Carey announced that she wants to release a new Christmas album, after its predecessor, which contained Christmas songs, released in 1994, and became among the most sold discs. The album is scheduled for early November and will include six new songs and a remix of the hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”. Singer would like to join the American Idol judges in the near future. “She is one of the greatest singers of our time, she would fit perfectly. I do not know if she has enough free time, but if she could make a deal with the producers on a program, I know she would be very pleased to participate in this program, “said singer’s husband Nick Cannon.
There is a rumor circulating around the internet today that Mariah Carey is pregnant!?
Many of Pink Floyd’s albums have been taken off the internet after a distribution deal with the iconic rock band’s record label ran out. ‘The Wall’, ‘Animals’, ‘Wish You Were Here’, and ‘The Final Cut’ have all been taken down from online digital stores because the contract with EMI actually expired on June 30. Reps for the band are working on securing a new deal to bring the music back for digital downloads. If they knew that the deal was set to expire, I wish they could have worked harder on securing a new one before it did so fans didn’t have to wait in limbo.

Jennifer Lopez is featured on the cover of the September issue of Glamour magazine. In the accompanying interview, the 41-year old actress/singer talked about her real life, parts of her past she wishes weren’t public, and her new album. When asked why there’s a question mark in her new album title ‘Love?’, JLo said “For me, love is the never-ending question. It’s confusing. It’s the answer, but it’s also inundated with contradictions and complications. It’s about years of experience in different relationships, and kind of the culmination of that, and how even to this day, I’m still learning.” That was pretty deep.
Singer-songwriter Joe Brooks has released a music video for his debut single “Superman.” The video features the musician performing in a New York style loft and is definitely worth checking out. “Superman” will appear on Brook’s debut album, Constellation Me, available August 17th on Universal Republic Records.
Fans all over the world have responded and connected with Brooks’ first single, “Superman,” which has almost 10 million MySpace plays to date. And as his online fan base continues to grow (now closing in on 20 million MySpace plays overall), there is apparently a real world connection: his first two UK tours, 16 date’s total, sold out, without the help of a label or publisher.
Written over three years and recorded in Los Angeles and England, in everywhere from state of the art recording studios to a garage apartment, Brooks’ upcoming release is the culmination of his musical efforts. Covering elements of rock, pop, and blues, Brooks’ recorded music reflects his own personal tastes from John Mayer to Ray Charles. But above all else Brooks is a born-performer and must be witnessed live to really understand his vision and art.
Keisha, who was member of the band Sugababes from the beginning, together with Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy, accepted not making part of the group anymore. “You know, we all got over it. You have to stop thinking about the past, because you can not change what happened” said Keisha. At the moment Keisha is working on becoming a solo artist, but she admits it is a little bit weird. She said that she’s very happy with where she is now. She does not know how it’ll be to promote her solo album alone, but it is pleasant to take decisions alone.
The new album signed by Enrique Iglesias, Euphoria, is the most diverse one till now. It is a collection of songs written in the past four years. This new material is showing Enrique discovering new directions, and being adventurous. Regarding the new album Enrique declared: “We can’t wait to finish this album. It does not resemble to anything I’ve done till now. It includes many musical genres and it was extraordinary for me to experiment and explore new territories.” . On this album Enrique collaborates with artists like Akon, Usher and Nicole Scherzinger.
