The hotness that is Fergie lends her support to rapper Ludacris at the ‘Benefit for the Ludacris Foundation at Ralph Lauren’ which was held at Atlanta’s Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta, Georgia last Thursday. The vision for 30-year old Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges’ foundation is to inspire the youth to live their dreams, uplift families and foster economic development in the community. You can visit the foundation’s official website LudacrisFoundation.org for more information on what they can do for the community. Fergie and Luda were joined at the event by the likes of producer Polow Da Don and rapper Rich Boy.

Chris Daughtry is Billboard's Top Seller

Idol fans, this is your time for sweet revenge. He may not have won the competition, but he won the hearts of album buyers this year. Billboard named Chris Daughtry the most popular album of 2007. They sold about 3.2 million copies.

Just half a million shy of that, in second place, is Akon’s album “Konvicted”, followed by the Hannah Montana soundtrack (2.5 million), Fergie’s “The Dutchess” (2.4 million), and Carrie Underwood’s “Some Hearts” (2.3 million).

Number one song of the year was “Irreplaceable” by Beyonce, with Rihanna coming in just behind with “Umbrella”. Top tour of the year was The Police’s reunion tour, bringing in $212 million at last estimate.

Bittersweet Reward for Fergie

Reward for Fergie

Fergie gave a very priceless reaction when it was announced that she got a Grammy nomination on Thursday. The singer was one of the musicians on hand to announce who got the nods. It would have been very embarrassing if she didn’t get any.

But it’s still a very bittersweet reward for Fergie as she was a big favorite to get many Grammy nominations before the nominees were announced. She was nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal. But when your album has 5 hit singles, it doesn’t really matter how many nods you get. Just think about that for a good while.

Fergie’s New Video

Fergie has a new video out for her new single ‘Clumsy’. It’s a ‘pop-up book’ music video of a clumsy Fergie falling in love with model Alex Lundquist. The singer also walks the runway for the label Dsquared2 in her new video.

Her videos are always fresh and cool but all those corporate plugs thrown in are just irritating. Maybe she should just get one sponsor to pay a lot of money instead of four or five paying milk money.

Props to her though because she has an album good enough to have five singles off it. ‘Clumsy’ is likely to become another hit.
