Enrique Iglesias launches Euphoria

The new album signed by Enrique Iglesias, Euphoria, is the most diverse one till now. It is a collection of songs written in the past four years. This new material is showing Enrique discovering new directions, and being adventurous. Regarding the new album Enrique declared: “We can’t wait to finish this album. It does not resemble to anything I’ve done till now. It includes many musical genres and it was extraordinary for me to experiment and explore new territories.” . On this album Enrique collaborates with artists like Akon, Usher and Nicole Scherzinger.

Chris Martin has no plans to release solo album

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said he has no plans to release a solo album and thinks the idea would be ‘cringeworthy’.

Martin, 33, said he had been chatting to Natasha Khan from band Bat For Lashes about the thought of a solo album and decided that he is nothing without the band behind him.

He said to UK’s Q magazine: “This is going to sound cheesy, but what makes a great frontman is the great people behind him.

“I had this conversation yesterday with Natasha from Bat For Lashes, who’s on tour with us, and we were talking about how if Bono or I were to release solo albums, they’d be cringeworthy.

“It’s still the same person singing, but the gang aspect makes you acceptable.

“If you take me out of the band, I can’t dance, I can’t do what Beyonce can do.

“I’m only surviving on enthusiasm and collective chemistry. All frontmen become s**t as soon as the perceived least important member of their band leaves.”

Green Day getting a new release ready

While others can�t stand being famous and successful, Green Day sure have no problem with it. In fact, they seem to love it so much that they�re actually getting ready for a new album even though their last was released less than a year ago. This is what Billie-Joe Armstrong said about it: “We did some demos in Berlin, some in Stockholm, some just outside of Glasgow and some in Amsterdam,” said Armstrong. “We wanted to get down in some early form.” So, Green Day are using Europe to probe the field for their next album� they�ve become quite the little marketing geniuses, haven�t they? Maybe it will stick this time around too.

The music business has not been kind to Mariah Carey in the past year. After two push backs and a dismal first release of a studio album last year, the singer�s remix album �Angels Advocate� has been cancelled only a month away from its release date. A statement from her people confirmed the news but they didn�t say why it has been cancelled. In the meantime, reps for the singer say that she is looking to the future and is in the early stage of constructing a brand new album and maybe even a Christmas album. I say she should just quit when she�s ahead.

Lil Wayne Album on Limited Release

Some of Lil Wayne�s fans have gotten quite the surprise in the mail. The rapper�s upcoming rock album �Rebirth� was originally scheduled for release on December 15, but has since been pushed back to February 1. However, someone must have not gotten the memo as 500 or so fans who pre-ordered the album on Amazon were sent the CD in the mail this week. I�m expecting a full album leak to go down some time real soon. I wonder what those fans think of the new music that Lil Wayne is offering. Someone better get online and let us have a say too!

Kris Allen Album Coming Soon

There�s a new, albeit rumored, self-titled album cover for American Idol Season 8 winner Kris Allen out on the internet. The singer�s current single is �Live Like We�re Dying� and the album is scheduled to be released on November 17th. A couple of days ago, Kris was asked how close he was to wrapping things up on the record and he told EW, �We�re still writing some more songs for the album, and just putting some finishing touches on other tracks, going back to do some minor vocal takes, and that�s kind of it. We have a lot of songs that are almost done, and with a little bit of work we�ll have them completely done.�

OneRepublic have unveiled the cover to their highly anticipated sophomore album Waking Up. The follow-up to their Dreaming Out Loud debut is due out on November 17th, and it features the powerful new single “All The Right Moves.” OneRepublic broke records with their mega-hit “Apologize” which became the most legally downloaded song in US digital history.

In 2007, after seven years together as a band, OneRepublic took the world by storm with their debut release Dreaming Out Loud. The album included the smash first single “Apologize” which shattered digital sales and airplay records worldwide, and along with second single “Stop And Stare” propelled the album to platinum plus sales. Now the boys from Denver are back with a new set and a fall tour! Waking Up will be released November 17th on Mosley/Interscope Records. In support of their new release OneRepublic will join Rob Thomas on tour beginning September 23rd at the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, FL.

OneRepublic recorded Waking Up in their home town of Denver, CO. Tedder, an accomplished producer in his own right, and one of the most sought after songwriters of today, has penned and produced hit singles for the likes of Leona Lewis, Beyonce, Jordin Sparks, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Lopez and Natasha Bedingfield and is currently working with Carrie Underwood, Rihanna, Adam Lambert and Rascal Flatts. Razorlight singer Johnny Borrell wants the band’s next album to have a dance feel.

Borrell, 29, said: “It’s going to be a different sound, I want to collaborate with someone. I’m thinking a house music extravaganza.

“I was sifting through old things the other day and found a piece of paper with some songs from Carl Barat. That was another era. I wish The Libertines all the best if they do get back together.”

21st Century Breakdown, Green Day’s highly-anticipated eighth studio album, was released worldwide on Friday May 15th, by Reprise Records. Green Day have just released a behind-the-scenes look at their new video for �Know Your Enemy.� The clip, while short, gives a glimpse into what�s in store for fans in the forthcoming video. The Matthew Cullen (Weezer) directed video was shot in Los Angeles and will make its premiere on April 24th via 250+ MTV on-air and online outlets worldwide.
