If she had not followed a career in the music industry, American singer Britney Spears would have wanted to be a teacher.
She’s 29 years old, mother of two boys, and said she likes to meet with her younger fans and he would have liked to pursue a career involving working with children, announces Female First.
When asked what she would have done if she had not experienced success in music, Britney said, ‘I took care of my family. I would have been a mother .[...] In terms of career, I think I would have been a teacher. ”
Also, Britney admitted that she would like it if the boys would have a career in showbiz, but added she would be “very protective”. ‘Certainly I would be watching them, but if that’s what they would like to do, then I would let them follow their dream. But I would be very protective, ” the artist said for the website Popjustice.
MTV News caught up with Britney Spears for a little interview where they asked the money question of whether or not the pop singer will be releasing a new single. In typical Britney fashion, she candidly spilled the beans that there is going to be a fourth single from the “Femme Fatale” album and it will be “Criminal”. The mid tempo track will be the follow up to “I Wanna Go”. I like the choice. After 3 up tempo singles, it should be nice to get something to slow things down a bit. Expect the new single to drop on radios soon. Britney also said that she already has an idea in mind for the music video. I can’t wait to see that. z
Britney Spears kicked off her much anticipated “Femme Fatale” tour last night at the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento. As it was previously revealed, the pop singer’s set list consisted of 22 full songs, comprising of her huge back catalogue of hit music, going all the way to her first album “Baby… One More Time”. Of course, the concert was filled with new tracks from her “Femme Fatale” album as well, with the closing song being “Til the World Ends”. Britney also sang her hits “If You Seek Amy”, “Gimme More”, “I Wanna Go”, “Womanizer” and her new song “Lace and Leather”.
Maybe the old said that the third time’s the charm will apply for Britney Spears’ marriages. It looks like the singer got swept off her feet again, this time by her current boyfriend Jason Tarwick who supposedly proposed to her by writing her a poem. Of course Britney Spears encountered her new engagement with nothing short of great pleasure, as a source revealed: ”She’s on cloud nine.” However it does seem that she was pretty reserved in some aspects this time around as the engagement was secret until only recently. It would appear that someone once again just couldn’t hold their excitement in for much longer.
Well, it won’t be so much of a surprise now that it’s already out, but still it is reason for excitement for all of Britney Spears’ fans out there. The singer has been getting ready for her upcoming “Femme Fatale” tour and has a few surprises ready for her fans, one of which is apparently a cover she is doing of Madonna’s “Burning Up”. A short clip of Britney Spears performing the song leaked on to the internet and it’s getting a lot of attention. This might just prove to be a very good boost for the ticket sales on Britney Spears’ new tour. And one has to wonder that when something leaks on the internet like this, why is it never the whole thing?
It looks like the singer has actually given into all of the complaints and criticisms that her music video dance routines just aren’t what they used to be. So Britney Spears has decided to try and rectify this by doing a new version of her “Till the World Ends” music video that has a lot more dance in it. So she took the old version, cut out all of the post-apocalyptic imagery and instead put in a little more dance and a lot more close-up of her bobbing her head or being all absorbed in the song. It is a reasonably noble effort on Britney Spears’ behalf, but still with no real result. A better approach would’ve been to put in a few more images where the earth is ripping itself to pieces… probably a lot more entertaining.

As promised Rihanna has released her new and highly anticipated remix of “S&M” which features Britney Spears. Apart from a little more electro in the beginning, the song is basically the same… except of course for Britney Spears doing a duet with Rihanna. It doesn’t really sound half bad, but hearing Britney Spears sing the refrain to Rihanna’s “S&M” is a bit strange at first… but everybody will probably get used to it over time. Not a bad remix really… especially given the theme of the song and the fact that it’s sung by Rihanna and Britney Spears which might send a few minds wandering into some directions.

