn’t enough for you, the band is also gearing up for a reunion tour which should kick off around the same time the album is released in 2011.

Lil Wayne could leave prison in November, 4 months earlier than he should. The rapper was condemned in March to 12 months in prison, after he pleaded guilty to illegal possession of a weapon. According to MTV News, Lil Wayne will be released for good behavior, on the 4th of November. Life in prison seems to be manageable for Wayne, he even wrote a few songs while being in prison. Recently on the rapper’s blog was posted his day by day program inside the prison walls.

The Rocket Man, now 63, married his partner David Furnish in a ceremony five years ago and said he finally grew up when he left the drink and drugs behind.
He said to UK newspaper Daily Mirror: “My greatest achievement in life was getting sober and clean because I was a real mess. That happened in 1990.
“I don’t know how I kept my career going with my drug consumption, but I did because I loved to work. If I hadn’t worked, I’d probably be dead.”

Kate Hudson was recently spotted with Matt Bellamy, the lead singer of the band Muse, in New York last week after reportedly dating for over a month. It’s only been a few months since the actress and A-Rod broke up but sources say that this new relationship is getting serious and that the couple plans to make the relationship public at Britain’s Glastonbury festival later this month. A source said “Matt has been over to America to hang out with Kate. Things are going so well, Kate was planning to fly out to the UK to hang out with Matt at the festival. She wants to watch the band from the side of the stage and meet his pals.” It makes me wonder if Kate had anything to do with Matt’s split with fiancé Gaia Polloni.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has opened up about his childhood dreams and how he discovered the tragic truth about his “kingpin” father’s death.
During his Tuesday night appearance on Bravo TV’s Inside The Actor’s Studio, the actor and music mogul also told how his dreams of making his mother proud spurred him on to graduate from university and begin making his millions.
Now aged 40, the Harlem-born rapper, actor and successful fashion designer appeared on the show to celebrate his many successes, watched from the front row by his beaming mother Janis and teenage son Justin.
Named one of Time magazine’s “100 most influential people of 2006″, the father-of-five, who has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, chronicled his path to stardom.
He revealed he was aged just three when his father, Melvin Combs, died.
“I would dream about him throwing me up in the air,” he told host James Lipton.
“That’s the only memory I have of him. My mother is a very protective mother. She didn’t tell me the whole truth, she told me he died in a car accident.
“I went to the library to go through the microfilm and I searched my father and it came up that they had called him a ‘Kingpin’ in Harlem and that he was killed on Central Park West. He had got shot in his head, that’s how I found out about my father.”
Combs told of his schoolboy dreams to become an American football star, which he was forced to give up when he broke his leg at a crucial point in high school.
“It broke my heart, I had to learn at a young age that things happen and sometimes your dreams get deferred, and you don’t have to give up your dreams,” he said.
“That’s when I found music.”

