Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and the LA Lakers are getting sued by a company that claims that they all used knockoffs of their big screen in concert. Large Audience Display Systems says in a federal lawsuit filed in Texas that the concerts in question used a large audience display screen that was identical to their patented gigantic monitors. Britney uses the screen on her Circus tour. Justin used the monitors on his FutureSex/LoveShow tour and the Lakers use them for the games. The Pussycat Dolls were also involved in the lawsuit. The company wants an injunction prohibiting the defendants from using the knockoffs in the future as well as unspecified damages.
Although Timbaland has a lot of major contributors to his new album ‘Shock Value II’, the producer was surprisingly taken with Miley Cyrus. He said “Man, she’s gonna be like Justin [Timberlake]. She comes from that same musical background, where she’s just got it. Her voice is just there. The best way to put it is she’s special. When I worked with her, I was very impressed. I was like, ‘Whoa.’” I know how the Disney star is coming off as some sort of sensation but I doubt that Miley’s going to achieve the same thing that Justin has. And considering what the pop/R&B singer has done with his career, I doubt anyone would want to be compared to the guy.
The woman accused of stalking Justin Timberlake has also once stalked Guns N Roses lead singer Axl Rose. But the two singers aren’t her only victims. Alleged stalker Karen McNeil has also been banned from getting anywhere close to the members of Metallica, when the band got a restraining order against her back in March. The documents were filed in LA County Superior Court by drummer Lars Ulrich, who requested that the crazy woman stay at least 150 yards away from all members of the band, their families and the people who run the Metallica fan club. Talk about being a professional stalker!
The woman accused of stalking Justin Timberlake has a Guns N Roses connection. Apparently, a judge had already banned the woman from getting near the band’s lead singer Axl Rose. Karen McNeil, who Justin calls an “obsessed mentally unstable celebrity stalker”, was already sentenced to a year in jail after repeatedly disobeying a court order banning her from coming within 300 yards of Axl’s property. At the time, she told officials that she was Axl’s wife and communicated with him telepathically. Say what? The hounding didn’t stop with jail time though as the woman reportedly continued to send Axl letters from behind bars. Crazy!

I guess he’s taking advantage of less competition. Unfortunately for fans of Justin’s music, his reps say to not expect a concert at the show. JT is scheduled to be present at the show but there will be no performance. I wish he would just stop pretending and just give the people what they want. I doubt they will be going to his show to see clothes. People will go there just to see Justin.
Timbaland is coming out with a new album and it is once again filled with names you can only see on the A-list. ‘Shock Value: Volume 2’ is the follow up to his 2007 release and it is due to come out in stores on February 14th. Once again, the record features his most frequent collaborator Justin Timberlake. Justin Timberlake sings on the album’s lead single ‘Meltdown’ alongside Gwen Stefani. The song will be released to radio on January 5th. After seeing steamy pictures of Rihanna and Justin Timberlake shooting the video for the Barbadian babe’s song ‘Rehab’, I can’t help but say ‘finally!’. The music video was just recently released. The video was shot last month in Vasquez Rocks Park, just outside of Los Angeles. JT and producer pal Timbaland wrote the song and also contributed backing vocals in the bridge. Anthony Mandler directed this Rihanna video. He has done so for the tenth time! And as usual, it is amazing! Hey, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. And his partnership with Rihanna as her director is working pretty damn well.
Justin Timberlake is being sued by a busboy who claims that the former boy band member doesnt treat employees at his Manhattan restaurant Southern Hospitality fairly claiming that the joint didnt pay him a legal wage. Felipe Ramales alleges in federal lawsuit that he worked for the restaurant for about a year. The suit says that he and other staffers didnt get their proper share of a gratuity charge the restaurant automatically collected from parties with 6 or more diners. Ramales also claimed that he worked more than 40 hours per week without getting overtime. A manager at the restaurant says the tip allegations are false and all staffers made well about the legal minimum wage.

Records “HARD CANDY” is scheduled to have a global release on April 28th and a US release on April 29th, it was confirmed by her label. “HARD CANDY” (the follow up to Madonna’s “CONFESSIONS ON A DANCE FLOOR” which debuted at No. 1 in 30 countries and sold over 8 million copies), has been described as a brilliant up-tempo collection of 12 songs in which Madonna remains ensconced in club mode but this time adds an urban hip hop beat in collaboration with musical partners Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes and Nate “Danja” Hills. It?s not the Oscar?s but Justin Timberlake is still hosting some type of award show. It has just been confirmed recently that JT will be hosting the annual ESPY Awards show this summer. The ceremony will take place in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre on July 20th. The ESPYs celebrate the best and funniest moments in sports throughout the year. The single is their collaboration off of Madonna?s upcoming record ?Hard Candy? which will drop in stores internationally on April 28. What do you think about it? Is it hot or not? But I guess, much like the song itself, it?s all just in the hype only for you to get disappointed in the end. Both of them can do better!

According to the Associated Press, MTV has banned the video because of the strobe effects in it. Apparently, it doesn’t pass the Harding Test, which determines whether or not something will trigger epileptic seizures.

John Mayer may be a douche bag but you can?t deny that he?s really good. The cocky singer just uploaded a new video to his YouTube account and the video is phenomenal. He grabbed his signature instrument, the guitar, and did his own interpretations of Justin Timberlake?s ?I Think She Knows/Lovestoned Interlude?. It?s really amazing. He was able to use his guitar for both rhythm and bass simultaneously.
But if you know of John?s background, it shouldn?t be surprising. He is classically trained on guitar after all. He?s bound to know all the tricks of the trade that makes us go ?wow?.
