In a recent interview with Perez Hilton, Nick Cannon had a few things to say about Mariah Carey’s upcoming album: “She’s very inspired by her early work. She’s been listening to her first two albums quite a bit. I think it’s gonna’ be good though because I think she’s gonna’ bring music back to the game and that’s her job so she’s excited about being able to be musical and bring the voice back.” Right… so bottom line, Mariah Carey’s new album is going to be a lot more musical… as opposed to her previous work which was something else, at least according to Nick Cannon.
Now we can see exactly what’s going on here: Mariah Carey is still a diva, but she’s a very subtle diva. This new little stunt with her dogs is irrefutable proof of it: it seems that the singer has arranged for special therapy for her four Jack Russell terriers because they can supposedly be very possessive and jealous in regards their owners and they need to be prepared of the arrival of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s twins. Then again it might not be such a far-fetched thing to do since Mariah Carey’s kids will be outnumbered two to one by her dogs. But perhaps sometime in the future Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon will also bring balance to this part of their lives.

Mariah Carey has found herself on top of the charts granted its Billboards new Holiday Digital Songs chart but Im still happy for her. The pop singers first single from her new Christmas album Merry Christmas II You is the number 1 song on the new chart. Ironically, the number 2 song is her classic All I Want for Christmas is You. I dont think any Christmas song will ever surpass that one in overall numbers but heres hoping that the new album comes close. Congratulations to Mariah for finally getting another hit. Dr. Cindy Bressler has filed a lawsuit against the pop singer in Manhattan this week and claims that she provided extraordinary services for three of Mariahs Jack Russell terriers but that shes only been paid $8000 out of the $38K bill. Dr. Bressler was said to be in charge of grooming and feeding the dogs while Mariah was in LA promoting Precious. According to the vets attorney, Dr. Bressler also brought one of the dogs into this world by delivering the puppy last year.
It never even occurred to them or so Nick Cannon has claimed. In the light of the recent rumors that Mariah Carey and her husband might be expecting their first baby together, there have been some questions about their thoughts on adoption and Nick Cannon had this answer to give: “I’ve never really thought about adopting. It looks like we have yet to see the end of the Eminem VS Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey story. That doesn?t bode well for Mariah?s single or her album. Considering that it?s not even out yet and sales are already dropping, it may result in a flop. Maybe that full album leak has something to do with it.
She may have conquered the iTunes singles chart but I guess that?s the only positive thing that we can expect from Mariah Carey. The curvaceous singer?s new single ?Touch My Body? is not on the number 15 spot on the Billboard singles chart this week. The song has been on the chart for six weeks but has failed to even just break into the top 10 having only peaked at a high of the number 14 spot last week. But with her single being number 1 on iTunes, here?s to hoping that the digital downloads will help her even just for a little bit.

Just a few days ago, the Queen of Pop?s upcoming album ?Hard Candy? was at the number 18 spot on the Amazon best sellers list for CDs and it?s not even out until the end of April. Just yesterday, the album is already at number 2. It?s not quite the top, but she?s getting there. Mariah Carey managed to move up on the list as well. She?s at number 40 ? a far distance from Madonna but at least she?s already on the list. Her record will be out a full 2 weeks before Madonna?s and she wasn?t even on the top 100 of the list a couple of days ago.
