Ubisoft recently announced the expansion of their multi-million selling experience franchise with a video game that will be 100% dedicated to the Black Eyed Peas. The Black Eyed Peas Experience will feature hit songs and super hip dance moves from the popular hip hop band. Fergie seems to be very excited about the game, saying “It’s a perfect fit for us. The Black Eyed Peas are bringing the party to the people.” If you find yourself always bouncing on your seat or finding the need to get up and dance when a BEP song is on, this game would be perfect for you. The game will be available for both Xbox 360 Kinect and Nintendo Wii.

The Black Eyed Peas hit the stage at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards which was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas this past Sunday. The hip hop band performed a medley of their songs “Just Can’t Get Enough” and “I Gotta Feeling”. Fergie, will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo always put on a good show but I can’t help but feel like they need to come up with some new music already. I’m just already sick of having to hear “I Gotta Feeling”. That’s just me though. Anyways, they had a great performance on the show. It definitely kept the energy up.

The Black Eyed Peas performed their latest single “Don’t Stop the Party” on the French version of X Factor earlier this week. The performance was very entertaining to watch but I think it’s really ridiculous how much their vocals are edited. Besides showing some love to the hip hop band’s French fans and supporting the latest single from their album “The Beginning”, the Black Eyed Peas also visited channel M6’s hit talent show to get the hype going for their upcoming stadium tour in France. They will play on June 22, 24 and 25 at the Stade de France in Paris.

Hip hop band Black Eyed Peas have recently announced that they plan to officially retire their 2005 hit “My Humps” and will no longer perform it live in concert. Rapper will.i.am explains “For a while, [we did] My Humps and then it got to the point where we didn’t want to play My Humps no more. You know, ’cause, ‘I met a girl down at the disco,’ I just didn’t want to say that no more, lyrically.” Or maybe the song just gets way too annoying after a while. I know that’s how I feel about it so I can’t blame them for wanting to retire it.

Imagine what those numbers would look like if no one downloaded the song illegally. If there are any naysayers left with regards to Lady Gaga and her staying power, there you have it. The singer is here to stay and here to rule.

On the big day of this year’s Super Bowl it seems that the Black Eyed Peas have decided to hold a big super-star bash, since they’re going to be performing during half-time and all that. Fergie who is a co-owner of the Miami Dolphins had this to say of the band’s party plans: “As an NFL owner and a football fan, I cannot be more excited to join forces with Sports Illustrated for the hottest party of the season. It will be the kick-off to an amazing weekend in Dallas and we can’t wait to get it started.” Well, certainly all of the big celebrities are going to be there. It doesn’t seem to be invitation based. Black Eyed Peas are probably scoping out the other NFL fans out there.

Sources are reporting that The Black Eyed Peas are set to headline the Super Bowl Half Time Show at the 2011 championship game on February 6th. The hip hop band will be the first urban music performers to play the Super Bowl since the infamous Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction in 2004. Over the past couple of years, rock stars like Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones and Prince have been given the coveted spot. But BEP seems to have planned this perfectly as the Super Bowl performance will lead up to the release of their upcoming album �The Beginning�.

The Black Eyed Peas did it again

There�s just no stopping these guys� will.i.am is a freaking magician when it comes to plagiarism. The Black Eyed Peas are once again being sued for plagiarism, this time by Bryan Pringle who says that the group plagiarized his song �Take a Drive� for their big hit �I Gotta Feeling�. His lawyer had this to say on the matter: “A simple listening of the two songs will tell you that the songs are substantially similar, and that the hooks of the two songs are virtually identical in rhythm and lyrics.” Well, this is not the first time The Black Eyed Peas are being called to answer for their lack of creativity. But it�s no big deal for them, a settlement and that�s that. They probably make more money off the track than the original artist ever dreamed of� they can probably spare a few crumbs from their big table for the poor sap too. And so the industry works!

Black Eyed Peas team up with James Cameron

The Black Eyed Peas are set to team up with blockbuster film director James Cameron to create a tour DVD.

Frontman will.i.am has revealed that the band want to create a 3-D film and chose the Avatar director because of his reputation in the movie industry.

The rapper/music producer told Vibe they wanted to pick a director that matched the band’s ever-growing status.

He said: “We have the biggest director, because we are the biggest group on the planet.

“The Peas are filming it in South America. People will be able to see us in the theatre with the 3-D glasses and everything.”

The film – which is scheduled to hit theatres next year – will be a full-length feature that follows the band as they tour the globe.

He added: “We’ve toured from America and Europe, to the Middle East, South America, Asia and Africa. It’s not like we go, ‘Yo, we are international, you know what I’m saying? London and Paris!’ Nah, that’s just two cities. We want to go across the planet.”

Lady Gaga has sold over 4 million digital copies of her music in the UK! That makes the princess of pop the number 1 digital selling artist across the pond. The singer broke Rihanna�s record which was at 2.5 million digital downloads last year. The Black Eyed Peas came in at second place to Lady Gaga as the hip hop band raked in 3.3 million digital downloads. Congratulations to Lady Gaga for once again making history and breaking another record! She is unstoppable! I can�t see an end to the craze surrounding her. It just goes to show that she�s not just some passing fad.

The concert will take place in South Africa on June 10th to celebrate the start of the World Cup and up to 30,000 spectators are expected to attend. Just last month, the 34-year old Black Eyed Peas singer and ?Nine? actress was approved by a sufficient number of owners to become a limited partner in the Dolphins organization. Fergie joins a list of celebrities who are partners including Marc Anthony and Emilio and Gloria Estefan. Unfortunately for those celebrities, the Dolphins lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 30-24. How sad is it that the team with the most famous supporters is the team which absolutely sucks? You have to wonder if they made the right choice.

Tokio Hotel took home the “Best Group” award at the MTV European Music Awards in Berlin beating out the likes of Black Eyed Peas, Jonas Brothers, Kings of Leon and Green Day. Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav also rocked an epic performance of their international single “World Behind My Wall” complete with insane pyro and explosive stage effects. The track appears on the recently released Humanoid album.

Look what the cat dragged in. It seems that Black Eyed Peas member Will.i.am is not as original an artist as he might boast himself to be. A singer and producer by the name of FrankMusik has recently accused Will.i.am of stealing his music. Of course, the man did it on twitter, because let?s face it, that?s the place where we report copyright infringements? and he also has such an elegant way of expressing himself: ?OK SO Cheryl Cole ft Will.i.am – Boy Like You IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF OF A TRACK I DID FOUND HERE!? Well, maybe somebody would have taken this seriously in other circumstances, but on twitter, fat chance! Looks like Will.i.am is free to expand his musical horizons even further.
