Blur star Damon Albarn has said that drugs ruined the hit Brit Pop band and said heroin has ‘muddied’ a lot of lives.

Albarn makes the revelation in a new documentary film, where he admits that the band fell apart after their infamous chart battle with Oasis in 1995.

The band’s on/off guitarist, Graham Coxon, told how he smashed up the tour bus before trying to jump out of a window and kill himself.

Talking about track Beetlebum, Albarn said: “That whole period, a lot of people’s lives were muddied.”

Coxon added: “I was getting more and more unbalanced with it. I was out there. I was c**p to be around.”

Propofol has been found in Michael Jackson’s body, the results of two autopsies have revealed.

The results are from an official autopsy by the Los Angeles County Coroner and a private pathologist’s autopsy carried out for the Jackson family.

Both have found propofol in his system, while the second private autopsy has confirmed the

needle track marks found on his body in the first.

The drug, a powerful sedative and anaesthetic agent, is not available outside of hospitals and is not a controlled substance.

Propofol, sold under the trade name of Diprivan, is being seen as the “smoking gun” in the multi-agency investigation of Jackson’s sudden death on June 25 at his Holmby Hills residence.

County officials have confirmed that Jackson was taking prescription medications when he died. A public report on their findings is not expected until at least next week because of the ongoing probe into the case.

The private autopsy was performed on June 27, two days after Jackson died and a day after the coroner’s examination of the body.

The singer – who died last week at the age of 50 – is said to have used the pseudonyms “Jack London” and “Omar Arnold” to get pills.

It was also claimed he would use the names of his office manager and his bodyguard.

Sources claim that pharmacies in Los Angeles would leave the patient name blank on the prescriptions.

It comes as America’s Drug Enforcement Agency [DEA] is said to be joining the investigation into the singer’s death.

They will reportedly probe doctors who may have illegally written prescriptions for the troubled star.

Amy Winehouse has been banned from America after failing a drug test.

The singer applied for a visa to attend Sunday?s Grammys bash, but was denied as officials found traces of an un-named illegal drug in her blood following the test at the US Embassy in central London. Pals said Amy, 24, was ?gutted? by the news yesterday, and fear it will affect her battle with drugs.

A spokesman said she accepts the ban. But a pal said she was ?desperate? to perform at the Los Angeles bash – where she is up for six awards – adding: ?It was her main incentive to get clean. It?s a blow.?

Amy is now expected to perform via a live satellite link to the awards ceremony.

Scott Weiland, the singer for the Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, was arrested when he crashed his car while driving on an LA highway on November 21. He has recently been charged with driving under the influence of drugs with a prior conviction and with an allegation that he refused a chemical test as required by the law.Los Angeles City Attorney spokesperson Frank Mateljan made a statement regarding Scott?s legal trouble saying that the singer faces ?maximum penalty of one year county jail and a $1000 fine, and a minimum penalty eight days in jail (because of the prior conviction and the refusal to take a drug test). His car could also be impounded for up to 30 days.?

Kate Moss’ ex junkie fianc? Pete Doherty says he’s sorry for being a crack head. Yesterday there was a video of Pete injecting himself with heroin. The video was reportedly filmed right after he got back from the MTV European Music Awards in Germany. I feel sorry for him. You gotta understand that your body creates receptors for drugs like these, and your body goes through physical withdrawals if you stop feeding those receptors. It’s hard to give up such a hard drug because you have the mental AND the physical effects to get through. And he’s going right back to rehab, so he’s trying. The most important thing for this junk head is that he should not give up on the feel that he is trying and that some day he will find success in leaving his addiction for good. Basically it?s the medical staff that should make him believe that he can do it his is on the right path and he is going to achieve it. If he remains on path he has a chance of quitting drugs

Could it be that Pete Doherty has actually cleaned up his act? The ex-junkie is planning a tour and he has requested the locations be at alcohol-free venues. He apparently wants to celebrate kicking his drug habit. If these alcohol free concerts do actually take place at the end of the month, it will be the first time Doherty will actually be performing sober in five years. Do you guys think he is doing this to stay out of trouble with the courts or has he finally kicked his habit? Well whatever, don?t to think we are talking of his Booze-free tour as if we a celebrating a major festival, we are so like willing to forgive and forget everything that as if drug were some jelly beans that kids take when they are 4 odd something and there mom warn them that it could spoil their teeth?s and get them cavities. The awards ceremonies and parties are the perfect get away escapes for the drunkards and druggies with the comforts of lavish lounges and night clubs to party they just can?t resist the temptation to booze and get high all night till they are carried away by some friends to their homes or hotel rooms.

Rapper Eve is struggling to get used to her alcohol monitoring ankle bracelet. The hip-hop star was ordered to wear the SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring) after striking a plea agreement for her DUI arrest in April. But she admits it has not been easy. Yeah now she gets the thing, gulping down Heineken beer and more of alcohol beverages do not get you any awards just an ankle bracelet that is with in even when you go to bed. How irritating can that be, well I won?t like to have one for my self and that?s coz in do not drink alcohol as for Eve she?s made her choice her cannot leave the booze so she?s made friends with the ankle bracelet.