It looks like The Killers front man is getting a bit bored with his band and hes thinking about trying something different. So Brandon Flowers is going to go solo and on the bands official site any fans can subscribe to a newsletter that follows the evolution of Brandon Flowers upcoming album. Considering its on the bands website, theyre probably still going to be playing together as well, which brings in mind the following question: whats Brandon Flowers going to do for a solo album? Play all of the instruments himself? Because getting session musicians would really be utterly pointless
Eminem released Recoverys first single entitled Not Afraid leaked right now. Produced by Boi-1da
Eminem Not Afraid lyrics
[ Hook ]
Im not afraid to take a stand
Everybody come take my hand
Well walk this road together, through the storm
Whatever weather, cold or warm
Just let you know that, youre not alone
Hola if you feel that youve been down the same road
[ Intro ]
Yeah, Its been a ride
I guess i had to go to that place to get to this one
Now some of you might still be in that place
If youre trying to get out, just follow me
Ill get you there
[ Verse 1 ]
You can try and read my lyrics off of this paper before I lay em
But you wont take this thing out these words before I say em
Cause aint no way Im let you stop me from causing mayhem
When I say em or do something I do it, I dont give a damn
What you think, Im doing this for me, so fuck the world
Feed it beans, its gassed up, if a things stopping me
Imma be what I set out to be, without a doubt undoubtedly
And all those who look down on me Im tearing down your balcony
No if ands or buts dont try to ask him why or how can he
From Infinite down to the last Relapse album hes still shit and
Whether hes on salary, paid hourly
Until he bows out or he shits his bowels out of him
Whichever comes first, for better or worse
Hes married to the game, like a fuck you for christmas
His gift is a curse, forget the earth hes got the urge
To pull his dick from the dirt and fuck the whole universe
[ Hook ]
[ Verse 2 ]
Ok quit playin with the scissors and shit, and cut the crap
I shouldnt have to rhyme these words in the rhythm for you to know its a rap
You said you was king, you lied through your teeth
For that fuck your feelings, instead of getting crowned youre getting capped
And to the fans, Ill never let you down again, Im back
I promise to never go back on that promise, in fact
Lets be honest, that last Relapse CD was ehhhh
Perhaps I ran them accents into the ground
Relax, I aint going back to that now
All Im tryna say is get back, click-clack BLAOW
Cause I aint playin around
Theres a game called circle and I dont know how
Im way too up to back down
But I think Im still tryna figure this crap out
Thought I had it mapped out but I guess I didnt
This fucking black clouds still follows me around
But its time to exercise these demons
These motherfuckers are doing jumping jacks now!
[ Hook ]
[ Bridge ]
And I just cant keep living this way
So starting today, Im breaking out of this cage
Im standing up, Imma face my demons
Im manning up, Imma hold my ground
Ive had enough, now Im so fed up
Time to put my life back together right now
[ Verse 3 ]
It was my decision to get clean, I did it for me
Admittedly i probably did it subliminally for you
So I could come back a brand new me, you helped see me through
And dont even realise what you did, believe me you
I been through the ringer, but they can do little to the middle finger
I think I got a tear in my eye, I feel like the king of
My world, haters can make like bees with no stingers, and drop dead
No more beef flingers, no more drama from now on, I promise
To focus soley on handling my responsibilitys as a father
So I solemnly swear to always treat this roof like my daughters and raise it
You couldnt lift a single shingle lonely
Cause the way I feel, Im strong enough to go to the club
Put a ??? and lift the whole liquor counter up
Cause Im raising the bar, I shoot for the moon
But Im too busy gazing at stars, I feel amazing and
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said he has no plans to release a solo album and thinks the idea would be ‘cringeworthy’.
Martin, 33, said he had been chatting to Natasha Khan from band Bat For Lashes about the thought of a solo album and decided that he is nothing without the band behind him.
He said to UK’s Q magazine: “This is going to sound cheesy, but what makes a great frontman is the great people behind him.
“I had this conversation yesterday with Natasha from Bat For Lashes, who’s on tour with us, and we were talking about how if Bono or I were to release solo albums, they’d be cringeworthy.
“It’s still the same person singing, but the gang aspect makes you acceptable.
“If you take me out of the band, I can’t dance, I can’t do what Beyonce can do.
“I’m only surviving on enthusiasm and collective chemistry. All frontmen become s**t as soon as the perceived least important member of their band leaves.”
While others cant stand being famous and successful, Green Day sure have no problem with it. In fact, they seem to love it so much that theyre actually getting ready for a new album even though their last was released less than a year ago. This is what Billie-Joe Armstrong said about it: “We did some demos in Berlin, some in Stockholm, some just outside of Glasgow and some in Amsterdam,” said Armstrong. “We wanted to get down in some early form.” So, Green Day are using Europe to probe the field for their next album theyve become quite the little marketing geniuses, havent they? Maybe it will stick this time around too.
