Just when you thought that boy bands are a thing of the past, two of the biggest to ever hit the music industry join forces to prove you wrong. New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys are going on tour together and they just added a slew of new dates to their upcoming summer tour. There are 16 new concert dates which include stops in San Antonio, Vancouver, Minneapolis, Kansas City, St. Louis, Orlando, Indianapolis, Cleveland and Atlantic City. Now more of their fans can relive their teenybopper days and kids can check out what the hype was all about.
The New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys are kicking off their joint tour at the American Music Awards that will be going down this Sunday and I have for you an exclusive at the set list for the boy bands’ performance. The performance will showcase the both pop groups’ biggest hits including “Backstreet’s Back”, “Hangin’ Tough”, “I Want it That Way”, “Step by Step”, “Right Stuff” and “Larger Than Life”. If that doesn’t take you back in time, I don’t know what will. I can already hear adults regressing to their teeny bopper days. Mind you, BSB and NKOTB are also the ceremony’s closers.
Backstreet Boys singer AJ McLean recently proposed to his girlfriend Rochelle Deanna Karidis on stage at the Hard Rock Hotel?s Wasted Space nightclub. A witness described the scene saying ?He got up on stage and the DJ turned the music off. He asked her to come up on stage and he got down on his knee and she squatted down with him. He asked her and she said yes and hugged him. He took the ring out of his pocket and put it on her hand. She seemed very surprised and didn’t seem to know why he was getting on stage.? Congratulations!
Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean is reaching out to Britney Spears through People saying that he may just be the one who can save her life. The 30-year old singer wants the pop wreck to know that he believes in her ?110 percent?.
AJ has battled his own addictions and demons in the past and he says that he is confident that Brit can ?get her life back in order? and will always keep it real with the fallen singer. He says that he?s not going to miss a note with Brit and will ask questions like ?Hey, do you want to die?? and ?What the hell is wrong with you?? Tough love.
