MTV has decided that they will air ‘Gone Too Far’, the documentary series on young drug addicts that the late DJ AM finished just three days before he died from an accidental overdose. The network says that they got the consent and support of the late entertainer’s family before choosing to run the eight-episode series which features him working with real life drug addicts and their families to help them overcome substance abuse. MTV released a statement saying “It is our hope through airing this show that people will get to see the side of Adam that we knew and loved, not just the celebrity DJ, but the honest and caring person who gave so much of himself to help others.” The series will premiere on Monday.
John Mayer has been quite a talked-about blogger but the singer has since deleted all of the entries from his blog on his official website JohnMayer.com. He left a message for his fans saying ?DONE & DUSTED & SELF-CONSCIOUS & BACK TO WORK.? She was under investigation because police grew suspicious of the amount of money that her husband attempted to use for bribery since he doesn?t really sweat money and only Wino makes the cash flow in.
Amy was even ?arrested? last month but was really just brought in for questioning about it. It looks like she did good in the interrogation room because she is now in the clear. As for her husband, the jury is still out.

We?ve had a lot to say about Rehab singer Amy Winehouse of late. With her recent activities at her gigs, and her hubby in jail there has been a lot of speculation as to whether the 24-year-old is heading for a breakdown.
Now Liam Gallagher; notorious for his, let?s say, ?Rock ?n? Roll? lifestyle; has warned Amy to tone down her wild ways before it gets out of control. Despite admitting that if he were still Amy?s age, he would probably be doing the same thing (if not more drugs), the Oasis singer said “She plays with fire, so she’ll get burnt. That’s the way it goes. If she knows what she is doing is not good, then she needs to back up a bit.”
And it?s not without reason. The troubled singer collapsed after an overdose in the summer and has since struggled to stay sober. And now further health fears have sparked after she looked painfully thin while visiting her husband Blake Fielder Civil at London’s Pentonville Prison on Thursday.

Regina Daniels has worked as R. Kelly?s publicist for 14 years. She deserves a loyalty award don?t you think? But before we can even go to hand it to her, she?s formally announced her decision to cut all ties with the R&B singer.

Clarkson has since signed McEntire’s husband, Narvel Blackstock, as her manager and the pair teamed up to record a Crossroads TV concert special for CMT.The odd couple have now lined up 15 dates for their 2 Worlds 2 Voices tour, which will begin in Ohio on January 17.The tour will include a Valentine’s Day date in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Rapper Kanye West was scheduled to perform at tonight?s Victoria’s Secret fashion show but had to cancel a number of appearances due to the tragic loss of his mother Dr. Donda West. Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.am will step up and fill in for Kanye for the big show. Keep the faith Kanye, I lost my mother a couple months ago in a similar situation and its not easy but be strong and I know you can be. Just remember God always and morals and values your mother taught you. Timberlake is a rarity in the sphere of boy band alumni: he has pop cultural significance on a mass scale, and credibility with hard-to-please music fans. Amid an eye-popping stage setting, the US popstar ticked all the musical boxes. His exceptional dancing was not unexpected. Yet his vocal performance, as well as his competence on a range of instruments – guitar, electric piano, synth, and, to the crowd’s delight, keytar – was surprising and impressive.
Then there were the songs – Like I Love You came early, while Senorita was given an elongated treatment. The musical cues of Prince and Michael Jackson were palpable without being overwhelming. There were cheesy moments, but not too many. Cry Me a River, for example, the song reportedly written in response to his break-up from Britney Spears, was presented as a sublime pop song. Time was taken for a diatribe on magpies on the golf course, and for a round of tequila shots with the band. Then, finally, there was SexyBack.
Timberlake has achieved excellence by combining pop music, dance and spectacle. And with a show of this caliber, there is little room for spontaneity. Regardless, it will take something extraordinary to top it.

Their current single ?Apologize? has been saturating the radio stations all across America. The band can thank Timbaland for the great remix he did with the single. ?It gave me goose bumps the first time I heard it,? the 28-year-old artist says.
Timbaland, who apparently saw Tedder, one of the band members, at an MTV contest, offered him a deal. He then spend the next two years hoping he’d record and release a solo album, but Timbaland kept telling him that he’s a producer and not an artist. ?Apologize? was written in 2003, but wasn’t touched until 2007.
I guess it takes awhile for a great song to hit the radio. And this song truly does give me the goose bumps.

