Kelly decided to sing her own rendition of fellow pop singer Ke$ha’s song ‘Your Love is My Drug’. It’s not that odd though once you realize that the two actually share the same producer, Dr. Luke. He produced ‘Your Love is My Drug’, ‘TiK ToK’, ‘My Life Would Suck without You’ and ‘Since U Been Gone’. The 28-year old singer also sang ‘Sweet Dreams’, ‘Home’ and Carrie Underwood’s ‘Before He Cheats’.

The successful country singer said Nobody wouldve looked at me twice if it weren’t for IDOL. Back then, I was 20 pounds heavier and literally fresh off the farm. Nobody may have looked at you yes, but just one note heard from you and I bet that everyones head would be spinning. American Idol is set to return for its seventh season in a special two-night, four-hour season premier on January 15 and January 16. Set your TiVos now! The Hollywood round will air on February 12 and the top 24 contestants will be announced on February 13. The first performance episode which features the 12 male finalists will air on February 19 and the first performance episode of the females will be on the following night. The top 12 finalists will then take the stage for the first time on Tuesday, March 11.