Whats happened is all that blood in his brain is starting to drain and hes starting to have a lot of back pain. Its been I can hear it in his voice, I know hes in a lot of painHes so happy that everybody is pulling for him. The fact that he got medical treatment right away, he went immediately and because there is one of the best neurological centers in America there he was very fortunate and I think he will recover quickly and it wouldnt surprise me to see him back there sooner than most. After 16 years with the label, the boys of Weezer have left Geffen Records and plan to start producing their own music all on their own, also known as being indie. What that means, even the band doesnt know, but bassist Scott Shriner told Billboard Magazine that they are definitely working on new music and are scheming something big for fans. One of the things that they have in store is a collection of B-sides and rare recordings the guys have had over the years. That sounds like a great way to recycle. Rap group Public Enemy wants to release an album entirely funded by donations from their fans. It kind of gives a whole new meaning to paying for it thats for sure. In return for investing in the project, fans will get albums, meet and greets and even a cut of the profits. Public Enemy has set a goal of raising $75,000 through donations. A statement says We have learned that the fan-funding model is still not fully developed and, as a result, a $250,000 fund-raising effort, while possible, will take too long to accomplishAs a result of our SellaBand experience and all that we have learned, we now believe that a $75,000 fund raising target will fulfill the needs for a new recording project and is much more appropriate for the strength of the existing SellaBand model and the current economic climate.
It has been reported that American Idol musical director Ricky Minor will be replacing Kevin Eubanks on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Ricky has worked as a musical director for the likes of Beyonce, Ray Charles, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Whitney Houston and a boat load of others. He was also musical director for the Grammy Awards and the Super Bowl. Kevin will be leaving his spot as band leader at the end of May, right around the same time that this season of AI comes to an end. NBC has also confirmed that Ricky will debut on The Tonight Show on June 7. I wonder if he has comedic abilities too.
This is probably part of not taking herself too seriously and just loosening up a bit and going with the entertainment. It seems that Nicki Minaj has recently fired her manager, Debbie Antney, who has been with her for three years a short time after dropping out of the tour with Rihanna and Kesha. This is what Debbie Antney said on the matter: “I received a letter, which was a suspension. The next letter that came in was a cease and desist in doing all business with Nicki Minaj from Nicki’s attorney. I love Nicki. I wish her the most success. It’s not about the music, she’s like one of my children I wish her no harm, only much success.” Oh well, Nicki Minaj is probably going to manage all by her lonesome after all, its just entertainment, isnt it?
Synth-rock duo MGMT is featured on the cover of the May 2010 issue of BlackBook magazine. The band talked about moving away from their 2007 hit album Oracular Spectacular and giving a new style of music saying If we tried to re-create our last album and someone didnt like it, I think it would have been really difficult to look them in the eye and tell them we really believed in the album. But now, if someone tells us that it sucks, we dont give a shit. But if this doesnt work, if this isnt what people want to hear, then Im not sure what well do next.
It looks like the guys from MGMT are still pretty upset that their music is getting labeled and they have once again tried to speak on the matter. This is what Ben Goldwasser came up with on that note: “I think people have this attitude that something’s either pop or it’s pretentious art, or it’s mainstream or it’s indie, there’s no middle ground, and I think we’re trying to go somewhere in between that. We feel like it should be taken as an album and not a collection of singles. We don’t want to be associated with concept albums and art rock or any of that, it’s bullshit to us. Well this is all good and fine, but it doesnt look like MGMT is really in it for the fans. This is what happens when you take the concept of fame corrupting to the other extreme.
Miley Cyrus has announced on The View that she wont be doing any more albums for a while so she can concentrate on her acting career. The singer/actress said I have a record coming out in June and that’s going to be the last thing I do in music for a while. I just want to do films cause I like being someone else. My music is kind of like my diary. I’ll always do that I just feel like the music industry isn’t as positive as I’d like it to be. It sounds to me like someone is getting too big for her own britches.
UK singer Eddy Grant is consulting his lawyers to consider filing a lawsuit against the Gorillaz for substantial damages over allegedly plagiarizing a song. The singer insists that the bands new single Stylo has the same keyboard riff from his 1983 track Time Warp. Eddy even suggests that the groups leader Damon Albarn is completely aware of the theft. Eddy said Damon Albarn knows in his heart of hearts – it’s unfortunate that we cant get into people’s hearts – he knows that this is a song that he’s loved, in his club days I don’t know the guy but he knows this is a song he loves. Its not too far of a stretch, considering that both artists are under the same publishing company.
Now that Lil Wayne is finally serving his time in jail at New Yorks Rikers Island prison on weapons charges, the rapper has been ordered to not sign autographs. He has been warned to avoid publicizing his celebrity and giving autographs to any of the other inmates. A representative of the Correction Officers Benevolent Association said Lil Wayne is not a celebrity in here. It looks like the rapper is in for a rough time. Rikers has been known to not really treat their celebrity inmates any better than any other goon. And thats good since he deserves it after all the lucky breaks he had.
Chris Brown is literally begging his fans to keep him and his music relevant as the convicted woman beater is using a recorded audio message to spread his desperate plea. The R&B singers message is available through SayNow.com, a website in which celebrities can record messages for their fans. In the message, Chris begs his fans to help bring me back saying that a lot of radio stations aren’t playing my records. They are not being that supportive and I wouldn’t expect them to. He goes on to say that hes a better guy now but says [My music] won’t be possible if I’m not relevant on the radio. Guess what Chris? No one cares.
Heres some pretty amazing but hardly surprising news Lady Gagas debut album The Fame is officially certified as diamond worldwide having sold 10,000,054 copies. As for the singers follow-up The Fame Monster, its nearly double platinum in the United States. And if the charts are anything to go by, it wont be long until that garners just as much success too. Congratulations to the princess of pop! She definitely deserves the title after all the achievements shes gotten in such a short amount of time. And the best thing about it is that I doubt shes even reached her prime yet. Im sure theres still much to look forward to with Lady Gaga.
Radiohead lead singer Thom Yorke is going on tour with his side project and it sounds great. The band is called Atoms for Peace and is comprised of Flea, Nigel Godrich, Mauro Refosco and Joey Waronker, all of whom contributed on Thoms solo album The Eraser. Thom said ok so in April the other band.. that i got together to do the eraser and other stuff u know .. Mauro, Flea, Me, Joey and Nigel is going back out to do some shows in the US.. ending with playing with Coachella. we had too much fun to just leave it thereit has been decided that we call ourselves Atoms For Peace. hope you like the name.. it seemed bleedin’ obvious. The band will play eight shows before they hit the Coachella Music Festival in April.
Coldplay is on its way back. According to lead singer Chris Martin, the band hopes to release a new album in 2010 hopefully near Christmas. They are currently at work in their secret studio in London which is said to be a converted church. No tracks will end up getting leaked this time as Chris said There’s only two people in the whole building who know how to open all the recording files. Even we [Coldplay] don’t know how to do it. We couldn’t even steal our own music at the moment. You would have to be a computer genius and a great burglar to get into the building, and download it, and mix it.
Prepare to be warped back to 2002 because The Strokes are finally making some new music. Drummer Fab Moretti says that the band is currently in the recording studio laying down tracks for their fourth album with a release hopefully around September. The rock star said We’ve been recording a bunch basic tracks are done. Now we’re just running around like kids in a candy shop. Is anyone ready for The Strokes to be back? I wonder what took them so long anyway. Do they even still have fans around? To be honest, I dont even remember what they sounded like.

Honestly, shes got my head spinning too. At one point, nobody cared about the singer. The next, her name is on everybodys lips. Its not a bad thing though. I think Lady Gaga is absolutely amazing. I pretty much think that the music industry should give her an award for bringing music back to life. Shes made history in such a short amount of time by breaking sales records and charts records. Lady Gaga is love.
