Carey announced that she wants to release a new Christmas album, after its predecessor, which contained Christmas songs, released in 1994, and became among the most sold discs. The album is scheduled for early November and will include six new songs and a remix of the hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”. Singer would like to join the American Idol judges in the near future. “She is one of the greatest singers of our time, she would fit perfectly. I do not know if she has enough free time, but if she could make a deal with the producers on a program, I know she would be very pleased to participate in this program, “said singer’s husband Nick Cannon.
There is a rumor circulating around the internet today that Mariah Carey is pregnant!?

Mariah Carey ran up a $38,000 tab with a veterinarian who claims that she cared for the curvaceous diva’s puppies 24/7 and even delivered one of them. Dr. Cindy Bressler has filed a lawsuit against the pop singer in Manhattan this week and claims that she provided extraordinary services for three of Mariah’s Jack Russell terriers but that she’s only been paid $8000 out of the $38K bill. Dr. Bressler was said to be in charge of grooming and feeding the dogs while Mariah was in LA promoting ‘Precious’. According to the vet’s attorney, Dr. Bressler also brought one of the dogs into this world by delivering the puppy last year.

It never even occurred to them… or so Nick Cannon has claimed. In the light of the recent rumors that Mariah Carey and her husband might be expecting their first baby together, there have been some questions about their thoughts on adoption and Nick Cannon had this answer to give: “I’ve never really thought about adopting. That’s never really come up. But marriage, you want to have a family, that’s one of the reasons to get married. When the timing is right.” If the rumors that Mariah Carey is pregnant are indeed true, Nick Cannon will sure wish they had adopted then. If she’s any worse when she’s pregnant than she is when she’s… well, herself, there is only one thing to do: run to the hills!

Well, there’s nothing too new or shocking in that, but the way Nick Cannon expresses it and the idea he’s trying to get across don’t really match up. This is what he said about Mariah Carey: ”Imagine if you’ve got the diva of all divas. If we’ve got to be somewhere at five or six o’clock, I tell her it’s time to go at noon so she gets those five hours to do what she needs to do.” How Nick Cannon can actually consider that to be a good thing is purely beyond understanding, but hey, if he likes waiting around for more than a sixth of his day, why try to stop him?

The music business has not been kind to Mariah Carey in the past year. After two push backs and a dismal first release of a studio album last year, the singer�s remix album �Angels Advocate� has been cancelled only a month away from its release date. A statement from her people confirmed the news but they didn�t say why it has been cancelled. In the meantime, reps for the singer say that she is looking to the future and is in the early stage of constructing a brand new album and maybe even a Christmas album. I say she should just quit when she�s ahead.

The song has even received the honor of being the longest chart topping song in the country�s history. That�s absolutely crazy. Congratulations all the same to Mariah Carey. The Brazilians just saved your music career so you better do something good to thank them.

Simon Cowell Does REM

Simon Cowell did a mighty fine job organizing and finding artists to sing on the cover of REM�s hit �Everybody Hurts�. The cover features some of the biggest artists on the UK and US music scenes. The song will be available for download on Sunday, February 7, and released on CD the following day. The song features the voices of Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Jon Bon Jovi, Kylie Minogue, Miley Cyrus, Susan Boyle, Mika, Michael Buble and more. Mariah Carey showed everyone her giving spirit by throwing a grand party for 35 neglected kids last week. The 39-year old singer made arrangements to rent out the city-owned Aspen Recreation Center and invited 35 kids under the care of the local child protection services department for a party complete with magicians, entertainers and storytellers. This isn�t the first time that the curvaceous diva has thrown a party for less fortunate kids in Aspen. According to the Aspen Times, some locals claim that Mariah has been doing this for over 10 years. Apparently, going to Aspen for the holidays isn�t just a vacation for her.

I don�t think this is going to be a disaster � I know for a fact that it will.

Sources are saying that the two ladies refused to be photographed together and didn�t even speak for the whole night. Just as it was predicted, Mariah Carey is going downhill. According to Hits Daily Double, the singer�s �Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel� displayed some lacklustre sales, as her album was overshadowed by both Paramore and Barbra Streisand, coming in at a lowly number 3. Any other time in Mariah�s music career and you would have easily predicted that she�s going to be at the top of the mountain. But to be topped by a young band and an iconic diva who didn�t even do any promotion for her album, all I can say is that it�s a long way down for Mariah.