ABC’s Good Morning America just aired Britney Spears’ mini concert which was taped last Sunday at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The three song set included the pop singer’s new songs “Hold it Against me”, “Big Fat Bass” and “Till the World Ends”. In this manner, Britney officially kicks off the promo rounds in support of her new album “Femme Fatale” which is out in stores now. She also announced the first dates of her upcoming world tour on GMA. Brit will tour the US during the summer with international dates soon to follow. This time, the pop singer’s track “I Wanna Go”, which was produced by Max Martin and Shellback, from her upcoming album “Femme Fatale”, out on March 29, has been released in full. If by the snippet you already thought the song was hot, wait until you hear this one in full. The production is blazing hot and Britney’s sassy vocals are to die for. This one is another hit. At the rate things are going, pretty much every song on her latest album could be potential singles.

While it’s not 100% confirmed as of yet, it’s pretty much a given that Britney Spears will be going on tour this 2011. Multiple sources close to the pop singer have claimed that she will be taking “Femme Fatale” on the road and according to an Investor’s Report on LiveNation “At this point, the company expects over 75% of its key Front Line artists to be active and touring during 2011, compared to under 50% of those artists actively touring last year. Major tours are currently expected from, among others, The Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Neil Diamond, the cast of ‘Glee’, Journey, Kid Rock, Kings Of Leon, Britney Spears and Sugarland.” Hopefully we’ll get an official announcement soon.

Disney execs are apparently looking to prevent their younger stars from having meltdowns in the wake of Demi Lovatos situation and have reportedly asked former child stars and ex-lovers Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake to come in and talk to the up-and-comers. A source said Justin and Britney have been asked if they would like to come in and speak to their younger counterparts about the tribulations of being famous so young. The Disney bosses think that if they have people to look up to they might stay on the straight and narrow. While it has nothing to do with the actual story, I cant help but wonder what would happen if the two pop stars finally cross paths again.
The Parents Television Council has chosen to pick on Glee and Britney Spears by labeling the TV series tribute episode to the pop singer as the worst show of the week. Their website criticizes the show for making a tribute to Britney who they deem to be a toxic teen role model. They continue on to say Perhaps most troubling is the deification of a troubled pop star into a symbol of empowerment and self-esteem. Considering her stints in rehab, her very public breakdowns and her questionable parenting skills, there is absolutely no way Spears should be considered a role model. The producers of the show can spare us the old song-and-dance about fallen celebs turning their lives around. Could they be any more narrow-minded?
Britney Spears is calling BS on the lawsuit filed against her by a former bodyguard who claims that the singer sexually harassed him and abused her kids. The pop star recently posted a statement on her official website saying This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself. The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores’ accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that his matter will be dismissed by the courts.
The creator of Glee has revealed it was Britney Spears’ idea to make a guest appearance on the show.
Ryan Murphy said: “It’s a tribute to her and her music. It was her idea to come on and do a couple of fun ‘Where’s Waldo?’ moments – but instead of ‘Where’s Waldo?’ it’s ‘Where’s Britney?’ That was her idea.”
“I think Britney is going to be on the show, yes,” he told Access Hollywood.

Glee fans excited about the upcoming Britney Spears-themed episode of the hit show won’t be kept in suspense for too long.
Series creator Ryan Murphy has just revealed the Britney episode will be the second one to air next season.
Murphy also dished that New Directions’ own Brittany, played by Heather Morris, would be at the centre of the tribute to the Toxic singer.
“Heather’s actually got a terrific voice,” Murphy told TV Guide, adding that Morris would be performing two of Spears’ numbers.

Sources connected with Britney Spears are saying that her conservatorship has essentially become a formality because the singer now makes almost all of her personal decisions herself. The director claims that the camp is in need of $250,000 to stay afloat and have entered a contest run by Pepsi in an effort to score a grant.

A rabid male fan crashed the stage at a Jonas Brothers concert this past weekend in Madrid. I never knew they actually had male fans, but anyway.
