Even though the show’s contestant number dropped dramatically during the two-day Hollywood auditions, there were those lucky enough to make it through. Among them are the ones you would expect like Chris Medina and Lauren Alaina, but there are also a few surprises. Tiffany Rios for example isn’t a contestant most might have seen getting any farther in the contest, but it looks like the American Idol contestant has quite the mouth on her, both for singing and other activities. She pretty much nailed the Hollywood vocal, unfortunately it was at the expense of Travis Orlando and a few others. Chris Medina was actually the only one to make it out of his group so that was probably a touchy moment for all of his new fans out there.

The Black Eyed Peas singer topped the list of Hollywood?s most desired body by the offices of Beverly Hills plastic surgeons Richard W. Fleming, MD and Toby G. Mayer, MD beating out former winners Jennifer Aniston and Eva Longoria Parker. Following Fergie in the list for best body were Gisele Bundchen and Olivia Wilde. Dr. Fleming said ?It amazes me that people?s concepts of beauty hasn?t changed that much over the years; what people are requesting in terms of beauty has been pretty consistent with us. Simon Cowell says he would “absolutely not” stay on American Idol if the show slipped from its number one spot on US TV.
The 49-year-old makes his shocking admission as he tops The Hollywood Reporter’s Reality Power List.
Cowell, who heads his own company Syco Television, is just one of four high-profile Brits on the 50-person list that includes Simon Fuller, Gordon Ramsay and Nigel Lythgoe.
The TV judge says: “Being number one is verging on an obsession with me.
“I don’t accept the argument of fragmentation or declining numbers. The Super Bowl goes up every year.”
Despite this admission, Cowell still toys with the idea of leaving American Idol when his contract runs out.
“The idea that for the next five years I’d be doing exactly what I’ve been doing for the past five years … the thought is just too depressing,” he says.
“You have to evolve, you have to change.”
Cowell reportedly earns $36 million a year to do American Idol.

Mariah Carey performed live on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! Show during a concert at Babylon Court at Hollywood and Highland last week in Hollywood. The 38-year old curvaceous diva performed five songs and even featured a guest appearance by rapper Young Jeezy. She performed ?Shake It Off?, ?We Belong Together?, ?I?m That Chick?, and a medley of ?I?ll Be Lovin? U/Touch My Body?. The mini concert served as a kickoff for the 2008 Samsung AT&T Summer Krush tour which also includes the participation of Gavin Rossdale, LeAnn Rimes, Nelly, Smashing Pumpkins and Good Charlotte. All those stars and they still enlisted the help of Nick Cannon?s lip synching wife.
American Idol is set to return for its seventh season in a special two-night, four-hour season premier on January 15 and January 16. Set your TiVos now! The Hollywood round will air on February 12 and the top 24 contestants will be announced on February 13. The first performance episode which features the 12 male finalists will air on February 19 and the first performance episode of the females will be on the following night. The top 12 finalists will then take the stage for the first time on Tuesday, March 11.

Pete Wentz and the rest of his band Fall Out Boy attended People magazine?s Grammy nominations party at Avalon Hollywood in Hollywood on Thursday night. And he was not a happy camper.
It appears that Pete is one very sore loser especially since he and the band attended the party and even had to perform at the party yet they had no Grammy nominations to show for it. And Pete had no problem letting the audience know his displeasure. He pitched a fit, threw his mic stand in the air and flung his bass against the speakers. Was that a fit or just part of the show?

I find it amazing that some people that can otherwise be considered child stars can still remain clean cut when they?ve become older. Those Hanson boys are proof of that. They?re such do-gooders. And no, it?s not a bad thing.
Isaac, Taylor and Zach were on a special mission to fight poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa by walking a mile in West Hollywood. The walk was to help raise awareness. It was then followed by a performance by the band of brothers.

The producer protested by saying that he has nothing to do with the boss and what happened but Kanye kept his hand over the camera lens during his entire interview with Us.