Singer Mariah Carey seems to have lost her diva ways.

Carey allegedly doesn’t insist on been photographed from the right-hand side anymore like she used to.

The 40-year-old said: “I don’t feel like, ‘Oh I have to be on this side, or I have to be on this side’. I really had specific things that someone told me when I was 19 and starting in the business and I listened to them. I don’t care anymore.”

The superstar, who is renowned for been a diva, is currently travelling around the US promoting her new album and fragrance.

The Heartbreaker singer has also recently addressed rumours that she and her actor/comedian husband Nick Cannon are going to have kids, saying that the they will have them one day.

Singer Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon keep their love alive when they are apart with phone sex, he has revealed.

Comedian and actor Cannon has admitted to keeping the passion alive with Carey, 40, with saucy long-distance phone calls.

The 28-year-old said: “There’s lots of phone sex!”

The pair are currently apart while Carey is travelling around the States to promote her new album Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel and her new scent, Forever.

The couple married in 2008.

Eminem Drops Diss Track for Mariah and Nick

It looks like we have yet to see the end of the Eminem VS Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey story. The rapper has recently released a track called �The Warning� which completely eviscerates the curvaceous singer and her husband. In the song, Eminem claims to have naked pictures of Mariah which he threatens to release and he calls Nick the F word, amongst other things. We can all be sure that Nick will have something to say about this. But of course, we also don�t expect that it will be as massive as what Eminem has to say. Nick should just admit defeat now.

Mariah Carey�s mediocre single �Obsessed� debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at a very disappointing number 11. The new charts came in recently and as it was predicted, the singer has suffered a steep decline. Mariah�s single has dropped to number 20 and it�s likely that it won�t even crack the top 10 at all. Radio hasn�t been that receptive to the song and Mariah had just announced that she is delaying the release of her new album. That sucks for her. She needs to come out with a new song and hope that it will do loads better than the song that�s out right now.

New Madonna Album

It is being reported that Madonna�s final album with Warner Brothers is going to be called �Iconography�. The greatest hits collection will include three new tracks. The album is also said to be looking at a mid-September release. It looks like September will be the month of the divas. Barbara Streisand will be releasing an album of all new material on the same month. Whitney Houston�s comeback album �Undefeated� will also be out in September. And Mariah Carey�s �Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel� will also see a September release. How will Madonna�s album hold up in the battle of the divas? Who do you think is going to come out on top?

The former rapper has recently written on his blog about how Eminem openly attacked his relationship with wife Mariah Carey. Nick Cannon wrote: “Not only has his music not evolved, but also homeboy is still obsessed with my wife. The same female that wouldn’t let him get to second base from 8 years ago. This so-called man has just disrespected and slenderized one of the world’s most significantly influential artists, one of the most notable BLACK females of our time, the incredibly cherished, globally loved and world-embraced woman of color, Mariah Carey.� Nick Cannon also prompted Eminem for the two of them to deal with the problem: “Man to man, let’s meet up and deal with this like adults. This is my invitation to you, whenever and wherever you like sir.” Indeed, very mature of Nick Cannon to want to kick Eminem�s ass for a song. And very mature of Eminem to be so direct with his lyrics and not try a more subtle approach� society has indeed evolved from its earlier cave days.

Mariah Carey performed live on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! Show during a concert at Babylon Court at Hollywood and Highland last week in Hollywood. The 38-year old curvaceous diva performed five songs and even featured a guest appearance by rapper Young Jeezy. She performed ?Shake It Off?, ?We Belong Together?, ?I?m That Chick?, and a medley of ?I?ll Be Lovin? U/Touch My Body?. The mini concert served as a kickoff for the 2008 Samsung AT&T Summer Krush tour which also includes the participation of Gavin Rossdale, LeAnn Rimes, Nelly, Smashing Pumpkins and Good Charlotte. All those stars and they still enlisted the help of Nick Cannon?s lip synching wife.

This piece of news is already getting old but if it?s happening, I might as well write about it. According to the new Soundscan singles chart, Madonna knocks off Mariah Carey from the top spot this week. The Queen of Pop?s ?4 Minutes (To Save the World)? stays even with sales from last week but the curvaceous diva?s ?Touch My body? drops more than 40% in sales to come in at the number 4 spot. That doesn?t bode well for Mariah?s single or her album. Considering that it?s not even out yet and sales are already dropping, it may result in a flop. Maybe that full album leak has something to do with it.
