Miley Cyrus has filmed this weekend in Detroit, the video for “Who owns My Heart extracted from the singer’s third album,” Can not Be Tamed”. According to website E! Online, the singer and actress who is 17 years old, worked with the director Robert Hales, who has helped her make the video for the song giving the album title. The same site says that the song will be promoted only in Europe, and for the United States, Miley chose to release the song “Two More Lonely People”. Even if we do not have details about this video, it appears that it will continue to promote a more mature and sexy actress of “Hannah Montana.”
Billy Ray Cyrus has gotten himself a new band called Brother Clyde and they are all set to release a new album on August 10th. I’m pretty sure they’re going to head straight to Walmart’s bargain bins. If you’re like me and thought that the washed up country star being in the band was weird, wait until you find out who else is in it. Billy Ray is joined by Hole’s Samantha Maloney on drums, theSTART and Snot’s Jamie Miller and Dan Knight on guitars, Dave Henning on bass and rapper King Phaze. The group already has a single out. Honestly, I could care less.
Her new music can’t be tamed and apparently, neither can her film career. It’s been a while but Miley Cyrus is at it again and talking more crap about how she’s an adult now and needs to take on more adults roles. The singer/actress said “The next film I’m doing is not for the [Hannah Montana] audience. But that is why I did the last season, for my young fans. I want the fans that have grown up with me from 16-26 who will respond to older material. I have to choose scripts that are right for someone who is 18 because that is me. It’s very different going from a show with a huge audience and fan base to something…independent. But I’m excited to work on a film that is going to touch people. It’s edgy and different and I don’t know how the fans will react, but it’s something I can relate to.”
Kristen Stewart recently had an interview where she talked about the music she listened to in order to prepare her for her role as the ‘Twilight’ saga’s Bella Swan. I’m shocked at what the pathetic actress said. Kristen said “I just listened to my normal music. Bella’s less tortured. She’s less conflicted. I mean … it’s the most she’s conflicted about the love triangle [but] that happens sort of at the end. But I don’t know, ‘The Climb’ is my theme song — and I’m sticking to it.” Who would have thought that the edgy Kristen actually likes Miley Cyrus? I would have thought that she would name some random hipster band.
Miley Cyrus is showing off that she has some insightful observational skills by talking about what she considers to a double standard in her attitudes about her skanky ways versus someone like Zac Efron. The pop star who claims she doesn’t listen to pop music said “Well, I love Zac Efron, but what’s he selling? He’s gorgeous, he’s hot, I don’t go see his movie because I’m like, ‘He’s such a fantastic actor.’ He’s a great actor, but he’s hot. He’s just not in a leotard with his legs out. He has his shirt off. So what’s the difference? In ‘High School Musical’… he’s in basketball shorts and his cutoff tank top and all the girls are dying. It just isn’t as obvious when guys do it. I was on tour with the Jonas Brothers my first year and boy bands get away with a lot. For girls, it’s always going to be harder. That’s not an excuse, it just means we have to work harder.” She has a point. And if you repeat that to someone else, I will hunt you down.
Even though there are still a good number of days before November comes trotting along, Miley Cyrus is already making plans for her birthday. After all, she’s going to be eighteen by then and this time she can do something really neat: leave the country for her party. This is what Miley Cyrus said about her birthday plans: “I hope I can just have a frickin’ break. Because I haven’t had time, even a week to chill. So I’m probably just going to go to the beach or something. I’ll take about 10 of my friends with me and hang out with the people I never really get to see. A lot of my friends, they work, and I’m in the business too so I’ll make sure we carve out some time so we can relax.” Considering it’s a coming-off age party, doubtful that Miley Cyrus will relax during that time… after all, she will then the able to get acquainted with the ultimate party friend: alcohol.
Demi Lovato has told sources that she thinks that Miley Cyrus is the sweetest thing in the world. The Disney princess/actress/singer has said that because “Miley has been in the spotlight longer than I have…I go to her.” Demi even admits to texting Miley even when she’s crying and stressed out, adding “She’ll reply back, ‘All right, here’s what you do.’ She’s the sweetest thing in the world.” I get how you can look up to someone or ask for help because they’ve been around longer but I highly doubt that Miley is the most competent one out there to approach. Here’s to hoping that Demi wouldn’t get led down the wrong path because of Miley Cyrus.

