Juno Awards Winners

I love Canada save for the part when it gave birth to Avril Lavigne. I have no problems with the Canadian version of the Grammy’s though – the Juno Awards. They recently held the ceremony on Sunday night and surprisingly enough, the amazingly talented Feist was the big winner by taking home 5 awards! Rihanna also won an award for best international album and hometown guy Michael Buble also took home an award. I wasn’t able to catch the show but I could care less if Avril won any award unless if it’s for most stupid. It would be a travesty if she won anything.

Juno Awards Nominations

The Canadian version of the Grammy Awards, the Junos, have recently announced their nominations on Tuesday. Some personal favorites which include the likes of Feist, Chromeo, Rufus Wainwright, Michael Buble and Celine Dion, scored some nods. While I agree with those nominees, there are a couple that I don’t agree with too. Actually, there’s just one – Avril Lavigne.

With all the hate that’s being thrown at her, why can’t the Junos have joined in on it too? Don’t they get it? They are just feeding her ego by doing this. And that huge ego of hers that doesn’t have any merit is what makes her think she can treat people like crap.
