The new songs by Blink 182, ”After Midnight” was released on Tuesday, 6th of September, during Zane Lowe’s show on BBC Radio 1, informs Nme.com.
“After Midnight” follows the first single, ”Up All Night”, extracted from the ”Neighborhoods” LP. The album will be released on September 26th and will include 10 songs. The band will also release a deluxe edition of the album, which contains three additional songs.
“Neighborhoods” is the seventh album in the history of the band Blink 182 and the first released since 2003, when their successful album appeared, entitled “Blink 182”.

Through a statement on their website, the rock back wrote “It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce our planned 2011 European summer tour has been rescheduled. When we booked the tour last year, we were confident that we would have the new album out before the summer. Turns out we were mistaken as the album is taking longer than we thought and won’t be out till later this year. Rather than do another ‘greatest hits tour’ which you all saw last summer. The three of us are working very hard to do what we set out to do when we re-formed, get a new Blink-182 album recorded.” While it’s sad for their European fans, I think they made a smart move and hopefully, their new music would be worth the wait.

According to People, the 22-year old Barbadian singer, who spent some time with a drum set in her video for ?Rude Boy?, is learning how to play so she can perform live on her upcoming tour of Europe. As for how Rihanna?s lessons are doing, Travis seems to be impressed with her work as he went on his Twitter to say ?She JAMS!!!!! Watch out for her!!? It should definitely prove to be a treat for anyone who would be catching Rihanna in concert.

Travis Barker has revealed his band Blink-182 have finished a new song for their next album and will be playing it on tour this summer.

Travis, 33, is working with his old band again after they recently reunited.

He said: “We all got together and met up and, almost immediately, we got inspired. So it went from just playing around together to being like: ‘Let’s lay down demos! And tour!’”

He added: “And, to be honest, it was crazy. I was still recovering from all my surgeries [from his plane crash in September], and was way out of it when we first got back in there.

“I was in no shape to be in the studio, and we were kinda held back a bit. We decided to just get used to playing with each other again.”

Their new track will be called Up All Night, and Travis said fans will be able to hear it on their tour later this year. He admitted that their new songs have been inspired by old material.

He said: “When we do go in [to make the new album], it’s gonna be like that. You can’t help but have everything on the table… all the stuff we’ve done – like +44 and Angels & Airwaves – since we last played and recorded, it will influence the new stuff.”

He added: “In the case of Up All Night, it feels like it could’ve been on the last record, or right where the last one left off.

“It’s kind of heavy. It all makes sense. The pieces are all together.”

The Grammy was more than exciting; it was like a reality show. So now that you know what happened to Rihanna, Chris Brown and Usher–all of whom did not make it as Grammy performers for one reason or another, here’s one tidbit that would also be of interest. Here’s one celebrity who made it to the Grammy come hell and high water. Travis Barker did not want to miss the Grammy night that he went anyway despite having his arm on a sling. Barker just had surgery after his arms suffered injuries due to last September’s plane crash which killed four people.

Barker, who came with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, said he literally jumped out of his hospital bed numb hand and all just to be at the Grammy. He is suffering from bad nerve damage which explains the surgery and supposedly the 8 to 10 weeks recovery period. The Blink 182 drummer suffered second and third degree burns due the plane crash. He is set for a couple more surgeries in the near future.