The teen pair headed out for sushi in West Hollywood to talk about a side project, Cyrus said.
Bieber reportedly joked with photographers that the Hannah Montana star was “having fun with me, Us Magazine reports.
Cyrus declared she was not afraid of the reaction of the teen heart-throb’s legion of fans, after reality star Kim Kardashian reportedly received death threats after spending time with Bieber at the White House Correspondents’ dinner.
Previously, Bieber and Cyrus have both publicly said they weren’t interested in the other. The Baby singer has said that she was not my type. Last March Cyrus commented: Bieber fever … I’m not necessarily a fan.
The MuchMusic Video Awards are definitely bringing in the big guns this year and I bet that they are going to kill it! Not only will Miley Cyrus be co-hosting the show but Katy Perry and Justin Bieber have been added as performers. While I could care less about the Disney teen queen, I cannot wait to see what the I Kissed a Girl singer and the teen pop heartthrob will do to rock the house. He was the best friend I’ve ever had, but Kurt and I were only married for three years, and now I need to have my own life. I’m always ‘the widow’ and that drives me nuts. That money has been cursed since the day it started to come in. There are worst people to have hold of that catalogue. What if Miley Cyrus gets her hands on it? Miley Cyrus has announced on The View that she wont be doing any more albums for a while so she can concentrate on her acting career. The singer/actress said I have a record coming out in June and that’s going to be the last thing I do in music for a while. I just want to do films cause I like being someone else. My music is kind of like my diary. I’ll always do that I just feel like the music industry isn’t as positive as I’d like it to be. It sounds to me like someone is getting too big for her own britches.
The singer recently spoke about her godmother, Dolly Parton, and she had only the nicest things to say about the person she considers to be the nicest in the whole world. This is what Miley Cyrus said about her godmother: “She is the nicest person in the world. She’s so easy to talk to. She’s awesome. I love her. She always tells me just to do what I love and if I’m not having fun it’s not working. I don’t know how old she is at this point but every time she is on the stage she is smiling from ear to ear.” Well, old people can smile too, its not only a youngster thing. Its good that Miley Cyrus has somebody to turn to for solid advice and look how well its all working out for her.
It looks like the fate of the wigs that Miley Cyrus wore while playing Hannah Montana has finally been revealed. This is what the singer said would happen to the famed props of her Disney acting days: “One will be in a museum and one will be burned. I just can’t put it on again.” Thats a relief for a moment there one wouldve thought that Miley Cyrus wouldve still been wearing the one wig to be burned. And if the other gets sent to a museum the singer will always have something to remember her golden years by as time passes.
Unfortunately for her, it will be a directed one. The singer and kids star is now going to try her hand at a grown-up movie called The last song, based on a novel by Nicholas Sparks, much like the recently launched Dear John. When the star of the latter, Amanda Seyfried, was asked what if Miley Cyrus movie would also have been released this week-end she replied: “If The Last Song was coming out the same weekend as Dear John, we’d have to collaborate on some sort of sabotage mission.” Well, well, it looks like Miley Cyrus might be returning in full force. Either that or thats just a little nudge from her future colleagues, a sort of welcome if you will.
Simon Cowell did a mighty fine job organizing and finding artists to sing on the cover of REMs hit Everybody Hurts. The cover features some of the biggest artists on the UK and US music scenes. The song will be available for download on Sunday, February 7, and released on CD the following day. In a recent interview with Seventeen magazine, Miley Cyrus talked about who she looks up to the most. The Disney star said that she really looks up to her fellow singer Beyonce. Miley said I want to be like Beyonce. She is the ultimate woman. You look at her and you don’t think, I wonder what her personal life is like. You look at her and you go, that girl on the stage is a superstar. You don’t care about anything else; you only care about her music. So I would hope that would be me in the future. Considering the things that Miley does and what she wears, I highly doubt that its in her future.