The video was reportedly filmed right after he got back from the MTV European Music Awards in Germany. I feel sorry for him. You gotta understand that your body creates receptors for drugs like these, and your body goes through physical withdrawals if you stop feeding those receptors. It’s hard to give up such a hard drug because you have the mental AND the physical effects to get through. And he’s going right back to rehab, so he’s trying. The most important thing for this junk head is that he should not give up on the feel that he is trying and that some day he will find success in leaving his addiction for good. Basically it?s the medical staff that should make him believe that he can do it his is on the right path and he is going to achieve it. If he remains on path he has a chance of quitting drugs
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony kicked off their ING Presents concert tour on Friday at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. This is the first time the husband and wife have toured together, though they have performed together in the past. She is a star and there is no doubt in my mind about that, she does her acts so gracefully and with such exemplified brilliance that I think she is one of the best performers out there in the world today along side Justin Timberlake. She opened with her new single “Do It Well,” and showed off some low-key hip-hop dance moves. So guys and all you admires of J Lo, all will agree with me that she has it in her to make the world dance to her footsteps. Even during her performance recently during the announcement of the New 7 wonders of the world her performance was splendid and rocking.
Shut up Simon. You are only peeved because you did not make money from Ryan’s appearance. You know just because these guys are in the music industry and are successful they tend to have an opinion on every damn thing that goes on in the business and they think their opinions matter and shall have its justified effects. There are the ratings that have already proven that Ryan Seacrest?s show was not that well received and that should end the debate. Warner Music Group Corp will sell a new album by the artist James Blunt through News Corp’s Internet social network MySpace, the Financial Times reported in its online edition.
U.S. consumers will be able to listen for free beginning on Tuesday to Blunt’s entire album from his MySpace webpage, the report said. They can purchase a download for $9.99 that will play on Apple Inc’s iPod, and will also receive a compact disc version in the mail, the report said.
The report said the experiment reflects the music industry’s effort to find new ways to sell music at a time when it is being hit by piracy and continuing declines in CD sales.
Warner Music was not immediately available for comment.

Ashley Tisdale made a music video that is incredibly hot. And why wouldn?t it be? Not only does she have her big sister Jennifer in it but she also has ?Desperate Housewives? hot body Josh Henderson for the ?He Said, She Said? music video which took place in a club. The video will be aired on TRL on September 19.
When asked about what the video is about, Ashley simply said that ?I?m playing this girl, and I?m hanging out with my friends. It?s mainly dancing at the club, and there?s booty shots.?
The ?High School Musical? star will be releasing a music video trilogy on DVD which includes ?He Said, She Said?, ?Not Like That? and ?Suddenly?.
Music mogul Carl Stubner is in a heap of trouble. Two words: Motley Crue. The band is alleging that Stubner scalped free tickets that were given to him when he was managing the rock group.
According to an amended complaint, Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars are accusing Stubner of requesting tickets to their concerts and then selling them at scalper prices to get some extra money to flow into his pockets. The band is claiming that he used ?his position and status as a manager? and demanded numerous complimentary tickets per show, which he resold.?
A rep for Sanctuary Group, the management company that Stubner works under, could not be reached for any comment.
You could say that Kenny Chesney, with a top tour, hit after hit and another multiplatinum album, enjoyed an amazing last couple of years ? but you’d be wrong. Yes, he accomplished all that. But, enjoy it? That’s another matter.
2006 was another pinnacle in the seemingly unstoppable career of the country superstar, but it also may have been his most frustrating time as an artist ? and a person.
Chesney was still reeling from his very public breakup of his brief marriage to Academy Award-winner Renee Zellweger (and the tabloid frenzy that followed), and felt particularly uninspired, even when it came to what he loved most ? touring.
“I wasn’t mentally ready to go on the road, after all the media stuff that happened with the breakup with Renee, I just mentally wasn’t ready to go, so all last year, even though I had fun and the whole tour was amazing … mentally I just wasn’t 100 percent there,” he admits.
He was even reluctant to work on a follow-up to his multiplatinum 2005 album, “The Road and the Radio,” which featured such hits as “Beer in Mexico.”
“Last year at the CMA Awards … he said to me, `I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to get this record done; I don’t know what I want to say,’” Joe Galante, head of Sony Nashville, recalls Chesney saying.
Galante didn’t want to push his superstar to make a record he wasn’t ready to make. But he told him to take a crack at it, and see if something might give him inspiration.
Just as Galante suspected, the inspiration did come ? though not from the usual sources. Chesney, who has written or co-written tunes for all of his previous albums, found the most personal and profound songs for his new disc, “Just Who I Am: Poets and Pirates,” from the pens of others. The album, on sale Tuesday, doesn’t contain one song written by Chesney. Even so, he considers it perhaps the one that reveals his true emotions more than any other, especially with songs like “Wife and Kids,” where he wistfully yearns for the perfect family life that now eludes him, and “Better as a Memory,” in which he lists his own shortcomings as a mate.
“This record opens me up a little bit more, and I’m letting that happen more and more, and that’s tough for a guy like me, who’s constantly got a wall up,” says the congenial Chesney, relaxing at a Manhattan studio a few hours before a concert at Madison Square Garden.
“There’s a piece of me in all of these songs, there’s a whole lot of me in the majority of them,” he continues. “`Better as a Memory,’ that’s probably one of the most brutally honest songs that I’ve ever recorded about me, and it’s a letter that I’ve probably written to a lot of girls before.”
As Galante puts it: “I think he let people into the issues that are facing him.”
Part of this newfound introspection, and willingness to put more of his emotions out for public dissection, came after Chesney began working with a country great who has endured plenty of triumphs and setbacks in the public eye ? legend Willie Nelson. Chesney is the producer on Nelson’s next record, due out next year.
“Every artist feeds off inspiration, and when I needed it the most, God gave me Willie Nelson,” Chesney says.
When Chesney began working on the album in late 2006, he hadn’t started working on his own record, and admits to feeling “pretty stressed out.”
