What’s more, she seems to be encouraging everybody else to not approve of them too. This is what Miley Cyrus recently wrote on her twitter about Urban Outfiters: ” Love that everybody is hating on Urban Outfitters. Not only do they steal from artists but every time you give them money you help finance a campaign against gay equality.” Yes, yes… hate on them for being such meanies. It’s good to see Miley Cyrus getting involved in such noble pursuits, but she might do a tad better of a job with a bit of proper grammar, eh? It certainly wouldn’t hurt.

Miley Cyrus poked fun at herself and a few other headline-making celebrities during her opening monologue on Saturday Night Live this past weekend. The Disney singer/actress addressed her previous controversies singing “There’s a photo of me being kissed by some dude and [photographer] Annie Leibovitz trying to get me nude. For those of you who think that’s very crude, I’m sorry that I’m not perfect.” In another verse, she pokes fun at Lindsay Lohan and Tiger Woods, singing “I never stole a necklace or got a DUI. Never cheated on my wife like that golfer guy. So what you can see a little boob from the side? I’m sorry I’m not perfect.” Kristen Wiig and Bobby Moynihan also chimed in, saying “You didn’t make a dirty tape and pass it along. You didn’t text a photo of your dong.” To which Miley replied “Don’t both of these things seem worse than a bong?” Epic. She also did an impersonation of Justin Bieber in a skit.

Sources are saying that Miley Cyrus� handlers knew all about the bong video weeks ago and did everything they could to bury it, including buying off several students. According to sources, a college student contacted one of the Disney actress/singer�s reps to ask if they were willing to make an exchange for their copy of the video. Money was discussed but in the end, they settled for an exchange of hardware � an old MacBook Pro for a brand new one. After that, another student made a similar trade-off for another copy of the video. There could be numerous other trade-offs that aren�t known but we all know that in the end, the video still came out.

Miley Cyrus was originally set to perform the Poison hit �Every Rose has Its Thorn� at the 2010 American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles this past Sunday. However, the Disney singer/actress made a last minute switch and performed her song �Love and Forgiveness� off of her album �Can�t Be Tamed� instead. I wonder if it�s because of the reports that her parents are actually going through a divorce because her mom allegedly had an affair with Poison rock star Bret Michaels. It�s a big possibility. In any case, Miley did well on her performance. I�m glad to see that she managed to keep herself together through these tough times.

Bret Michaels has denied having an affair with Miley Cyrus’ mother, Tish. The Poison rocker was the victim of gossips when Tish Cyrus and husband, Achy Breaky Heart singer Billy Ray Cyrus announced they were splitting up after 17 years of marriage. But Michaels insists he has been friends with the couple “forever” and said there was no truth to the claims. He said: “The answer is no. “It started out with me and Miley simply working on a song together. “Her mum, Tish, likes [Poison hit] Every Rose Has Its Thorn, the first concert Miley ever saw was Poison, and so they wanted to remake it for the new record. “When I was in the studio, Miley came in and sang on my song, a song I wrote for my album Custom Built, and she came over and sang on that and honestly, she did a beautiful job, and that was it.” He told US television’s Fox & Friends: “Then they started with all the controversy.” Michaels, 47, also talked about his recent health woes – including a brain haemorrhage that almost killed him, saying the pain was something he had “never felt” before in his life. “It was the most painful thing you will ever experience,” he told the TV show.

Miley Cyrus’s mum accused of affair with Poison rocker

Miley Cyrus’s father Billy Ray is divorcing her mother after allegedly having a steamy affair with rocker Bret Michaels, according to US reports. US Weekly Magazine claims 43-year-old Tish became romantically involved with the Poison frontman after being married to the Achy Breaky Heart singer for 17 years. And 49-year-old Billy Ray reportedly filed for an official split on October 27 after finding out about her alleged cheating. Michaels, 47, had become “close to the entire family” back in February when he and Miley released the racy duet Nothing To Lose. But he and the teenager’s glamorous blonde mum then supposedly engaged in an extra-marital affair, a source told the magazine. Tish was seen at Michaels’ Los Angeles show back in February 28, and he had once reportedly asked her production company’s help to adapt his book Roses & Thorns into a movie. “Billy Ray was completely unaware of what was going on,” said the source. The crooner is now reported to be seeking joint custody of their three children, Miley, who turns 18 later this month, 16-year-old Braison, and Noah, 10. A rep for Michaels has denied the affair allegation, telling Us Weekly, “There has never been an affair or a fling.”

After 17 years of marriage, Miley Cyrus� parents filed the legal documents in a Tennessee court earlier this week, citing irreconcilable differences. Billy Ray and Tish released a joint statement on the matter, saying �As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. Miley Cyrus has filmed this weekend in Detroit, the video for “Who owns My Heart extracted from the singer’s third album,” Can not Be Tamed�. According to website E! Online, the singer and actress who is 17 years old, worked with the director Robert Hales, who has helped her make the video for the song giving the album title. The same site says that the song will be promoted only in Europe, and for the United States, Miley chose to release the song “Two More Lonely People�. Even if we do not have details about this video, it appears that it will continue to promote a more mature and sexy actress of “Hannah Montana.”

The singer/actress said �The next film I’m doing is not for the [Hannah Montana] audience. But that is why I did the last season, for my young fans. I want the fans that have grown up with me from 16-26 who will respond to older material. I have to choose scripts that are right for someone who is 18 because that is me. It’s very different going from a show with a huge audience and fan base to something�independent. But I’m excited to work on a film that is going to touch people. It’s edgy and different and I don’t know how the fans will react, but it’s something I can relate to.�

Miley Cyrus is showing off that she has some insightful observational skills by talking about what she considers to a double standard in her attitudes about her skanky ways versus someone like Zac Efron. The pop star who claims she doesn�t listen to pop music said �Well, I love Zac Efron, but what�s he selling? He�s gorgeous, he�s hot, I don�t go see his movie because I�m like, �He�s such a fantastic actor.� He�s a great actor, but he�s hot. He�s just not in a leotard with his legs out. He has his shirt off. So what�s the difference? In �High School Musical�� he�s in basketball shorts and his cutoff tank top and all the girls are dying. It just isn�t as obvious when guys do it. I was on tour with the Jonas Brothers my first year and boy bands get away with a lot. For girls, it�s always going to be harder. That�s not an excuse, it just means we have to work harder.� She has a point. And if you repeat that to someone else, I will hunt you down.

After all, she�s going to be eighteen by then and this time she can do something really neat: leave the country for her party. The Disney princess/actress/singer has said that because �Miley has been in the spotlight longer than I have�I go to her.� Demi even admits to texting Miley even when she�s crying and stressed out, adding �She’ll reply back, ‘All right, here’s what you do.’ She’s the sweetest thing in the world.� I get how you can look up to someone or ask for help because they�ve been around longer but I highly doubt that Miley is the most competent one out there to approach. The teen pair headed out for sushi in West Hollywood to talk about ?a side project?, Cyrus said.

Bieber reportedly joked with photographers that the Hannah Montana star was “having fun with me?, Us Magazine reports.

Cyrus declared she was not ?afraid? of the reaction of the teen heart-throb’s legion of fans, after reality star Kim Kardashian reportedly received death threats after spending time with Bieber at the White House Correspondents’ dinner.

Previously, Bieber and Cyrus have both publicly said they weren’t interested in the other. The Baby singer has said that she was ?not my type?. Last March Cyrus commented: ?Bieber fever … I’m not necessarily a fan.?
