Fan Rushes Jonas Brothers Concert

A rabid male fan crashed the stage at a Jonas Brothers concert this past weekend in Madrid. I never knew they actually had male fans, but anyway. Unlike Britney Spears who infamously screamed when the same thing happened to her at one of her gigs, the band of cuties just kept on playing. It was a pretty hilarious sight. The guys were still playing and singing their little hearts out while the fan was running around in circles trying to get away from security and ripping his shirt off. There’s yet another story that they can tell the grandkids – not!

Taylor Swift’s Hilarious SNL Monologue

If you missed out on Taylor Swift’s guest hosting gig on Saturday Night Live, you pretty much missed on one of the greatest episodes of the comedy show ever. The country singer sang and played guitar to ‘Monologue Song (La La La)’. She killed it! Here are some sample lyrics: “You might think I’d bring up Joe [Jonas], that guy who broke up with me on the phone, but I’m not gonna mention him in my monologue. Hey Joe, I’m doing real well. Tonight, I’m hosting SNL but I’m not gonna brag about that in my monologue. La la la. Ha ha ha. La la la.”; And if you’re wondering if I might be dating the werewolf from Twilight. Hey Taylor [Lautner]! (blows kiss, winks) But I’m not gonna comment on that in my monologue.”; and “You might be expecting me to say something bad about Kanye [West] and how he ran up on stage and ruined my VMA monologue. But there’s nothing more to say cuz everything’s okay. I’ve got security lining the stage. It’s my SNL monologue.”

Tokio Hotel Win MTV EMA

Tokio Hotel took home the “Best Group” award at the MTV European Music Awards in Berlin beating out the likes of Black Eyed Peas, Jonas Brothers, Kings of Leon and Green Day. Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav also rocked an epic performance of their international single “World Behind My Wall” complete with insane pyro and explosive stage effects. The track appears on the recently released Humanoid album.

Kevin Jonas has revealed that he will be having both of his brothers as best men at his wedding

Kevin Jonas has revealed that he will be having both of his brothers as best men at his wedding.

Kevin, 21, recently proposed to his girlfriend Danielle Deleasa and there was speculation as to who he would choose as his best man.

He said to PEOPLE: “I decided that it’s going to be both Joe and Nick. Dani has an older and a younger sister, so it works out really well. I can have two best men, and she can have two maids of honour.”

Brothers Nick, 17, and Joe, 19, are living up to their squeaky-clean image and say that his bachelor party will be a clean affair.

Nick said: “It will be good, clean fun. We’re going to have a good time with friends and family.”

Joe added: “It won’t be in Vegas. Vegas is not really the ideal place. We are thinking somewhere even cooler and better.”

Nick added: “It’s a big deal, but Kevin kind of has already planned it himself. He will give us suggestions on what he would like and we keep on trying to tell him no.

“We’re like: ‘You have no involvement in planning this. Just get ready to have a good time.”

The Best and Worst in Music This Year

The past year has treated many artists in the music industry very well but there are also others that didn’t have as much luck with their new releases. The biggest albums of the year sales-wise are Taylor Swift’s ‘Fearless’ which sold 3.7 million, Michael Jackson’s ‘#1’s’ which sold 3 million, Beyonce’s ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’ which sold 2.4 million and the soundtrack for the movie ‘Twilight’ which sold 2.2 million. However, not everyone can do well. The Jonas Brothers fever seems to be dying down because the boys only managed to sell 520,000 copies of their new album. Disney starlet Demi Lovato also bombed selling only 240,000 copies of her album. Jordin Sparks, Green Day and Kelly Clarkson are also on the list of so-called failures.

The Jonas Brothers buy $2.8m home in Texas

Boyband The Jonas Brothers have bought a $2.8m home in Texas.

The boys have reportedly bought a new pad together in the Dallas suburb of Westlake.

According to American newspaper The Dallas Morning News, the trio, consisting of Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15, have bought an expensive six-bedroom house in a gated community known as “Vaquero”.

The boys, who currently reside in Los Angeles, will be neighbours to former British Open Champion Brian Watts and major leaguer Mark Teixeira.

Jonas Brother Attacked by a Bra

The Jonas Brothers were recently under attack! A hormonally charged teenager, or her desperate mother, chucked a bra onto the stage at the band’s concert last weekend. Joe Jonas seemed to be the target but he ducked away from the piece of lingerie as if it was a bomb that was ready to blow. It’s ok man, it’s just some cotton and spandex – or maybe it was lace. He should just deal with it like Nick Jonas did. Nick was spotted laughing hard when he saw how Joe ducked that thing. Honestly people, there were minors in that audience. Nobody needed to see that.

More American Idol Guest Judges

Joe Jonas will be serving as a guest judge for this week’s set of American Idol auditions. It also seems that we’ll be seeing more guest judges as the season goes by. An insider recently told Pop Tarts that “At this stage it doesn’t look like Paula [Abdul] will be replaced by one person. The celebrity judges are working really well for now.” Other celebrities who will be joining Season 9 regular judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi include the likes of Shania Twain and Jennifer Lopez. Victoria Beckham and Mary J Blige have already finished their run as guest judges. Also, the original American Idol, Kelly Clarkson, is said to be in negotiations to be a guest judge.

