In typical Britney fashion, she candidly spilled the beans that there is going to be a fourth single from the “Femme Fatale” album and it will be “Criminal”. The mid tempo track will be the follow up to “I Wanna Go”. I like the choice. After 3 up tempo singles, it should be nice to get something to slow things down a bit. Expect the new single to drop on radios soon. Britney also said that she already has an idea in mind for the music video. I can’t wait to see that.

Beyonce scooped three awards at the MTV Europe Music Awards at the ceremony to mark the tearing down of the Berlin Wall 20 years ago.

The singer was awarded the best female, best song for Halo, and the best video for Single Ladies [Put a Ring on It].

She told the audience: “I have to dedicate this award to all the other beautiful artists. Thank you MTV for this wonderful honour,” upon receiving her best female award.

Jay-Z, Beyonce’s hip-hop musician husband, won the best urban act category. He said: “I look forward to the day when all those walls come down.”

Beyonce stepped up after her husband’s speech and performed Sweet Dreams.

Eminem won best male act. He thanked his supporters in a video message.

Katy Perry hosted the prestigious event, which included a video tribute to the late king of pop, Michael Jackson.

The network says that they got the consent and support of the late entertainer?s family before choosing to run the eight-episode series which features him working with real life drug addicts and their families to help them overcome substance abuse. MTV released a statement saying ?It is our hope through airing this show that people will get to see the side of Adam that we knew and loved, not just the celebrity DJ, but the honest and caring person who gave so much of himself to help others.? The series will premiere on Monday.

The All-American Rejects got busy in New York City this week starting off with a special performance of their hit single “Gives You Hell.”

They took the stage with house band Wale at MTV’s VMAs show where front man Tyson Ritter debuted a new glittery look. After rocking the proverbial house, Ritter caught up with MTV news

and confirmed the long standing rumor that he will in fact be teaming up with pop powerhouse Rihanna for a yet to be recorded track. With AAR’s stock rising by the day, it only made sense for the quartet to cap their week by ringing the opening bell for the New York Stock Exchange

The 51-year old singer spoke during the Michael Jackson tribute at the beginning of the show and even introduced for Janet Jackson?s performance. The Queen of Pop spoke about her love of Michael and the things that were parallel in their lives. She said that the late singer was ?so unique, so original, so rare. He was a king.? I only have one comment for Madonna though. When talking about someone you?re supposed to be paying a tribute to, I don?t think talking about yourself more is an appropriate thing to do.

Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland has praised Beyonce for how she acted at the recent MTV VMAs.

Beyonce, 28, won the video of the year award and gave up her stage time to 19-year-old Taylor Swift.

Kanye West interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video to say he felt Beyonce deserved to win.

Rowland said: “Beyonce is such a classy, gracious woman. I actually Tweeted that, and everybody was like: ‘It’s so true.’”

She added that she thought Kanye’s interruption was “disturbing”.

She told USmagazine.com: “I think that as a music industry and a fellow artist, it’s important to know that there is room for everybody. Kanye is a genius – no one takes that away from him, but [he should] be moral and be a [good] person.”