While getting an order at Pop Burger, when she was asked for her name to be put on the order, Miley Cyrus became a bit snappy with the counter worker saying: “Are you serious? You don’t recognize me? I’m Miley Cyrus.” His answer probably didnt make things much better: “That’s nice for you. Here is your order. Have a good day.” You have to hand it to the guy he played it really cool. One of Miley Cyrus tour buses was part of a deadly crash that took place on Friday about 45 minutes south of Richmond, Virginia. The buses were on the way to Greensboro, North Carolina for a show this past Sunday when one of the 4 vehicles in the singers convoy drifted off the road and overturned. One person, the bus driver, died, while 9 others sustained minor injuries. State police said that the roads were wet from rain the night before but were not to blame for the crash. An investigation went on to determine why the bus drifted. Early reports are saying that the driver suffered a cardiac arrest while driving. Mind you, Mileys concert in North Carolina went on as planned.
Although Timbaland has a lot of major contributors to his new album Shock Value II, the producer was surprisingly taken with Miley Cyrus. He said Man, shes gonna be like Justin [Timberlake]. She comes from that same musical background, where shes just got it. Her voice is just there. The best way to put it is shes special. When I worked with her, I was very impressed. I was like, Whoa. I know how the Disney star is coming off as some sort of sensation but I doubt that Mileys going to achieve the same thing that Justin has. And considering what the pop/R&B singer has done with his career, I doubt anyone would want to be compared to the guy.

Miley Cyrus alleged stalker will not be facing any attempted stalking charges after a jury ruled that there wasnt enough evidence to convict him. Mark McLeod was arrested twice over the summer when the Disney star was filming The Last Song in Georgia. Not only did he make inappropriate comments to some of the singer/actress fans but he also claimed that he was engaged to Miley who sent him secret messages on Hannah Montana. However, the grand jury at the Chatham County State Court had the final say on what happens to him and they agreed that they couldnt indict him due to the lack of evidence. Heres to hoping that he doesnt cause any more problems.
According to a recent online poll, Miley Cyrus is considered to be the worst celebrity influence of 2009. I could have told you that without the poll. The singer managed to rack up a whopping 42% of the votes for that category, edging out Britney Spears and Kanye West. Considering the recent happenings regarding the rapper, you know its bad when youre voted to be worse than he is. Sources are chalking it up to the fact that shes seeking a career separate from Disney and her alter-ego Hannah Montana. It really sounds like Miley is heading down the same path that Britney did.

In an attempt to promote her new album The Time of Our Lives, Disney star Miley Cyrus divulges to the Associated Press about the thousands of songs that shes written. The singer talked about writing songs thats too personal, saying Yes, sometimes I write songs just to write them. I have written thousands of songs that are just for me. I will even play them for my friends, and they will say, ‘Will that be on your next record? and I’ll say, No, that was just for me. That was just for my peace of mind. And I think that is important to do that. Not always writing a song and be like, Oh, that is going to be on a record. If it sounds great and it is something that you think goes along with the album that you are putting together, that is awesome. If not then it’s cool. It doesn’t matter.
The fact that her movie just got pushed back doesnt seem to have any effect on Miley Cyrus as she continues to live large. After her concert at the Staples Center on Tuesday night, sources say that the singer showed up at the newly opened Katsuya LA live with an entourage of 100 people. Its not an alcoholic beverage but lets be honest if she wanted one, she could have one.
Larry King managed to get some interesting information during his interview last week with the Jonas Brothers Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas have reconnected. The TV host asked Joe Jonas is his girlfriend was as famous as Nicks girlfriend, to which Joe replied, No, I dont think anyones as famous as Miley Cyrus! I find it funny that it was Joe who pretty much outed his younger brother as he was preaching about wanting to keep their private lives out of the public eye a few minutes before being asked that question. Miley and Nick previously dated back in 2007.
The singer and actress surprised people in Georgia when she took a break from filming The Last Song and sat in with a band performing at a beachside seafood restaurant and played two songs. The restaurants owner related the reactions of those present there: “By the time she finished the first song, there must have been 50 little girls and their moms who came rushing up.” Apparently, they also had a bit of a hard time getting Miley Cyrus out of the restaurant afterwards, the owner relates: “We asked her, `What do you wanna do?’ and she said `I want to get out of here.’ So we walked her to a side entrance nobody knew about and got her in her car.” Oh, Miley Cyrus promoters will probably be furious about this one.