The eldest of the Jonas Brothers, Kevin Jonas, recently got engaged and he is quick to open up about when he proposed to his long time girlfriend Danielle Deleasa. The singer had just returned to his native New Jersey from a show in Vancouver when he planned to pop the question on Wednesday morning. Kevin said “It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world.” Danielle was thrilled as Kevin shared “She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row.” I believe in true love and all that but I sure hope he gets a prenup.

Joe Jonas Outs Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus

Larry King managed to get some interesting information during his interview last week with the Jonas Brothers – Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas have reconnected. The TV host asked Joe Jonas is his girlfriend was as famous as Nick’s girlfriend, to which Joe replied, “No, I don’t think anyone’s as famous as Miley Cyrus!” I find it funny that it was Joe who pretty much outed his younger brother as he was preaching about wanting to keep their private lives out of the public eye a few minutes before being asked that question. Miley and Nick previously dated back in 2007.

Mr Jonas goes to Washington… and meets President Obama

Nick Jonas has gone to Washington DC to speak to President Obama about federal funding for diabetes research.

The youngest member of the Jonas Brothers was pictured at the White House with the US leader and children who are living with diabetes.

Jonas, 16, is a sufferer and is currently starring in TV adverts about the disease.

This week he joins boxer Sugar Ray Leonard and actress Mary Tyler Moore as the trio testify before a Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee hearing on federal funding for diabetes research.

Leonard doesn’t personally have the disease, which has affected his family, but Moore does.

Jonas, who first revealed he has Type 1 diabetes while performing at a Diabetes Research Institute fundraising in 2007, also had a private meeting with Frank Lautenberg the Democratic senator from New Jersey.

The Jonas Brothers were recently on the BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and they completely destroyed Katy Perry’s beautiful ballad ‘Thinking of You’. It was utterly painful to listen to. How can they do this? Do they hate Katy? The brothers’ rendition of the song featured violins, guitars and poorly placed harmonies. Here’s to hoping that Katy doesn’t hear their version or she might go on a rampage. They totally took everything that was good in the song and threw it all away. The emotion was completely lost. And that was what made the song work in the first place!

Did you know that Nick Jonas has a duet with his ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus on the Jonas Brothers’ new album? The song is called ‘Before the Storm’. In their case, shouldn’t it have been called ‘After the Storm’? I wonder if this caused any trouble for Miley and her older boyfriend Justin Gaston. But wait! The singer and the model have reportedly broken up as things between them have been rocky for a while. I wonder if Nick being in Miley’s life had anything to do with it. The Jonas Brother was seen having lunch with Miley a couple of months back.

A tip for first time writers is to write what you know. Taylor Swift constantly does that with every hit song she’s come out with so I guess it’s about time that other people do that too. I guess Joe Jonas took some notes as the song ‘Much Better’ off of the new Jonas Brothers album pretty much takes a shot at Joe’s ex-girlfriend. The lyrics go “And all the tears on her guitar, I’m not bitter. But now I see, everything I’d ever need, Is the girl in front of me, She’s much better.” They’re obviously referring to the country singing cutie’s ‘Teardrops on My Guitar’.

The mother of the singing trio, The Jonas Brothers, apparently prays for her three sons every night. But there is no mention of good health, prosperity and good luck in those prayers… no, Denise Jonas prays that her sons will remain virgins until they are married. She said: “They are men. They have desires. They have testosterone. If they make a mistake, I’m not going to hate them. I don’t think they are above or below being seduced. I would be foolish if I thought that. I pray for them.” Well, no, actually, The Jonas Brothers are boys, they are teenage boys, which makes it all the more worse, but their mother shouldn’t fear anything. As long as she keeps them away from Lady GaGa, everything should be fine.

Jonas Brothers Do Not Sing About Taylor Swift

The Jonas Brothers have a new album about to come out called ‘Lines, Vines and Trying Times’. The first single off of the album is called ‘Paranoid’ and some people are saying that the lyrics may be referring to Joe’s ex-girlfriend, country singing cutie Taylor Swift. However, Nick says “This is really funny because people think this is about something particular but the truth to that is it’s one of the only songs of the record that’s not about a direct personal experience.” Kevin added “It’s, like, the most general song.” How do you write a general song about a scorned ex?

After their latest show, The Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience, the three band mate brothers are getting a bit tired with being famous and the impact it has had on their lives. Joe Jonas had this to say on behalf of himself and the band: “Do we ever wish we could lead a normal life? We definitely do. There are days when we have it and days when we don’t, but appreciate all of it, it’s awesome.” Ok, so maybe the Jonas Brothers are not so fed up with it all. After all, they’ve got thousands of screaming, hysterical teenage girls on their backs almost constantly… what’s not to like about that? Maybe getting ripped to bits and pieces and mauled to death? Perhaps, perhaps…