After being convicted for gun possession and even though he is still serving time in Georgia, T.I. has decided to make a public appearance with his fiance Tameka Cottle at her Alzheimers research fundraiser. A good way for T.I. to score some extra good behavior points, no doubt. Also, his manager seems to be very excited about T.I.s upcoming projects which include a new album and a movie: “He’s sounding beautiful. His spirit is really good. He’s got the eye of the tiger. There’s no theme as of yet. The sound is definitely not a bunch of samples.” Interesting how busy T.I. has been since being convicted. He probably has too much free time on his hands and thought it best to at least use it for another record.
This is probably just some marketing scheme to get more people to pre-order stuff, but it will be interesting to see if it works. It seems that Lil Waynes new album which was scheduled to be released in February when he was going to go to happy camp has been delayed for late June. Why, you might ask. Lil Wayne remains silent he probably thought it would be a good idea to keep pumping up the release date, maybe hell manage to do his time and be back for a few release concerts, that is, if anyone is ever going to show up seeing the stunts hes pulling. But hey, Lil Wayne has loads of time to make new friends and fans at the happy camp.
Susan Boyle continues her stay at the top of the US album chart, as her debut I Dreamed a Dream marks its fourth straight week at number one.

Boyle’s American sales have topped 2.4m within a month.
OneRepublic recently performed an exclusive show at The Palms in Las Vegas for Walmart Soundcheck. The band rocked songs from their new album Waking Up, including their current single, “All The Right Moves.” The Colorado quintet also sat down for an intimate interview where they weigh in on critics, Coldplay and the story behind their sophomore release. On November 2 at 11 p.m. ET, Fuse, the national music network, will televise the worldwide premiere of Nirvana Live at Reading, the band’s legendary, never-before-released 1992 Reading concert. The show, marking the first time that Nirvana fans will experience the epochal August 30, 1992 headlining appearance at UK’s Reading Festival, will debut as an hour long broadcast the night before the limited edition 90 minute CD+DVD Deluxe Edition is by Geffen/UMe.
Featuring 25 songs including “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “All Apologies” and “Come As You Are,” Nirvana’s performance at Reading ranked No. 1 in Kerrang Magazine’s “100 Gigs That Shook The World” chart and was voted as “Nirvana’s No. 1 Greatest Moment” by fans in a recent NME poll.
“Fuse is excited to provide Nirvana fans with the first opportunity to witness this historic music event since the concert 17 years ago,” said David Weier, vice president, programming, Fuse. “Not only are we airing a highly anticipated, never-before-seen concert in more than 65 million homes, we are providing Nirvana’s loyal fan base with companion programming for a comprehensive and unique viewing experience.”
Leading up to the premiere of Nirvana Live at Reading, Fuse will air “Loaded: Nirvana,” a half-hour of Nirvana’s greatest music videos at 10 p.m. ET, followed by “Videos That Rocked the World: Smells Like Teen Spirit,” a celebration of the legendary music video which was a breakthrough for music, entertainment, culture and society.
While the show’s centerpiece was a performance of nearly the entire Nevermind tracklist, also noteworthy were early performances of three as yet unrecorded songs which wouldn’t be released until 2 years later on In Utero: “All Apologies,” “Dumb,” and in its first ever public performance, “Tourettes.” The career-spanning setlist also reached back to the band’s 1989 Sub Pop debut album, Bleach, for “Blew,” “About A Girl,” “School,” “Negative Creep” and first single “Love Buzz,” and even further back to the mid-’80s for “Spank Thru.” Other songs from the Reading set would appear in studio form on the Incesticide compilation later in the year: “Aneurysm,” “Been A Son” and “Sliver.” Additionally, the band played a pair of beloved covers by two bands that helped shape the formative Nirvana sound– “The Money Will Roll Right In” by Fang and “D-7″ by The Wipers.
Tune in to The Ellen DeGeneres Show on October 20th to catch a performance from OneRepublic. The band will play their current single “All The Right Moves” which appears on their forthcoming album Waking Up due out on November 17th.

If there was ever a question of what would come of Wolfmother after the departure of two founding members then now is the time to stop asking and start listening. Wolfmother has just unveiled their entire forthcoming album, Cosmic Egg, on MySpace and with each track a nail in the coffin of the past is hammered further in resulting in a full blown rock explosion into the present. When describing the new Wolfmother Kerrang! said the band, “have exceeded expectation, proving themselves modern masters of riff-centered, bass-heavy bong rock alchemy. Almost every track contains something fresh and off kilter while remaining immediate and throat-grabbing at the same time.”
Cosmic Egg arrives October 27th, and features the single “New Moon Rising.” For more information on Wolfmother, and where you can catch them on tour, visit www.Wolfmother.com and listen to Cosmic Egg now at MySpace.com
Today, and for the next 3 weeks, AOL’s Noisecreep.com will be releasing an exclusive and/or unheard audio clip from the amazing FMQB Metallica/Alice in Chains interview, “Inside Alice In Chains: Black Gives Way To Blue.” This week’s clip features Metallica talking to Alice in Chains about their collaboration with Elton John on the song “Black Gives Way To Blue.” “It’s a really intense song, and a really open-hearted song to Layne and the experience that we went through,” Cantrell says to Hetfield and Ulrich about the title track. “Facing up to all of that stuff, and owning all the good, and owning all the bad, and moving forward together. It was a lot of big steps…things were pretty black for us. It’s pretty literal to that, and things are starting to get a little lighter.” Keep checking back in the coming weeks for parts 2 and 3 of this classic interview.
Just as it was predicted, Mariah Carey is going downhill. According to Hits Daily Double, the singers Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel displayed some lacklustre sales, as her album was overshadowed by both Paramore and Barbra Streisand, coming in at a lowly number 3. Any other time in Mariahs music career and you would have easily predicted that shes going to be at the top of the mountain. But to be topped by a young band and an iconic diva who didnt even do any promotion for her album, all I can say is that its a long way down for Mariah.
Introducing Orianthi, the guitar phenomenon who is featured prominently in the upcoming Michael Jackson concert documentary, This Is It. Already a renowned musician, Orianthi has been playing guitar since the age of eleven and was discovered by legend Carlos Santana. After playing with artists like Carrie Underwood, ZZ Top, and Prince, she received a MySpace message from Michael Jackson’s musical director asking her to audition for his comeback tour. Following a test run with the King of Pop himself, she was selected as his lead guitarist for his O2 arena dates in London – a crowning acheivement for the 24 year old from Adelaide, Australia.
Now Orianthi is preparing to release her solo debut album, Believe, on October 27th. In addition to her talent at guitar, Orianthi has a gorgeous voice and even sang at Michael Jackson’s Staples Center memorial service. Even before starting rehearsals for his tour though, she was hard at work writing and recording the album with her band. Believe is full of anthemic rock tracks with a sound reminiscent of Paramore or Evanescence, but entirely Orianthi thanks to her signature shreds and thunderous hooks. Her first single, “According to You” is a catchy tale of an ungrateful boyfriend, featuring a killer guitar solo.
To hear the story in her own words, watch Orianthi in this segment from Australia’s Today show. Visit Orianthi.com for updates on this rising star, and be sure to check her out in This Is It out on October 28th.
Orianthi Panagaris Interview On Today Show:
To celebrate the release of their eighth studio album, Crash Love, AFI took to the stage at the world famous Roxy on Sunset thanks to local Los Angeles radio station KROQ. In front of an intimate crowd of hundred’s, rather than thousands that typically fill AFI shows, the band played a thrashing 14 song set filled with classics of the past, and a handful of Crash Love gems that are soon to be just that. Highlights of the night were too many to capsulize, but front man Davey Havok’s front flip into the waiting crowd on “Kill Caustic” and the stunning rendition of The Cure’s classic “Just Like Heaven” marked just a few of the moments that lit up the night. Reminiscent of 1995, AFI welcomed Nick 13 (Tiger Army) and Geoff Kresge (ex AFI/Tiger Army) to the stage to sing “Nyquil,” a track from the band’s first album, Answer That and Stay Fashionable. Electric performances of AFI’s radio singles “Miss Murder” and Crash Love’s “Medicate” put a cap on a night that will not soon be forgotten by the fan’s lucky enough to be present that night.
